Oh, hey peeps! I'm currently out of town so I'm late to the party. I also live in South-East Asia so the time difference means I'll be on at odd times for you guys.

Anyway, you can call me Viridian or Hue or whatever variation of my username you'd like. I started RPing on Gaia Online when I was 15 and migrated here a few years later. I'm an engineering student with little time on my hands but I try to make time for rping atleast once a day if I'm in a group. So... I hope you guys don't lose patience with me. *nervous laughter* ><

Maya

Name: Maya Singh

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Appearance: Caramel colored skin tattooed with henna designs and pierced ears peeking out from under her long black hair, Maya stands out in a crowd. Her daily attire consists of modern, form-hugging clothes, accentuated by purple hues with knee-high boots adorning her legs and finger-less gloves covering her hands. She stands at a petite 5'4'' with striking emerald eyes and full lips that always seem to be pulled up into a smile. Don't let her seemingly harmless appearance fool you however, for she can throw a mean punch.

Personality: Maya relies on her instincts. She does whatever seems like the right thing to do, depending on how it affects her. If she sees that something is in her best interest, she will do it, even if it seems unethical. She is indifferent when it comes to deciding what's 'right' or what's 'wrong', making decisions with an unbiased heart. However, that does not mean she will commit heinous crimes. She has her own set of principles that she follows. While she comes across as being friendly, she will keep them at a distance and does not trust anyone easily. Over the years, she has met many people but few she can call friends.

Motive: Diagnosed with a chronic illness when she was a child, Maya hated being weak and felt like a burden on her family. When she was of age, she volunteered for the program in hopes of curing her illness. The strange abilities that came with the cure were merely a side-effect, but weren't unwelcome, as she embraced her new-found independence.

Ability: Matter Absorption: Maya can absorb the properties of solid materials, transmuting herself into a living form of whatever material she has absorbed and subsequently uses it to proportionately increase her physical strength and durability. Depending on the amount of the absorbed material Maya has available, and how she distributes it, she can either coat her body, or part of it, in the material as a second skin-like armor, or completely convert her body into a living version of the material.

She is rather impatient and restless, always seen fidgeting with something or the other.
Has a fondness for small, furry animals.
Doesn't care for weapons, and relies on melee attacks and using her physical strength.

Also what would happen if ViridianHue's character tried to take property of liquid material, OR what if part of the solid material was at a melting point?. Hmmm

Hmm, I actually haven't thought about that. Perhaps her abilities will only be limited to solid materials or maybe she takes on liquid properties as a defensive/escape mechanism. ~.~
