Quick question. Can I get a date here? 1720? 1730? When is this taking place?

1770~

Might do 1773 so there is exactly ten years passed since the end of the Seven Years War, which'll probably be when this coldness event starts.

Well, which ones are we talking about? Prussia would have to move, Austria-Hungary would be pretty much fine, if a bit chilly, from what I could see on the map.

How would Vienna fair? Since the encroaching cold would freeze up the Alps.

@Vilageidiotx

Very well. You still need a sample of my text? Will you want it to be, from me as usual. Or how I would portray said character?

From character. I'm not worried about what level you are writing about or what your prose looks like, I just want to make sure the time period looks right.

And believe me, I'm not a crazy stickler. I'm mostly just worried about glaring errors, not nit-picky things. Just a paragraph or something that fills in enough info.
@Vilageidiotx

Got it. Where shall it take place. Or where shall we have a place where we can all interact with eachother?

Probably the Americas. I think we could get away with that broad a base for a character RP because, although it is a vast world, there is a limited number of urban areas and settled places. Everything north of, say, the Mason Dixon line will be largely depopulated from the cold, as will most of what is south of Brazil, so that further shrinks the RP area to more or less the center. I'd let people visit other places (so if you are a pirate there won't be some invisible wall keeping you from hunting in African waters. Your character will just need to hang their hat in the western hemisphere).

@Vilageidiotx

How will we run this? Nation-states like or character interaction based?

Character interaction based. There will be a political aspect to it, but I don't necessarily want to do a pure nation-RP, in the sense that just because I am RPing George III doesn't mean I now control everything about that faction. If somebody joined as Prime Minister they'd be able to RP their character freely and only dependent on me so far as a Prime Minister is dependent on his King.

That being said, if you are the only Portuguese RPer, you'll have a pretty broad mandate. Like, I'm not going to force everybody to wait for complete political systems worth of RPers.
How powerful would Gaia be in Hinduism?

I don't understand the question. How powerful would the Greek Gaia be if dropped into Hinduism, or how powerful is the Gaia equivalent in Hinduism?

And Hinduism is pretty complex. I think the answer to either changes depending on what variation of Hindu you are.
@Vilageidiotx

So?

I hit reply too quick. Look up, I filled in the info.
If we're going to do legit historical characters then I've got to try Alexander Hamilton.

Go for it. If anybody here can pull it off it'll be you.

Okay, so I might be a Hessian in service to the British Crown, a Royal Society Member, and I'm going to leave the last slot open, just in case.

That'll work. We should figure out where exactly the Germans end up because, unlike Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, or even the Netherlands, there isn't really a colonial possession for them to run to.

@Vilageidiotx

Could I play as Maria I of Portugal? I'd get to rule over Brazil in that case.

We'll probably be starting before her historical reign, but you could kill off her predecessor in an alt-history sense so she starts early.

Also, I was thinking for myself taking up George III in his new court in Charleston, and General John Burgoyne leading a force to expel natives on the frontier. Don't have an idea for the third character.
