Bio

Growing up I read at a 3rd grade level when I was in kindergarden. Thus my Uncle Bob, a big fantasy/Sci Fi geek introduced me to the literary works of Edgar Rice Burroughs (Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, Carson of Venus etc.), at the age of 8. An to the works of Robert E. Howard (Conan, Kull, Solomon Kane etc.), at the age of 11. In both book and comic form. As well as similar authors like Fritz Leiber, Lin Carter, Sprague De Camp, Gardner Fox, Tolkien-only 'The Hobbit' etc.). In early 1976, when I was 12. My Uncle bought the original pho-woodgrain D & D 3 booklet set. Not being wargamers, we struggled and failed connecting the concepts put forward in them. Then the much more understandable Tunnels & Trolls came along. It's numerous solitaire dungeons to cut our RPGing teeth on. At first my Uncle and I couldn't talk anyone else into to taking the time to learn enough of the rules to playing with us. But that changed after the poorly done animated LOTR movie came out, along with the Star Wars and Conan the Barbarian movies.
Anyway I done a decent amount of RPGing over the years since then. As much as school, girlfriends, after school and summer jobs, then 4 years Navy, college, career, marriage, and having 3 kids have allowed. I have played in many games using many different rules systems. Sometimes I have gone a half a decade or so without playing table tops RPGs. Rather getting my RPG fix via Xbox and PC games. It has been nine years since I attempted to play in a regular weekly RL game. It got to frustrating with half the time half the people not showing up. I have been RPGing online on various sites like this, as time has allow since the early 00's. With my last kid going off to college this last fall. I have more spare time on my hands. Right now I'm semi retired and play in 7 games. As well as DM/GMing 2 others. Most of them fantasy based. On 6 different sites like this one.

It basically the same as if I was playing a old school computer or video game such as 'Baldur's Gate', 'Icewind Dale' or 'Temple of Elemental Evil'. Where the Player controls a Party of six PCs. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses. So if you were to DM such a game, what game setting would you want to play it in?
Ok, that makes 3 Female PCs and 1 Male PC. At least if they all survive, they can get a foot up on repopulating this world. LP has my PC been accepted as well?
Will you be looking for any romance among your party? Perhaps Male Human Barbarian and Female Human Cleric? Sounds like there could be sparks.

Well perhaps, why not also include the female High Elf Wizard and male Wood Elf Ranger as well? Why do you ask? Would you be more interest in DMing a game if such was the case?
I'm tired of wasting my time playing in normal games where half the players drop out of the game shortly after starting and the others only post once a week. Slowing things to a sad crawl until the game finally dies. Preferred Settings are either Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms or Mystra in a more rural, rather then urban situation. Though I may be open to playing in a DM's Homebrew Setting, on a case by case basis. The six PCs would be a male Mountain Dwarf Fighter, a male Human Barbarian, a female Human Cleric of a LG or NG Deity of the Life and light variety, a female High Elf Wizard, a male Halfling Rogue and a male Wood Elf Ranger. All of the PCs have one of the three Good Alignments The desired posting rate is at least once every 1 or 2 days. Please send me a PM if you are interested in DMing such a game. Thanks!
Welcome, that's good to hear! A healer/herbalist sounds great!

I'll get up a character sheet up soon

Hey, good to see you here. Hopefully those two who showed interest earlier out on this game's intro. page. Will still be showing up also.
So basically a fantastical version of medieval Europe. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for Lore and Religions.
Please see what I added to Wulfric's CS. I figure that is where the game starts for him. I think the Land is the last thing he is worried about. There would be plenty of free vacant land for the taking by the time this thing is over. If that ever happens.

It would be nice to know more about your world. Are humans the only sentient being in it? Or are there other races, etc.?
LP, I just posted my Character, Wulfric Waywarder's CS. I look forward to hearing what your thoughts are about him.
