I'll write something here eventually.

Very interested, gives off feelings of the Mist.

How long-haul are we talking here, by the way? How many people are you looking for?

The Mist was indeed one of the inspirations behind this. Thought the movie was okay but only managed to watch a few episodes of the show before dropping it altogether. Wasn't much of a fan of the show.

As for your questions, however, when I mean long-haul, I mean actually sticking around for the RP. People tend to have a habit of making sheets, posting once or twice before ghosting the RP altogether. I've also had entire groups ghost me all at once while I'm sitting around waiting for posts from them, so I would like to avoid that if possible.

For potential players, I'm guessing maybe around 8-10 players/sheets at the most. 12 pushing it. Though, since this is an apartment complex, I won't stop anyone from making a secondary sheet or NPC some family members or whatever if they do get accepted.
Out of Character Information
Welcome to Fog.

Taking place solely in a Bostonian apartment complex, Fog is one story of many in the days following the events of October 7th, 1994. It is the tale of survival against the unknown; against an inhuman threat prowling in the darkness. In other words, you are a regular individual, living in an apartment complex that is now your only defense against a threat none of you have yet to see.

If that piques your interest, all I ask of you is to be competent enough to post a few paragraphs once weekly, and that you stick for the long haul. I've had too many people drop in previous "horror-esque" RPs and I would prefer that not happen here as well. If you can do both and are still interested, then feel free to drop your interest below and/or with any questions you might have.

Background Information
Sicut patribus sit Deus nobis.

On October 7th, 1994, the words of Boston, Massachusetts meant little in a city suddenly abandoned by God. As the night progressed, a supernatural weather event enveloped the eastern seaboard, covering the land in a misty fog nearly impossible to see through. Although this freak weather would claim countless lives through accidents or crashes, it was, however, not the most dangerous thing out there, as many would find out later on.

Those who were indoors at the time were safe. Those who had been out on the streets were changed. Their bodies contorted into something out of a horror movie, while their minds gave way to bloodlust; a desire to attack those hiding inside in their homes, stores or other buildings.

Thankfully, for the people residing in the 50-unit Glenview Apartment Complex, Alton Bates—an elderly Korean war veteran in charge of nightly security—realized the dangers. At the cost of his own life, he secured the entrances to the complex in time to save the lives of those still inside.

Even with Alton's sacrifice, though, Glenview's denizens remain faced with one problem after another. Should they try to escape the fog and its demons, or should they just lay low and wait for help? Or should they just accept their fates; to roll over and die?

Best to think it through, lest the fog takes you.
>all these apps

Not really vibing with the idea of putting in work into a sheet when there are a ton of apps but so little spots, therefore I think I'mma bow out before I get ahead of myself.
@Sanedraned You can't close your account. The closest mods can currently do is permanently ban you. If you want to just change your password in case you ever want to come back, you have to log out and go through the forgot password feature.
Thinking of maybe doing something related to the village's blacksmith or former shrine maiden.
I'm just here to join in on the meme.
