Right, so the first IC scene will involve the group being split. Some of the students will be coming back from an out of state trip to Oklahoma when something dire will occur, then the remaining students will arrive to save em.Who wants to be where?

I'm going to have Will be on the trip if that's alright.

Name: Will Helena Carson.
Age: Twenty.
Gender: Born female. She isn’t concerned with pronouns.

Mutation: Geokinesis – The power to manipulate the earth at her will. While still in the midst of discovering the overall potential of her powers, her capabilities are at their minimum. As of now, Will struggles with otherwise using her mind instead of her hands, and gradually increasing the amount of damage created.

Personality: Over the years, Will has grown to be exceptionally strong. She holds herself rather independently and has the mentality that if no one fucks with her, she won’t fuck with them. While this attitude has proved to lead a lonely life, living in her own secluded world is what’s easiest for Will. Choosing to stay away from others and do what needs to be done rather than get involved further than what is necessary or advised is what Will has adapted to.

Will is, so to speak, an old soul, but she has the potential of being a large dumb ass when it comes to other’s emotions. With this in mind, being sociable isn’t one of her strong suits, nor is trusting anyone other than herself. Her idea of survival is strictly that of food, shelter, clothing, vodka, and sex. She’s a very simple-living person, but holds a very complex mind. One that takes both time and effort to delve deep into.

Not that Will would give anyone the opportunity anyway.

History: Will Carson was born into a loving Catholic family consisting of a stay-at-home mother, a wealthy and otherwise well-rounded father, an older and much more enlightening older brother by the name of Tristan, and a younger but also quite knowledgeable brother the family nicknamed Bet (full name Beckett). Although Will was the middle child, it can be said that she was treated more as the youngest, being the only daughter of the three.

Will, although respectively treated as a girl, did not understand that she was one. While her mother so eagerly attempted to put her daughter into dresses and brought the gift of Barbie dolls, it was evident that the toddler was not at all interested in such things. Seeing her older brother play video games and fight off bad guys with his action figures intrigued her, bringing her to play along with him.

Though her mother worried, her father ensured her that it was nothing but a phase. Despite having not been convinced by such reassuring words, the birth of her younger brother Bet bought Will some time to further understand her liking of boy things. Will began dressing like that of her older brothers around the age of five, when her older brother could no longer fit in them. It was during this time that her mother finally began to see the progression of Will’s behavior, and further insisted that she wear and act as a girl.

Will, under the surveillance of her mother, was forced to wear uncomfortable dresses, skirts, and floral tops when attending school. However, while this upset Will beyond belief, there was still something that her mother couldn’t take away from her, and that was recess. Out in the back with all the other kids allowed Will to partake in boy activities such as football, racing, and tag. On numerous occasions, the boy’s forbid her from playing, but this did not prevent her from entering the game on her own account anyhow.

In due time, Will became a valued asset to every game played, as she was both fast, agile, and tough. Perhaps the only issue to this was the fact that she went home with ripped and mud-caked clothes. This upset her mother, and with this anger, she brought her brothers to promise that they would not allow Will to play with boys. Her brothers, of course, envied their sister to an extent, as she was fed attention from both parents that they simply couldn’t receive. With this in mind, both brothers made an effort to keep Will out of all games, informing the other boys of her class that she had ‘cooties’ given to her by the other girls.

Will was shunned out from both befriending any of the boys and playing with them. All of her friends began to resent her and all recesses were spent with her sitting on the sides, watching the boys from a far distance.

After several years, middle school came around, and these years were spent with Will questioning who she was and why she did not feel the same attraction the other girls held toward the boys in school. Nearly every conversation throughout her dreadful school day would revolve around the sole topic of a boy none of them could have and the hatred they had for the girl who was dating him during that week. Each then led to her, with her friends asking of who her crush was, only to avert back to them, as Will never had an answer.

During her last year of middle school, she grew very close to a girl by the name of Angela, who she spent a majority of her days with. Will felt an attraction towards this girl, more so than anyone she’d ever been around. It was Angela that stole her first kiss, and it was Angela that brought Will to realize who she was and why she’d never had crushes on guys before. Angela, prior to the kiss, had shared a devastating secret of being what she called ‘bi-sexual’, which she explained to be an attraction towards both girls and boys.

Will found herself wondering if there was such a term that was used for a girl that was attracted only to other girls. According to Angela, those girls were called ‘lesbians’. Finding this to be both strange and exciting, as she’d finally discovered who she was, she shared the news with her mother, telling her blatantly, “Mom, I think I’m a lesbian.”

The girl had not come to see her mistake until much later – when her mother removed her from public school and home schooled her for two years. Will was not only given homework related to school, but homework brought her attention to the bible. These two dreadful years were spent with her being lectured on homosexuality and the very thought of it being a sin. With the words of her mother, Will had begun to believe that her whole life was a sin, and her very existence was a mistake that God had forgotten to overlook.

At age fifteen, Will tried to take her life. She did not succeed, as her Bet stopped her before she was given the opportunity, and after a lengthy conversation between the two, Will finally began to accept her sexuality, and demanded to be put in public school. Her mother was reluctant to doing so, as she was afraid of her daughter being exposed to other homosexual tendencies, but Will threatened both parents that if she was not put in public school, she would run away and never return. Neither one took the chance, as Will was not one to bluff, and enrolled her in the public high school her older brother attended.

There, Will was not only accepted, but played two years of basketball. Her mother, of course, did not come to fully acknowledge her daughter’s wishes, but did not take them away either. At the end of the girl’s senior year, she developed her abilities, having thrown a rock into the water only for other rocks to follow, all under the control of her palm.

As her powers grew by the day, Will knew she could not stay with her parents. Denying the scholarship at the college of her dreams, Will fled town after graduation in her mustang, with a handful of cash she’d saved up from allowances. Using this money, Will drove as far away from home as she could possibly go, coming about a small city in Arizona. Here, she conjured up enough to rent a shitty apartment, and found a job at a bowling rink.

For two years Will lived here, bidding her time to drugs, alcohol, and sex. She wasted away her days working and spent her nights partying. It was a cycle that did not come to a halt until a certain letter was received inviting her to join a group of what the person referred to as ‘mutants’. After several days of contemplating her options, Will decided to head for New Mexico, where she was welcomed by a young and beautiful X.

Other: She likes the ladies.

Here.
Interested. In the midst of making a bio. (:

I'm just going to put my interest here.

I see that you were only taking a limited amount of people, and unfortunately for me, that number had already been reached. However, on the off chance that one does not show, and you find yourself with an open spot, I'd be more than happy to join. (:
Spencer

Today had been a busy one for Spencer O’Connor. There was hardly a moment where Spencer wasn’t shouting coffee orders or fumbling to prepare drinks. The smell of vanilla and hazelnut filled the air as Spencer clawed her way to the sink, scrubbing out past substances and preparing it for a vanilla bean frap. Spencer dowsed the beverage with whipped cream and topped it with a lid, whisking a straw from the container before the woman could manage to ask. She thanked Spencer, to which she nodded curtly, bustling about until her lunch break which came to be a measly fifteen minutes.

Removing her apron, Spencer sighed heavily. “I’ll be back,” she told a coworker, one she doubted even knew her name. Bolting out of the coffee shop, Spencer headed for one of the empty tables set for two, restlessly slumping into the chair farthest from the door. Rummaging through her pockets, she revealed a battered pack of Marlboro and a thin lighter. Her fingers shaking, she lit the cigarette and took a drag, releasing the smoke as it gradually tickled the back of her throat.

Craning her neck, Spencer gazed at the clouds loomed over her and the rest of New York, threatening to storm on this beautiful afternoon. Spencer furrowed her eyebrows and put the cigarette to her lips, breathing in the smoke only to exhale it into the luminous sky, where it floated through the—

“Is anyone sitting here?”

Wincing, Spencer retracted, pulling herself upright with her widened eyes on that of another girl’s. She was smiling wryly at Spencer, her hands perched on the base of her bag, her posture tense as if she were prepared for Spencer to say no. She didn’t, however, for reasons unknown, as both girls stared at one another, utterly entranced.
Swallowing, Spencer shook her head. “Um, no, why – do you need the chair?” A stupid question on her part. If she’d needed the chair, she’d be standing, leaning the object in her direction ready to take it. But instead she was sitting, relaxing a bit as she raised the strap of her purse over her head to drop it directly at her feet. She was preparing to stay.

The girl laughed. Soft and light. “No, I was actually hoping I could sit with you.”

She cocked her head. “Sit with me,” she repeated, replaying the words over and over in her mind. Was this girl planning to embarrass her? If so, Spencer was capable of doing that all on her own. So, if that wasn’t the case, what did she want? She couldn’t possibly wish to just sit here with her. That would be preposterous.

The girl nodded. “Is that… okay?” she asked gingerly, tucking brown curls behind her ear. She had a single piercing in either ear, plus a cartilage in the left. She was beautiful, this girl, with brown hair that draped over her chest, a cute nose that dipped just at the very end, piercing blue eyes, and a smile that curled, creating dimples. She was a sucker for dimples.

“Uh, yeah, yeah, that’s okay.”

“I’m Zoe,” she told her, placing her hands on the table.

“Spencer,” she responded.

“Do you, ah,” she said, motioning to the building, “work here?”

“I do.” She pointed wearily at the Starbucks. “Right there.”

“So you’re local, huh? What school do you attend?” Spencer hadn’t even realized she smoked, as she, too, began to pull out cigarettes. She had camel, though, and had also forgotten a lighter. Spencer offered her lighter and the girl puffed smoke. Spencer tightened her jaw.

“Xavier,” she replied halfheartedly, to which the girl’s face brightened.

“What? That’s so cool! I wanted to go there, but I heard it’s pretty difficult to get in. You have to be invited or something. How’s the campus?”

Spencer ran her fingers through her hair, uncertain of how much information she was permitted to tell about her school. Even if the questions were quite vague, she didn’t want to risk being expelled for a rule she hadn’t even been informed on. So Spencer said, “It’s alright. I, uh, I have to get back to work…”

The girl – Zoe – made a bit of a pouty face, her shoulders dropping as her eyes saddened. “Aw. Damn, that sucks… Well, before you go.” Grabbing her purse, Zoe pulled out an old receipt and a pencil, scrawling on what appeared to be a number. Handing it to Spencer, Zoe pulled the girl into a hug as if they’d known each other for a while, kissed her cheek, and whispered, “Call me sometime, okay?”

Then she was gone.

Spencer was awestruck. The rest of the day went by in a blur, and before she knew it, she was climbing into her car heading home. She wanted to tell Mila about this strange encounter (considering she was practically her only friend) but she wasn’t anywhere to be found. She figured she’d probably be in her room, but Spencer didn’t want to disturb her if she was sleeping.

After all, this was the day before that stupid group building thing, or whatever the fuck they called it. She thought that seeing as she was over the age of eighteen, she was entitled to say no if she didn’t want to attend, but supposedly it was mandatory. Not that it mattered much to Spencer. At least Mila would be there.
