ok that image looked so much smaller resolution-wise in the thumbnail ;-;
Nah I ain't bothered by it, it's cool. I mean, if I got preemptively murdered before getting to 2-3 posts I'd be sorta' bothered, but I don't get the impression that's whats gonna go down. An early encounter could be good to get things driving forward, whether it be peaceful or a fight.

For the sake of clarity, I've marked the area I had in mind in [this map] with a red circle. Pardon the numbers, I couldn't figure out how (if you can) to get rid of the location things on hollow ataraxia so had to grab this off google images. It's probably partly my fault anyways since I said north of the temple in the post but it's more north-east.
Lú Qiūyuè
Sunday - February 19, 2012

Qiūyuè bows her thanks to the pickup truck as it starts back down the road. A hand waves out of the driver side window for a moment before becoming vaguely obscured by stray bits of dust kicked up by the vehicle. Qiūyuè comes to stand and turns towards the stairs leading up to Ryuudou Temple. As far as she's made aware, there's a collection of monks living and tending to the temple grounds and the townsfolk seem at least aware of this - a passerby in his pickup truck was more than happy to drop her off at the stairs. With a vague huff, she dusts off her robes before she produces a tourist pamphlet from her makeshift blanket-backpack.

Whilst hiding out in the temple was her best bet of avoiding detection by the other masters, or at least as far as she could see it, she didn't want to risk being caught. There might even be any monks there, but even then there could be so many that privacy may be almost forgotten. Ideally enough, the temple happened to be surrounded by a dense forest which should hopefully provide the concealment and missing resources she needs. With her quarterstaff in tow, acting as something of a walking stick to help with the climb, she sets off into the forest to the north of the temple.

After adding the last of the details to the summoning circle with her quarterstaff, Qiūyuè swiftly brings it up above her and sharply sends it off to her right to flick the excess dirt aside. The stage for the summoning is set: a large, intricate summoning circle is drawn meticulously into a cleared circle of dirt, with a mostly flat-topped stone sitting on one side and her blanket laid out and folded neatly on the other. As the final part of the preparation, she takes a curious piece of metal from her robe and gingerly sets it in the center of the mostly flat-topped rock. The metal is visibly old and plagued with rust and other deformities with sects having rotted away to reveal the internal construction, where it appears it was supposed to attach to something off. The pommel of an arming sword, formerly of the sword belonging to the honorable Baldwin IV.

After taking a deep breath in to steel herself and help her gather her thoughts, Qiūyuè steps around the circumference of the circle and comes to sit on her folded blanket; in a practiced set of movements she sits crosslegged and moves to lift her feet to rest atop the opposite leg before she brings her fingers to fold in her lap. After a final revision over the construction of the circle, she closes her eyes and take a firm breath in to announce:
"To the likes of the heroes, willing and able: hear me true, as a chosen of the grail." Some form of light comes to the circle although exactly how it looks is lost on her, with her eyes tightly closed.
"I declare: as a man of honor and good report, thy intentions are just and true.
"I propose: walk upon this Earth again so that I may entrust thy fate to thee.
"If thou would see my cause fit and just, then with the blessing of the holy grail,
"follow my calling and come to me."

Despite the light growing nigh-blinding and the very nature of the ritual itself, Qiūyuè remains calm and steadfast. For her, this is her ultimate and final trial. As far as she can see, she can not falter.

@Moonman
Yeah man, I'm down for that. That'd be siq.
@Hantu Kongkek
You know you actually totally have me there. I'll get to editing the backstory at some point.
Unless they evaded the authorities through the Shaolin Monastery or something.
@Unoedipal
I've made a bunch of edits if you have the time to flick over them and check if all's in order. Thanks for checking it over tho fam, fate lore continues to elude me no matter what I do.
I'm in particular a little unsure about healing. I've put in regeneration rate as I think it fits best but I'm not too sure.
Here we go~ I'm particularly unsure about the stats, the mystic code and magic so direction with that would be particularly appreciated if there's any for me, @Unoedipal.
Happy to edit anything~

Name: 盧秋月 (Lú Qiūyuè).

Title: 请问少室山 (Qǐngwèn shǎo shìshān) - Will of Shaoshi Mountain.

Gender: ♀ Female.

Age: 27 (Twenty-seven).

Personality: To the world, Qiūyuè the perfect Shaolin Monk: she's quiet, pragmatic, values meditation and prayer, holds the values of Chan Buddhism dear, disciplined, and incredibly driven and committed. She takes her office as the "Will of Shaoshi Mountain" incredibly seriously and puts it before herself in all things.
Secretly, Qiūyuè has a desire to be dependent and taken care of. For as long as she can remember she's been trained to grant the wish of the elder monks at the Shaolin Monastery and be capable of acting independently in said pursuit but she's yearns to be taken care of and for somebody to take responsibility for her as opposed to bearing responsibility for a prestigious monastery. She sees the Holy Grail War as her ultimate test and her reward for passing, if she does, as being able to settle down and rely on someone.

Biography: Qiūyuè was born as the first of three children and the fourth generation child of the Lú family, a family of hereditary Shaolin Monks holding significant influences with the Shaolin Monastery. After a rapid series of natural and man-made disasters that left the monastery in shambles at the time of the first generation, the head of the family at the time announced that they would take up the burden restoring the monastery to its former prosperity through the Holy Grail War and such became the primary purpose of every family head since. As the first-born child, Qiūyuè became the heir apparent to the title 'head of the family'.

As is the established tradition in the family, Qiūyuè began relentlessly training as soon as possible while searching for the signs of a resurrection of the Fuyuki Holy Grail Wars. She assumed full command of the family at 18 years of age where her father abdicted the position to her and passed on the family crest, and went on to take up her duties whilst continuing her preparation. Despite one of her duties being to birth children in case the Holy Grail War isn't to return for another generation, she stubbornly views the Holy Grail War as her ultimate test and outright rejects the idea of raising children until she's either done or turns 40.

When the announcement came that the Holy Grail Wars had returned, Qiūyuè took the catalyst held by the family for such an event and immediately departed for Fuyuki despite lacking a command seal with the intention of securing herself one through action and presence. Luckily enough, she happened to get one.

Family History: The Lú family is a small lineage of magus within the Shaolin Monastery. The family is three generations long, with Qiūyuè being the forth generation; this holds significance due to the number 4's association to death in Chinese culture, and the elder monks are concerned that this is an omen of a bad outcome.

The family, to the well researched, is also known to favor heals and buffs as opposed to offensive magic in combat, whether it be on themselves in a direct role or on others in a supporting role.

Origin: Purpose.

Elemental Affinity: Wind.

Number of Magic Circuits: D.

Quality of Magic Circuits: B.

Od: B.

Magecraft: Healing: The ability to heal a living organism by increasing the rate of natural regeneration. The spell is capable of addressing a wide variety of injuries and conditions at a figurative 1:1:1 cost of progress to time to mana; for example, a simple wound could be easily addressed rather quickly whereas a mortal injury would require a series of prolonged sessions plus traditional recovery aids, such as rest and food, to recover from. Minor wounds and he healed at moderate range but more serious injuries require near-direct contact. This spell is featured in the families magic crest.

Resistance Defense: The ability to 'plate' surface areas, animate or inanimate, with defensive 'covers' capable of eliminating or reducing the impacts of attacks. In reality, the plates are focused sections of air pressing outwards to create wind resistance sufficient of simulating the effects of armor. The spell uses a figurative 1:1 ratio of protected surface area to mana on the caster and 0.25:1 of protected surface area on others and requires a four-count chant to cast. The spell is often used as armor and to enhance the ability of weapons, such as allowing a wooden quarterstaff to block attacks from much more menacing weapons. This spell is featured in the families magic crest.

Air Synchronization: A spell that enhances the ability of the target by having the air move around and against them in a visible and significant manner as to increase their speed and agility, in particular aerial agility. An effective magus can use this to 'glide' as long as they can support. The spell is toggled and consumes mana relative to how long it's enabled. This spell is featured in the families magic crest.

Resistance Offense: An offensive attack using dense sections of air violently surging in one direction to inflict blunt trauma. Resistance Offense is Qiūyuè's personal adaption of Resistance Defense. The spell can be cast from any solid surface within moderate range and consumes the same amount of mana regardless. Uses for this spell include enhancing the power of an attack from either the caster or another combatants weapon and casting it from walls, roofs and floors to use the terrain to fight an enemy. The spell requires a two-count chant to be successfully casted.

Equipment: [Quarterstaff (Amplifier Mystic Code)] - A fairly plain stained quarterstaff, rarely concealed due to its large size. In reality, the quarterstaff is an amplifier mystic code for Resistance Defense, as to enable it to more effectively be able to block or parry much more menacing weapons, and acts as her badge of office as the "Will of Shaoshi Mountain".
[Shaolin Monastery Prayer Beads] - A set of stained wooden prayer beads with various accents, such as lengths of hanging yarn, beads and polished stones. Used solely for meditation and prayer.
[Red Woolen Blanket] - A nondescript red woolen blanket. It sees a variety of uses such as warmth, comfortable meditation and a makeshift backpack.

Skills: Discipline, unarmed combat, quarterstaff combat, gardening, meditation, prayer, traditional Chinise cooking and being able to sleep in the lotus position.
After a mistake of spectacular proportions, I've managed to lose a mostly completed character sheet. I'll try to get it rewritten later today after work.
Hey uh, I had a look over the Characters tab but just wanted to check in first to make sure, are there any vacancies at the moment? Looks like Servants are pretty booked but I have a few concepts for a master.
