Moe heard Ally get up, but his usual response was to ignore people so at first he didn't respond, but then Ally wrapped his arms around Moe and he slowly turned around, giving a lazy half smile to the other.
"Good afternoon, how as your nap?" He said, trying hard to retain his smile, he was honestly troubled by how hard it was to keep smiling, it was throwing him off, was he really this bad at displaying emotions? He was trying, at least.

He said softly, then he said with an edge of sternness, "and you aren't pathetic Ally, this is normal for humans if you didn't act at least a little shocked then well, that would be pathetic." He said assuredly, he lead Ally forward, trying to hurry because it was so cold outside now, it was only 7 o'clock in the morning but it felt like midnight, it was so cold and numbing.

After a while they finally got to Moe's apartment, got upstairs, and Moe sat on his bed, urging Ally to join him.

Moe was frozen again, he didn't HAVE time to be frozen, in this moment he had to act or Ally would be dead, for the first time in his life he acted before thinking. He raced forward, letting himself levitate because that was faster, he shot forward the wind nearly cutting at his skin but he was numb like usual, and it felt like little needle pricks, he stood in front of Ally, two seconds until impact, he grabbed the boy and lifted him in the air, moving both upward and to the side, half of him was saying 'people see you' and he realized he didn't care right now, the wind was painful to him he wondered how Ally was taking it, didn't matter, a little pain rather than being dead is a small price to pay.

He didn't know if that's what he meant by "I like you", was it just a friend-I like you statement, or was he saying that they should "date". He decided to answer the part of the question he could, "just follow me, the hotel isn't that far." He didn't know how to answer the rest, so he answered with a question. "By you saying "I like you", are you saying that you wish to partake in a romantic relationship, or are you simply stating you like me? In either cases, I do like you too."

"Ally, if you would like to join me on my many spectacular adventures I'm not going to deny the company, not your company, I don't think I could deny that even if I wanted to." He said teasingly, really he liked Ally's persistent nature, it was endearing.
"So, if you would like to tag along, who am I to deny you the pleasure." He said with a small twitch of the lips that quickly faded at his own pompous self. This was dangerous, and god he was so so selfish for doing this, there was so much danger in letting Ally come with him but god he was so so lonely and he didn't want to be anymore.

Moe let out an incredulous laugh, "thank you, I try not to speak in my Russian accent because it's very noticeable amongst Americans, but eh, what am I gonna do now?" He said softly, "but really, we should get you somewhere warm, you don't have to let go of me, but we do need to get you inside somewhere, I would fly us to my hotel but I can't make you invisible along with myself, and seeing a floating boy would seem rather odd, don't you think?"
