The Pack of Vandrow (Always open!)

Amber lifted her head and quickly started wagging her tail merrily at the sight of Postremo. He was okay! The two alpha wolves were a reassuring sight. For as long as she could remember, they always resonated an aura of safety. If only Lila was with them... Then there would seem to be no cause for fear anymore.
She sighed and lowered her head to the ground. How long were they going to wait here though?

The Farmhouse (Dead)

"W-We don't know the way home!" Anne exclaimed at Kira's suggestion, "A-And what about the scream?"

Gideon just shrugged and stepped over to the closest one, the left one. He turned the dusty door knob and gently swung the door open. It creaked loudly as it opened. It was definitely a bedroom. The room was lit by moonlight streaming in through a window. There was a bed, a desk, and a dresser. It was all very plain, except there was a random piece of paper lying on the desk. Like everything else, it was exceptionally dusty. It must have been left behind at some point.

Anne carefully approached and peeked into the room. When she saw that it was empty and a bedroom, she hurried back to the top of the stairs. "Alexi!" She called down, "There's a bed up here for you lie down in!"

Gideon cast the glow of the candle into the dark room. It seemed to be a short hallway leading to all the bedrooms. Along the wall ahead were three doorways. At one end of the of the hall was another dresser. On top of it was a large, dusty mirror. Gideon couldn't help but jump when he saw himself in the mirror. He frowned and looked around the hall. Besides that, it was completely bare. There weren't even windows or pictures here. There was no where to hide for whatever that sensation was earlier.

He stepped in front of the middle door and thought. "Choices, left, middle, right..." He mumbled. "Which has the monster?" He continued jokingly.

Anne timidly followed behind the others. She silently begged to herself that there would be nothing scary up there. Her face went a little white when she saw blood from Alexi's chin, but she quickly realized what happened. stepping closer to her, Anne glanced at Alexi with concern. "Do we have anything for Alexi's nose?" She asked the others. She quickly checked her pockets, but she hadn't brought anything of use.

Amber stayed quiet at the worrisome news. No, Postremo had to be okay, right? She couldn't imagine he had been gone for very long. She was sure they'd go out looking for him later. She followed behind Klondike as they entered the cave. She squeezed past Klondike when they entered the cave. She couldn't help but raise one of her paws uncomfortably, having forgotten the cold stone. She stepped towards one of the corners of the cave, turned to the others and curled up into a little ball with a sigh.

"Alexi!" Anne rushed over to her. "Are you okay?" She struggled to help her, trying to pull her out of the hole in the stairs.

Gideon turned around at the sound and Anne's shout. He quickly placed his candle on the ground next himself and stepped down the stairs to help Anne pull Alexi out. Together they managed top pull her out and set her on the step below. "Careful," He said simply. He was straightening out when he sensed the weird sensation again. The hairs on the back of his neck raised up and he whipped around. Darkness. He bent down and lifted the candle up. Still he saw nothing.

"Come on..." He said with a small gesture to the others without turning around. He then made his way into the darkness.

Amber followed Klondike and the rest back to the cave they had found. When they stopped outside, she quietly watched for Misty's reaction. She felt relieved when Misty reacted positively. She still didn't think the cave was the best option, but if Misty thought it was good, then it would have to do. Amber was watching Misty moving to enter the cave when a thought popped into her head. "Wait," She spoke up suddenly, "where's Postremo?"

The Farmhouse (Dead)

"Weird..." Gideon mumbles. He inches his way over to the foot of the stairs. He watches the darkness quietly, thinking he might see some kind of movement. He assumed it must have been some kind of animal that sneaked in or was living there. Preferably a small harmless one. He gently touched the handle of the kitchen knife he had taken as reassurance. He then began carefully making his way upstairs. The wooden steps creaked loudly under his feet. He stopped at the very top of the staircase.

"W-Wait, Gideon!" Anne exclaimed, "It's dark and creepy up there, hold on!" She turned quickly and walked back into the kitchen. She quickly looked through the cabinets, hoping to find more candles. One of the cabinets was strangely filled with the same type of jar, though they were all empty, much to her luck. She finally found a couple of dusty old candles in one of the cabinets. She took them out and brought them back to the others. She lit one and hurried up the stairs to hand it to Gideon. She then began inching back downstairs. She didn't think to light the other candle, and she had no desire to find whatever gave them that strange sensation.

Anne walked over to inspect the jar. She leaned in and stared at the jar. She quickly pulled back and made a face. "Eugh! That's disgusting!"
She gingerly leaned back in and studied the disgusting thing. "Is that some kind of spoiled meat?.." Anne wondered. It certainly looked like it. She straightened out and took a few steps back. "Geez, just put that back," She said with a frown.

Hider

Anne shuddered suddenly. She quickly tilted her head upwards and stared at the top of the stairs. It was pitch black. A bead of sweat slipped down the side of her face. She shivered, wrapping her arms around herself. "D-Did anyone else feel that?" She asked timidly.
