Those that have RP'd with me lately, please take a gaze at my Bio. I finally got around to updating it.
Bio
"I burn endlessly, an intextinguishable inferno within the depths of a storm of passion and grace." Septimus Aureous, Captain of the Turian Frigate: Elysium
I've been roleplaying and writing for a little over half my life, and I'm 22. If I come across as cynical, picky, overly willing to write a huge CS, very inquisitive, and even ready to drop an RP out of nowhere, I apologize. I've seen way too many RPs look good only to end up smashing face first into the dirt with almost no explanation to it. I tend to see an impending crash coming from a mile away and will jump ship long before the water reaches my feet.
I enjoy most genres, including Sci-fi, Fantasy, Magic-fantasy, fandom-reworks, modern, sci-fantasy, and most things under the sun. No. I'm not going to partake in highschool or pony or anime roleplays. Outside of those, I tend to take a part in most of what peaks my interest or curiosity.
I am currently involved in an RP surrounding the exploits of the Crimson Dusicyon and her pirate crew. As well as continuing the adventures of the manic crew of the harpoon in an infinite quest for dat poon tang.
I am currently working on several short stories that I tend to flip back and forth on depending on where I'm leaning.
I'm working on a story involving an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper trapped beneath a hundred kilos of rubble and, with her life mere hours away from being extinguished, she lets her mind wander to her past and her experiences with the dangerous anti-UNSC terrorists. I've taken to call this: Halo ODST: Rebellion.
I am also working on my most deeply thought out world and story: Sonnet of a Damned Cowboy. A story taking place hundreds of years in the future, where the earth is a barren desert due to the earth being cooked alive. The survivors make their own stories as they drive huge caravans of huge mechs called Lancers and deliver supplies from one town to another.
Finally, I am working on a Fallout based story taking place in the frozen north of Canada, old survivors of the Enclave's oppression struggle to survive in the relentless cold. Battle hardened, tired, and cold. They all know that the smallest of mistakes in the frozen wastes will be almost certain death.
FINALLY finished with the Tsurask. Sorry for the wait!
Now for my characters T_T
EDIT: I've also updated the roster to allow for a whopping 5 more slots for new writers. The previous interest checkers did not move over the OOC over the last couple days and I have not heard from them. They were given due notice and never responded.
The following people have first dibs on spots in the Campfire.
The Current limit of players for this RP is 10
Vash (GM) Demontongue (Co-GM) Rae Zur Guilty Spark Deadpixel Konia Yojimbo
Use each CS as it applies to you. You don't have to use all three.

Tsurask and Essanga species are pending, my brain is a bit spent at the moment. Long day is long, but I should get up the Tsurask hopefully tonight. DT hopes to get the Essanga up after she gets home from work.
As you walk about the streets, you stumble upon a flyer. It's very new, not even a day old and your curiosity is piqued, so you take a long hard look. "Aetherium. The lost city of gold. Hidden deep within the unexplored deep south, beyond the Lynaldan Grasslands of our forefathers, across the land bridge of Erbethan, through the Essanga Forest and even past the treacherous Tsuraskian Bog. The journey even rounds the deadly Kishalk Ice Range where no man, beast, or creature has ever gone. Into the lands of the Black Wardens. Nobody has ever managed to cross the Ice Range, until now. A route has been mapped, and the infamous city of gold has been seen."
Below the text was a picture, a painting of a painting, one that had been spreading news quickly. An explorer had seen the other side of the ice range and, across a tundra was a massive forest of twisted trees where, in the middle was a massive mountain. Dragons encircled it, hundreds of them, and sprawling down the side, covering the jagged peak in a shining glory that was nearly too bright and blinding to look at, was...the city of gold: Aetherium
"Legends say that the city is protected by it's vicious protectors. The black wardens. Dragon Masters cloaked behind black metal armor, their swords of fire able to reach any below, their mastery over their massive mounts unparalleled and unchallenged. My name is Ilium Norak, and I need your help. There is an object within the city that I need to reach and I can not do it alone. I call upon you, heroes of the land. Join me in the city of Lenaya, the capital of the Lydian Humans, at the Golden Guar. Help me reach my destination and the city of gold will be yours to plunder, limitless power will be at your disposal.
"Become my guardians, and gain whatever your heart desires most."
Aeon. A lush, vibrant, and beautiful planet surrounded by three celestial bodies. Two of them are the planet's moons, The Watchers, and the last is The Outlander, a beautiful purple comet that was caught in the gravitational pull of the planet. Below lies the surface, dotted with several continents that are host to the varied and extravagant natives. The Human kindom of Lydia, where the Lydian humans vie for survival between their much more formidable neighbors. Spread out over the central, smallest, continent, they were the first to establish the church of The Outlander and begin to master the delicate intricacies of magic a little over three hundred years ago.
To the far south, on the largest continent of Shyron, are the two gargantuan warring races that each control half of the northern region in a never ending stalemate. The Essanga, great, cat-like people that take to the great forests that stand between the Erbethan Landbridge and their enemies' dark bog. The Tsurask make their home in this place, standing as tall as the Essanga and are twice as mean, they fiercely defend their territory from their old foe, and even themselves.
Deeper south, on the southern half of the continent is the imposing Kishalk Ice Range, formerly completely impassible due to the extreme cold and sheer peaks...that was until a single man had found an ancient road, long forgotten by time. It lead him through the peaks to the other side, to what he named the "Kishalk's Tears", a land covered by Tundra and a twisted, unholy forest surrounded the lost City of Gold: Aetherium.
Now, a year after the discovery of Aetherium, an expedition is beginning to form, mere weeks away from the receding of the Erbetha Landbridge's infamously impassible waters. The woman calling for it, Ilium Norak, is seeped in mystery. Never revealing her face. She says that what she seeks is in the golden city and that whomever helps her claim it shall have limitless power, unimaginable wealth, and all that one's heart can desire.
Do you dare to answer her call?
Welcome assorted heroes, heroines, neer-do-wells, and other types of people to Aeon, the brainchild between my Co-GM@DemonTongue and myself. Enormous amounts of work went into crafting the world and preparing it for your characters to jump into it. This RP was the result of wanting to create a world for Demontongue to mentally store her creations and have a free play within it. Some of those creatures might just appear in the roleplay for us to enjoy, such as the golf ball sized Dandilion, or the ox-like Thruvaan. Before you read on, however, please take note of the rules of this roleplay.
1-1.5 Paragraphs per IC post. Make a post as long as you want but it has to be 1-1.5 or above. If there are complications with that, such as writer's block and RL issues, we'll have a campfire and talk about that.
Character sheets MUST be detailed. I don't want to see anybody's character sheet being small and miniscule. Tiny CSs that you deem as "complete" will be denied on the spot. Put some love and care into your CS!
If there are any squabbles or disagreements, be civil. I'm usually pretty lenient for OOC chatter, it's a meeting place where we can chill and talk and roleplay, like a plaza. IF however a fight breaks out over something, either take it to convo or agree to disagree. We're all buddies here, no need to be slicing out jugulars. This applies to Pirate Pad as well.
Enjoy yourself and if you have questions or suggestions for ideas, don't be afraid to speak up! Everybody's ideas matter! No matter what the idea is! Side stories, species, diversions, cities, NPCs, even alterations to the main quest itself will be viewed and considered!
The Campfire is also a fantastic place for collabs to take place. Collabs are very much encouraged, as is just idle chatting on there. Most of the time, I, or Demontongue, will be on there. If we're not, we're probably sleeping.
The Outlander.
A glowing light in the sky that has encircled the planet of Aeon for ages. Scripture says that the Outlander came to Aeon thousands of years ago and, in a flash of brilliant light, bestowed magic upon the land. It's radiance pierces both the darkness of night and the light of day, visible at several times of the day as it circles it's home.
"The Outlander, the great indigo light that travels across our sky every day. Thousands of years ago, the Outlander came to our home and spread his seeds across the land, giving us the gift of magic. It took a millenia for those seeds to grow and give the land life and only within the last few centuries have we, the disciples of the great Outlander, been rewarded with the gift of knowledge. Knowledge on how to control the magics that he has bestowed upon us. Most fear us, call us witches, devils, blood mages. But we are no villains, we would never hurt each other with our gift, it is not the way of the Outlander. We have achieved great things, built great monuments, never killed." - High Priest Amadaeus Callahan of The Holy Church Of The Outlander.
Deep within the bogs of Auresh, the Tsurask dwell within their ancient home, mired in millennia old tradition that has ruled their species since they crawled their way out of the muck. They are reptilekin, with scales of many types and colors.
The Tsurask and Aurask are, in fact, the same species. Both are classified as Tsaurask when they are born until they turn 14. This is because when they are born they are born with both male and female genetalia. When they mature at the age of 14, they are given the choice of which life path to take. Depending on what they feel the most, they have one genital removed and their body reacts appropriately. Until they hit this point, they are very featureless, with human-like heads and bodies with the addition of a tail.
Tsurask: If the child keeps the male genitalia, the female ones inside them become inert as their body self adjusts. Their heads become very lizardlike and their scales become more armored and spike-like and their teeth become jagged and deadly.
Aurask. If the child keeps the female genitalia, their body undergoes a radical change in physiology as they become much more snakelike and feminine. They lose any masculinity in the process, but retain their human-like heads. Most even begin to grow hair, but most importantly, their legs quickly meld together into that of a snake. Their scales soften, becoming smoother and glossier. They gain quite a bit of weight too due to their tails.
Most Tsurask males stand at about 9-10 feet tall while the females, at a rested state, stand at 7-9 feet. But when using their tails to stand in an active state, they can appear to be 10-12 feet tall.
All Tsurask and Aurask are equal in all terms in the military, though the males tend to take warrior and scout roles due to their quick and nimble bodies while the females take on archery and assassin roles due to their weight and tendency to get fatigued quickly. There are no laws or prejudices towards either gender taking up either role.
Just as the military, Tsurask tend to be the primary travelers, explorers, traveling merchants, and courier while Aurask become shop owners, painters, diplomats, and doctors. Either gender may pursue whatever they wish to pursue.
There is a heavy handed law in place that demands that the child must choose their gender at 14 or risk being imprisoned until they make a choice. This law is in place as if they reach adulthood with both genitalia, they can impregnate themselves and lead to bloodline stagnation.
There is a single city, Aurellia, in the center of the Tsurask homeland. It is where a majority of the Tsurask stay and live. About 90% of the population make Aurellia their home, however the last 10% is out among the bogs, within their own small towns or tribes.
The Tsurask and Essanga are at war due to the ever expanding bog that the Tsurask call their home. The bog is, as the years progressing, overtaking the resource rich lands of the Essanga, causing high tensions and bitter rivalries.
Tsuraskian government is council based, 5 individuals are elected to be on a council that decide the direction of the people every day.
Pending DT's completion of them.
The Lydian are the primary faction of humans that control the smallest continent on Aeon and have several cities all over it. Trade routes are well protected and the capital city of Lenaya is a hub where all races come to trade and do business of any and all types.
The Lydians are a hardy, but fair people. Seeing the other races as equals for the most part. They have strong warriors and excellent scholars. As humans tend to be, the Lydian can be selfish and cruel to one another when bonds are broken and trusts are misplaced. Many enjoy the simple life and there are no shortage of adventurers looking to plunder ancient ruins and to explore every corner of the world. They are currently at war with a kingdom to the far west named the Yenanin.
The Black Wardens
Upon the backs of their fell black dragons, they guard the legendary city of Aetherium. Legends say that these warriors are deathless, as are their mighty steeds. With unholy blades that cast blue flames down upon their unlucky enemies, they smite all that threaten their greatest of treasures: The Golden City.
Twice a year, once at the beginning of Summer and once in the middle of winter, the waters between the massive continent of Shyron and the human continent of Helsath lower. For three weeks, the legendary land bridge of Erbethan is able to crossed, enabling a great rush of trade to ensue as merchants scramble to cross the 200 kilometer stretch with as many wares as possible to strike a gold mine with the Tsurask and Essanga. Those that do not make it back in time are doomed to remain on the opposite continent for several months and wait for the waters to recede again. None dare to cross the distance by boat as the waters are infamously rocky around the continent and the water itself will tear the ship apart in minutes from the force of the tidal waves.
Note: You are unable to play as the black warden themselves. Sorry.
As you make your characters, please keep a few things in mind. We will accept generally any character or species as long as they fit the world. But if you do make a species, DT and I expect you to flesh out their history, where they live in the world, and how they fit into society.
Be unique and original with your characters.
You are able to create your own species if the three base races do not pique your interest.
Fandom species (Eg. Sangheili from Halo, Fallen from Destiny, Orcs from WOW) will not be accepted Unless you somehow make them fit perfectly into the world. They'll be put through a harsh screening process between DT and I. Don't count on them being accepted. Fandom characters will most likely not be accepted.
Pets are not just allowed, but encouraged! Even dragons! Though there is a bit of a size limit, which would be 3x the size of a horse.
No smash-ups or human mythology creatures, please. (Eg. Centaur, cyclops, harpies, chimera, ect.)
There are certain exceptions to this rule. (Such as a rito from Wind Waker.) Ask us or give us an example and DT and I will decide.
No space people please.
Magic and magic users are still very VERY new to the world, only a few centuries old. Telekinesis and weapon enchantment are the most well known and easiest of the magics available. Fireballs and lightning bolts are extremely difficult to cast and require great concentration. There are no known natural defenses against them except for enchanted armor. Weapons and armor can be imbued with the powers of the elements. Most enchanters able to actually keep a shop open will only know how to enchant swords and shields as they are the easiest and the most widely used.
And please, go nuts with your CS. I'm totally up for the crazy people with a crazy weapon (not CRAZY CRAZY OMG CRAZY) with awesome looking armor, just don't go overboard. Try to balance the Crazy with the Practical. I'm willing to stretch the lore a little, but not enough that it won't fit in the world at all.
Use each CS as it applies to you. You don't have to use all three.

One last thing. If anything happens in life that gets in the way of the roleplay, just let DT or I know. We'll accommodate and help you in any way we can. We understand that life happens and that life always comes first.
Very very nice guide, good sir. I'll definitely be keeping this in my bookmarks page for when I eventually host a Fallout-based survival RP. Thank you!
Bit of a status update, have the intro done. Just need to hammer out the lore, rules/regs/details, CS and I'll be done. Lore will take the most time as there's quite a bit of ground to cover. ETA: Most likely tomrrow, or late tonight depending on if DT helps me it.
As for me, I'm off to a party! Thanks for all the interest thus far!
~Vash
EDIT: Oh, and as a little tidbit to thank you for your patience thus far, have an excerpt from the lore: What is the Outlander?
"The Outlander, the great indigo light that travels across our sky every week.
