And here's the hype crew!

The Havish Empire is, by origin of name, a haven consisting of people who lack the ability to use magic one way or another. It was established for them since its conception, and it stands today by their efforts. By all means, the Empire should've torn itself apart since it hosted races of all kinds that were stereotyped as bickering, including your average orcs, your less-than-stellar goblins, dwarves, half-elves, and so on and so forth. But you see, when everyone hates the same pale-skinned, sharp-chinned face and the smug grin that settles between those obnoxiously large eyes and pipe-length chin, it becomes really, really easy to want to split it in half with an axe...even if it take half a dozen fully grown males to do so.

And that's generally how the Empire got around to doing their things. Though their tactics were crude and their ways simple, the Empire's denizens no longer desired to become the breeding sacks of posh idiots, nor did any man within the Empire wanted to be subjected to another day's labor at the whim of another who could very well have easily done the entire labor under a minute.

It came to everybody's shock, then, that the Havish survived the last two decades in constant war against practically every magic-beholding race, including mankind, the elves and their variants, the wilderness filled with druids, the gnomes and the shorter races, the Orcs, and just about everything else that could communicate with spirits. Now, after being put on the defensive for so long, the Havish will take its first and last initiative, one that will sweep over the entire land and end the era of disparity.

It comes to reason that if you aren't too inclined to playing the "bad guys" in an RP, you can go on and skip this post. And by bad, I mean "spare no one and stack their skulls in a burning pyramid before melting all their gold to be re-purposed for monetary to fund the war effort" evil. Don't worry, I won't hold it against you if you can't axe children the right questions (because you will be, somewhere, some time).

For all those still reading, congratulations, you just got booted into the Havish Legion. You're now all Legionnares with your own skillsets and tools. You may have a ton of varying reasons as to why you'd EVER want to murder every last prick-eared pale-skin, as well as their cohorts, but to the Havish Empire, it's all very much the same : you're going to see this task through to the end, meaning the entire eradication of the culture of magic as the world knows it. The only thing you've got on you are the standard-issue Legionnare patches (literally square clothes sewn into your shoulder or chest) and whatever standard-issue swords the smiths could chuck out, but by hell that's all you're gonna need, given that your need to sate your bloodlust is strong enough.

So here, if you could just fill out this report below so we don't stick a bolt between your eyes next time we meet, that'd be much appreciated :

For the setting of the world (generally putting the extent of how powerful magic goes, what races there'll be, technology, etc.), I'll be "borrowing" EndMaster's world from the CYOA interactive-fiction game, Eternal :

http://chooseyourstory.com/story/eternal

And here's our map!

The Havish Empire is that land-locked section towards the East. Pretty big, huh?

If I can remember, the races of that world contained :
  • Humans
  • Orcs, goblinoids, etc.
  • Dwarves, though very few. Gnomes as well.
  • Elves, and Dark Elves (spare these for slave labor!)
  • Kobolds, gnolls, and other menial tribal races.
  • Wyverns, dragons, and other massive, slithery, scaly beasties.
  • Giants, trolls, and ogres, diversified in various harsh biomes.
  • Wendigos, wraiths, spectres, and other spookies.

There's probably gonna be more for the sake of diversifying targets and adding to the fun of tossing a variety of baby elves head-first into a brick wall. I'll have to see what works as time goes by, though.
OOC INCOMING! WOOHO*O!
@Traitor

Yes, those too! Any race you can think of, essentially...so long as they aren't magical.
Halloa, Verdaux here.

So far, I've seen a lot of pro-magic RPs put into play in the fantasy section, so I'm wondering if I could spice it up and do the opposite. Does it constitute fake genocide? Definitely.

So it comes to reason that if you aren't too inclined to playing the "bad guys" in an RP, you can go on and skip this post. And by bad, I mean "spare no one and stack their skulls in a burning pyramid before melting all their gold to be re-purposed for monetary to fund the war effort" evil.

For those curious enough to try, here's the plot :

The Havish Empire is, by origin of name, a haven consisting of people who lack the ability to use magic one way or another. It was established for them since its conception, and it stands today by their efforts. By all means, the Empire should've torn itself apart since it hosted races of all kinds that were stereotyped as bickering, including your average orcs, your less-than-stellar goblins, dwarves, half-elves, and so on and so forth. But you see, when everyone hates the same pale-skinned, sharp-chinned face and the smug grin that settles between those obnoxiously large eyes and wry grin, it becomes really, really easy to split it in half with an axe...even if it take half a dozen fully grown males to do so.

Now, after being put on the defensive for so long, the Havish will take its first and last initiative, one that will sweep over the entire land and end the era of disparity.

You may come from any race, except for those inherently tied to the supernatural or magical, so...

...elves, werewolves, vampires, and others are not permitted.

"Mundane" gnolls, orc berserkers, and former sex-slave half-elves? All of my yes.
