@The Wyrm Yes, it'll basically be a small timeskip of a few weeks.
Okay, I've added more detail to the magic system with the help of @Brocktree. Hopefully what I've added clarifies some things about magic in this RP.

I've started working on the next IC post, which will end the training arc after everyone's responses to it. I'm aiming to post this around Wednesday, so everyone can hopefully get their ICs in for @Not Fishing's post. Let me know if this is too soon, as I don't want to rush anything but at the same time want to keep a steady pace for the IC.
@The Wyrm Yes, though it is very rare outside the nobility. The biggest teller would be if he can understand sigil-work or not without a formal education -- often times those with potent drastikos have a predisposition to reading sigils and magical workings.
@VoiD

Since i seem to be our only magic user, i was hoping youd go a little in depth on its theoretical and practical applications for me. Is it an exact rip of SOI/GOI or?

I have an outline of ideas that I've slowly been turning into a document, I'll send it your way when it's done (~few hours from now or tomorrow night).
Subbed!
@Not Fishing The other NCOs are NPCs for the moment, so if you feel like creating characters sure. Otherwise I was just going to create them when necessary. Really, the NPCs are there just to give everyone a bit of flexibility when they want to do something in the rp, and for my ever-expanding gm cast of characters.
@VoiD Correct me if I'm wrong but in the lore tab I believe you stated that officers have undergone training so this part to the officers would then be teaching?

Yes, this is that training. If your character was already in the dragoons before the present time in the rp they would have already gone through this training.
I didn't want to say anything but I've always thought most of the fun in forum rp comes from posting reactively, and collabs quickly can get out of hand with more than two people contributing.
@Not Fishing Nope, you decide who gets assigned to what. You've been allocated troops and a senior NCO, the rest is up to your discretion. Naturally it'd be best for you to take input from your fellow players but ultimately I'm giving you free reign for this part.
@The Wyrm Dragoon carbines are rifled but naturally much shorter than a typical infantry rifle. They use a fulminate primer percussion system, but since percussion caps haven't been invented yet the difference between a Flint lock system is somewhat negligible.

Edit: Standard issue carbines are similar to this.
