Say, do any of you guys have a PS4? I could really use some back up on BF4 and War Thunder.
Those were some good links Nosoul, I especially like the long sword one. It was cool that they actually went at full speed unlike all the others.

Ahh, brings back memories of my time with a Belegarth group. I was pretty handy with a longsword too if I do say so myself.
:p
Roflol, oh god, I love Red vs Blue. It's still funny after all these years.
Thanks for the links, I'll check them out, and the Talwar video is the one I found actually.

Also, I was having some shower thoughts and realized that the argument could be made that the higher tier weapons like Blade's greatsword and Cub's hammer would actually be lighter than their steel counter parts. The main reason weapons are heavier in Skyrim is because the weapon does more damage. It's a balancing mechanic. But in reality a heavier weapon in its class is actually an inferior one. And we don't use a damage system so it's pointless to use that mechanic. Seeing as Blade's sword was made by the Dwemer in whatever alternate reality they were in, it makes more sense that his weapon would be made of some kind of light weight but durable alloy as opposed to a metal that's technically inferior than steel.
Omg Hank, I just noticed the text beneath Batman's srs face. I lawled.
I was actually taking the possible mass variables into account when making my estimates. I figure the alternate materials can't be that much heavier than steel otherwise they wouldn't make very good weapons. What's the point of having an ultra sharp weapon if the wielder has to be TEH AHNOLD to use it effectively?

And I'm going to say no on the balance thing, or that it has minimal effect. Mainly because I'm fairly certain that lizards don't rely on their tails for balance as much as swimming. When comparing a lizard's tail to a cat's or dog's or most other tailed animals for that matter, it's not nearly as... pliable? Maneuverable? It pretty much just moves from side to side unlike mammal tails which move all different directions. Plus, he still has most of it. Just the tip is gone. And thank you! I do love my extravagant action scenes.

No I haven't heard of those techniques. I just started digging deeper into the history of martial combat recently. But I'll look them up. I actually watched a few videos on scimitar techniques to get an idea of how the Alikir might be fighting as well.
Well first off, ditch the in game weight because that is ludicrous. Even if a person could swing a 20 pound weapon effectively, it would be a complete waste of energy. A more realistic estimate for the greatswords us midgets are using would be no more than 8-9 lbs, if we're feeling generous. A Scottish claymore for example, was typically just 6-7 lbs. Taking Cub's unique stature into account, a more realistic weight for his hammer would be no more than 15 lbs.

But to answer the question, yes, Vendel and Blade likely could use Cub's weapon and still be effective with it. But it would be highly inefficient and they would burn through energy a lot faster, especially considering the inherent balance problems with club weapons. If they absolutely had no other choice but to use Cub's hammer, their best strategy would be to pulp the first guy they see and then take that dude's weapon.

If you still need another guy, Henrik's up. Reckon he and Mark would make a pretty no-nonsense team, if Voltaire is down for this as well.

Fine by me. I feel sorry for anyone who tries to stop us, but there's gonna be a lot of tension between the two. Mark's already revealed what he thinks of Henrik's methods. :p
He'll be none too pleased with the viking throwing bullet riddled monkey wrenches into his perfectly laid plans.
Well I kind of thought we were waiting for Mosis to get something in.
Hmm, I'll take that job. Sounds like Mark's kind of mission. We could even say that Aran provided info for Mark on a few occasions seeing as Sleuth is exactly the kind of person Mark would have gotten in contact with working freelance jobs.
