Name: Komand'r
Codename: Blackfire; Queen Komand'r; Number One Universal Party Girl (Not based on canon)
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown, but seems to be in her early twenties when compared to humans.
Source: Combination of various DC comics wiki sources. Heavily altered.
- She takes the Teen Titans TV show and Teen Titans Go! comic series aspect of having a non-violent but intense sibling rivalry with Koriand'r.
- She takes the Teen Titans Go! comic series and Pre-New 52, New Earth comic series aspect of not being able to fly without technological aids.
- Like the Teen Titans Go! comic series, Teen Titans TV show, and New 52, Prime Earth comic series, she sold her sister Koriand'r.
Other information that doesn't align with sources will be thoroughly elaborated in the biography.
Birthplace: The kingdom of Tamaran.
Affiliation: She has no affiliation with any Earth groups. As queen, she controls of Tamaraneans back on Tamaran.
Occupation: She is the queen of Tamaran. She enjoys going on irresponsible joyrides when Tamaran seems like it'll do fine for a couple days. Her favorite pastimes include visiting and harassing her sister Koriand'r (Starfire) on Earth and drinking. Ruining Koriand'r's day by staying over at her place and drinking her milk from the carton are just a few of her ways to ruin Koriandr's day. Sleeping with every boyfriend Koriand'r gets is a must.
Race: Alien - Tamaranean
Appearance:
Despite the orange skin, red hair, and green eyes of most Tamaraneans, Komand'r is pale with violet eyes and black hair. As in the first picture, she dons typical Tamaranean attire. Despite these looks, where a human would assume she's a brooding goth, she's actually a very playful party girl.
Picture 1 is misleading. She should not be able to fly without technological aids.
Powers: Extraterrestrial - Tamaranean
She has the powers of a typical Tamaranean. However, due to balancing issues, I have omitted some.
Here is what she has:
Destructive blackbolt energy projection from her eyes and palms.
Superhuman durability.
Extended longevity and slowed aging process.
Language assimilation by lip contact.
I have also maintained the canon in which she cannot fly as opposed to the Teen Titans TV series.
Skills:
Komand'r is a master of deception and situation manipulation.
She can use a pair of rocket boots.
She can make military strategies.
She's good at chess, even when drunk.
Equipment:
She has a lot of money.
She has a pair of rocket boots.
She has Earth clothes such as a sweatshirt, several plain tight V-neck T-shirt, some pairs of tight jeans (some ripped), some sneakers and socks, and a black baseball cap. She holds these in a backpack.
She has a set of Tamaranean clothes as shown in picture 1.
Weaknesses:
She can't fly without gear.
She likes to drink a lot and is typically bordering on tipsy, which will counteract/compromise the efficiency of most of her powers.
Psychological Profile: Komand'r is an egotistical spoiled princess/queen who will do absolutely anything to get what she wants - typically just a fun night out. She only does this because she is ignorant of the lives around her. She acts casual towards any deviation she makes on the moral scale.
Biography: Komand'r is the oldest sibling of the Tamaranian royal family. Being a new princess, she should've been showered with praise. However, because of her inability to harness solar/ultraviolet energy, she was considered to be born with a disability and was not accepted as well as her siblings. This severely impacted her self esteem, which brought frustrations she began to release on her sister Koriand'r.
The planet Tamaran faced many attacks from other species such as the Citadel, the Gordanians, and the Blight. When their parents no longer had the energy to command an army, Komand'r always found a way to take charge and strategically protect the Tamaraneans from these invaders. However, during every attack, she would always sell or try to sell Koriand'r to the opposition as a peace offering, then attack when the opposition least expects it. Sometimes, selling Koriand'r wasn't even necessary, but she always managed to trick Koriand'r into being sold as bait, even just for laughs.
Koriand'r got tired of Komand'r's, "The end justifies the means" attitude and even more sick of getting sold to the opposition every time there was a war, so Koriand'r left to make a home on Earth, where she would make friends and support a moral system where the means could be just as good. Their younger brother also ended up following Koriand'r to Earth.
When it was time to pass on the title of queen, Komand'r had proven herself to be a good (excuse the pun) commander. She was also the only sibling left on the planet. Despite her physical shortcomings, she managed to become a great and inspiring leader. Though some are still upset with having a queen that cannot harness solar/ultraviolet energy, most citizens are content.
Every once in a while, when the kingdom isn't under any threat of attack and when there's no paperwork for Komand'r to do, she slips out of the planet in a small jet and heads towards Earth for a fun vacation. It typically includes sleeping with her sister's boyfriend, going out to nightclubs, and drinking. Crackdowns on illegal aliens (there goes another pun) and fake IDs made Komand'r a target to be detained and/or fined.
Attempting to handcuff her was tough and resulted in a lot of dropped bodies. After an overwhelming amount of skill shown by Komand'r as she took out officers trying to apprehend her for her petty crimes of using a fake ID for drinks, Amanda Waller promptly rose up to the challenge of detaining her and succeeded.
Waller, after realizing Komand'r's relation to a known superhero, decided not to let this opportunity go to waste. However, Komand'r makes it very clear that she can't provide her services for very long as she has a whole planet to attend to, along with the risk that Tamaraneans would go looking for their missing queen. It was then agreed upon that the nanite bomb inside Komand'r would be deactivated and removed upon the completion of the first mission, and that she would be awarded an official U.S. ID so she can drink anytime she comes to Earth. It's just easier to complete a couple missions than to fill out paperwork claiming that she's the queen of Tamaran.
But who really knows if Komand'r will only stay for the first mission? Waller isn't the type to keep promises...
Special Notes: Unlike the humans that dress like her, Komand'r actually enjoys American pop music.
