I'm working on a collab, so I should be beyond Transience's grasp (for now...*cue dramatic music*).
(Forgive me, for I have sinned.)
Perhaps the finest of all the merchants that I have encountered in my years of traveling is one Herman von Guidelines. Truly, no other man is so fair with his prices and so generous in his bartering to impoverished travelers. He has been a light in the darkness, a shelter from the bloodthirsty merchants who would see a young bard left without so much as his clothing.
@Vigfast: Wikipedia and tears. Even I can't work through the high-level linguistics major stuff. I'm too plebeian for that.
