Not bad.

So here's the thing: I wait another week for Ayden or Ampharos (or both) to post. If neither of them posts within that time, I look around for who's interested and restart the game if I find enough people.
That's good news. I really don't want to have to start over if I can help it. :P That being said I hope we can pick the pace up if this lives.

So, post? Or, feel free to ask questions if anything is unclear.
Well, this is annoying. Three out of four players disappeared, and the fourth can't be bothered to post. I suppose this fulfills my conditions for "dead".

That said, I recall there was a number of other people who were interested in this. If enough of them are still interested - and if they can guarantee that they won't disappear with little or no warning like this, and will be able to post once a week at the very least (I'd prefer more often, but I'll take what I can get) - then I'll simply reboot this with new characters.
I suppose at this rate we'll likely continue when SonofJET returns.
So, how is it going?
Alright, this is how it's going to work.

You write what your character is going to try to do in IC, tell me what Ability you're planning to use (or else ask me to pick, I suppose), and also what Augment you want to use if any (I reserve the right to veto it if it doesn't seem appropriate for whichever reason). You also make the necessary roll(s) in Invisible Castle (remember, it's always just 1d20) and add the link(s) to your post. Then I will roll for the Resistance and narrate the outcome.

Any questions about the game process? Feel free to ask them here or by PM.

Any questions about the battlefield situation as a whole? I suggest you ask them here.

I'm really hoping we'll be able to pick up pace here, since dragging out combat is, well, horrible. If you have any ideas on speeding things up, I'd be completely open. Remember, I really don't need anything too fancy, though flavour is always welcome; I'd gladly settle for basic cut and dry descriptions of what your character is going to try and do.
Combat Theme 1

Without further ado, the four of you move out, guided by the maps helpfully uploaded to your respective omnitools. An automated skycar taxi is already waiting for you just outside the middle class district; quickly and quietly, it takes you down, past the neon lights and the loud music, into the dark depths of the station’s slums.

Upon your arrival at what in better times must have been a transit station, Moss splits away from the rest of the group and heads for the maintenance tunnel. Locating a small, barely noticeable door that must not have gotten much use lately, he tries to open it – but it would not budge. Grunting savagely, the vorcha begins to emit a blue light as he calls upon his biotic powers to help him pry the door open…

…and easily drags its two sides away from each other, disappearing in the darkness beyond.

The rest of you proceed to the Blue Suns checkpoint. Aparakis’ schematics did not lie: it is a large, square room, brightly lit and relatively clean (as compared to the room you just came out of), with loading equipment and crates providing considerable cover – at least in the side of the room that’s nearer to you. The farther half of the room is more wide open, except for the barricades erected by the mercenaries. There is a wide passage leading deeper into the warehouse section of the district and guarded by half a dozen Blue Suns mercs in their blue and white armour (mostly turian or batarian). There is also a staircase leading to an upper section, which is connected to the balcony that provides a wonderful vantage point from which to cover most of the room except for the area immediately underneath it and the cover provided by the bigger crates. There you can see three Blue Suns: a turian and two humans. The turian appears to be a Centurion – a field commander; at least one of the humans seems to be a sniper.

Even with their superior positioning, nine seems like awfully few people for guarding the entrance to a district. Perhaps Moss has already started his work? He hasn’t reported in if so, though. Or maybe the Blue Suns are just woefully understaffed in this district, which, considering its low importance, would be entirely understandable…
Forgot your quote marks, I think. :P

Okay, SonofJET? If you don't have the time to make a post, just say you're ready to move on and we'll move on.
Okay, let's try and wrap up the planning, shall we?

Ayden, is Vayex ready to try and go in shooting against the Blue Suns? There are no other immediately apparent alternatives, but with a distraction and element of surprise it should probably be doable. That said if you have any other plans to give you an additional edge, that would be interesting to hear.

SonofJET, does Ruav'Tor accept the offered plan?
I confess I'm not that good at DnD of any sort. That being said, if I still decide to play I'd be most interested in Campaign 2.
