I've been lurking around, thinking about making a character. Can't decide on what kind of abilities to give mine. ><

Either seems fine. The personification of the seven deadly sins sound awesome too.Maybe you could also include any mythical creature and just label them as demons. Making use of lore from other countries would be cool too; you know, something like the Yokais from Japan.

Ahaha, I'm GMing an RP where I'm doing exactly that. Using yokais. Japanese folklore is so interesting. ^^

Would we have to be students at the school, cause I've been wanting to try doing a teachers role, also would only humans be in the school or are you wanting other races in it

I'm not sure if I want to set the RP in a school or just a coven/group of witches.
If we do a school, I'm thinking it would be kind of like Soul Eater. Instead of meisters and weapons, we could have witches and familiars, taking up missions, training to fight against demons and stuff. This would be a big group, with teachers, familiars and witches, perhaps even demons as playable characters.
If we do a coven, it'd be more close-knit. Perhaps having higher ranked witches as mentors, with one Grand Witch to watch over the coven and a Council that enforces rules and restrictions on the community. This would have only witches and demons as playable characters.
I like both ideas and can't decide. ><

As for races, the witches would be human. Demons could be anything.
Hmm, I like your ideas. It'd be set it in a modern, fictional city similar to New York, because I have no idea about New York/Tokyo. XD

Maybe label it "witchcraft" but the general scope would be vast. Shamanism, voodoo, exorcism, and magic could be considered various styles.

I was thinking similarly. ^^

(solely because I enjoy real life "faceclaims"/appearances more than anime and I'm not really aware of the asian celebrities of the world!)

I'm the opposite. >< Perhaps I'll allow descriptions in appearances only.

Should the 'demons' be other supernatural beings? Like vampires, werewolves etc. Or should they be different ranks of demons of the same type? Like, maybe low-level demons would be winged creatures that just cause some trouble and higher level ones would be ones who look more like humans, perhaps personifications of the seven deadly sins, and then there would be a 'Demon King' ruling them all.

Naw, s'okay tho. Viridian, do you wanna do a combined post later and get rid of the Rabisu in one fell swoop? Or not, just thought that it would make it easier.

Hmm~ I was planning to bring in Capello. xD

Angel, is that dome impenetrable or making Kimiko unable to help?

EDIT: It doubleposted and I'm a noob to the new forums so I'm unsure of how to delete it.. Apologies.

Happens a lot believe me. And you can't delete posts unfortunately.

If we go with one, we'll have to come up with classes of demons, what kind of powers should witches have, what the setting should be... Any suggestions, guys? :)
So, I have several not-fully-formed ideas that I'd like to roleplay. I can't choose one, so I wanted to see which one gathers most interest and then I'll go from there. I'll need help developing them more, so if you have ideas, let me know! ^^

1. Witch's Coven - This one would be centered around a coven of witches (maybe an academy?). There is a sudden rise in demon attacks all over the country and the coven has to fight them and figure out what is causing this. Perhaps a portal has been opened up by a corrupt warlock and they have to close it. Players would be able to RP as either a (human) witch or a demon.

2. The Conspiracy - An organization has developed a miracle vaccine, one that protects you from all diseases. However, it seems that once people have taken the vaccine, they...change. They lose their individuality and free will. They lose their memories, forgetting loved ones and behaving like mindless robots, existing solely for the development of the country. This has decreased war and crime, but is it worth it? You would be one of the few who chose not to partake in the 'mandatory' vaccination program or perhaps it simply didn't work on you. However, the organization is rounding up those who haven't taken the vaccine, and it would only be a matter of time before you are discovered. You've heard of a faction operating in the shadows to overthrow the organization. Will you seek them out or will you survive on your own?

3. School for Delinquents - (insert name here) High School is pretty well-known. No, it's not because it has state-of-the-art facilities, brilliant students or an amazing campus. It's famous for its students, or more specifically, the delinquents. With its lax rules on discipline, it had somehow gathered quite a number of students who weren't exactly upstanding citizens. Most of them had some sort of record, be it thieving, assault, possession of narcotics or just simply really bad grades. However, with a new Principal, there has been a recent change in rules in hopes of improving the school's reputation. A student breaking any of these rules would be kicked out and possibly sent to juvenile detention depending on the severity of the crime. A new 'buddy system' has also been enforced to help the students. In each class, the top students are paired with the delinquents to be their mentor and tutor in hopes of helping them to change their ways. Will this system really work? Or was this a completely harebrained idea by the new, eccentric Principal?

I would be more active but I haven't really felt all that good recently and I have a book report due tomorrow. I might see about seeking another post in today after I finish my book report, but don't be to surprised if I just fall asleep before then and possibility leave the guild up.

Aw, hope you feel better. *sends cookies*

That. Is. Adorable. Also he's dressed like Kaito, I'm going to need to make a vocaloid reference in a post now...

Thanks. :3

It is something he'd do and his reaction to said call would be legendary.Plus he's not doing anything else right now.
EDIT: also thanks! It took me several years before settling on this style, and it's actually a huge departure from what I originally had. This is infinitely more satisfying to me though. You'll get it, no fear. Don't necessarily steal, but definitely cannibalize from other artists. I could literally name the specific techniques for drawing parts from each artist I look up to. NOW DRAW FOR MEEE!

Hehe, I'll do that in my next post. :3

And here! I usually draw on my intuos, but I recently figured out how to enable pressure sensitivity on my dad's old asus slate, so I decided to try it out with a simple drawing. :D

"Oh, it's Capello. I'm sure you'll meet him sometime. He pops up when you least expect it," Kimiko replied to Gin as she finished her sushi and soup. She sighed contentedly, her mood having improved after satisfying her hunger. She sat back and wondered what she was going to do the rest of the day. Perhaps she would go for a swim. It had certainly been a while since she'd visited the pool.

She focused on Gin when she started asking a question, but the kitsune stopped talking and left in a hurry, rambling about investigating something. Kimiko could simply blink in confusion, staring at the empty chair before her in bewilderment. What happened? I didn't notice anything, she wondered as she paid her bill and walked out of the restaurant, looking around for the younger girl. Maybe her ears picked up something. She can't have gone far... She stood in front of the entrance, having no idea where to look. Just as she was about to give up and go back to Primrose, Gin materialized in front of her, making her yelp back in surprise. "Gin, what-" Kimiko stopped when she realized that it wasn't really her, her eyes widening when she heard the message.

This isn't a prank...is it? she questioned herself as she walked in a random direction, looking for the troubled kitsune. Gin, or rather her illusion, had looked terribly frightened and it would be cruel if it really turned out to be a joke. Besides, thought Kimiko, If this turns out to be a joke, I'll make sure she'll really be in trouble.

She didn't have to walk too far when she noticed a figure crouched behind a dumpster in one of the alleyways. "Gin?" she called as she walked towards her, the danger lurking in the shadows going unnoticed by her. The hairs on the back of her neck prickled as she got closer and she looked up, her blue eyes falling on the creature above.

The reaction was immediate. In the blink of an eye, Kimiko reverted to her true form, holding her violet umbrella over Gin and herself as a shield. "Gin! Get a hold of yourself. We need to get out of here!" she cried, her golden eyes glowing with determination as a thick mist started to form around them.

I didn't wanna set up my scanner, it takes f*cking forever...

Also, can't wait to see how these two survive this incident, since there is no feasible way for any of the bodyguards to stumble upon them or even detect that something is wrong.

I really like your unique style. I'm still trying to discover my own instead of copying other artists, but I haven't found something that sticks. :(

I have half a mind to call Capello. :P I feel like Capello would be in Kimiko's contacts (perhaps he had stolen her phone and saved his number there at one point). Hmm~
