@Demon Shinobi I didn't notice that Rei was a delinquent. Yes I had the other char but then this popped into my head and I liked the idea of a char completely with no ties to the mafia and is not chosen to be a guardian being caught up in the insanity and deciding to devote himself to it. I was also thinking that maybe CEDEF would train him but because he'd rather be completely involved in the Vongola's struggles whether it's an emergency or not he wouldn't be considered to join CEDEF. Now that I think about it he could maybe end up as the next leader of the Varia. I just think their's more potential with this char idea than my other one. And when I said the two strongest delinquents maybe that'd be like their own self proclaimed thing trying to be better than the other thus the rivalry. And hey maybe this could be kind of a theme with this generation, a chunk of it's members being delinquents given a chance to be more. Just tossing around ideas at this point though.

EDIT: Ooooh, it could be like a whole trifecta. Rei knocks both my char and Yoshi around whenever they get out of hand. The Erza to Natsu and Gray lol
@ChronoBovino I was thinking he'd be the guy who kicks yoshiaki's ass into shape whenever he needs some sense knocked into him.
@ChronoBovino Not yet, i do know that he'll have lightning flames
So I've been going over and over in my head with my char and now that I see the boss I have better idea than what I originally had. What do you guys think a completely unassociated delinquent char like who's yoshiaki's rival. they're the two always going at it, the majority of their injuries being caused by each other. Basically a rivalry of the two strongest delinquents in school. And it's this rivalry that eventually gets him roped in to the events and ends up fighting alongside the Yoshiaki and his guardians.
Kohaku Tsukarei

Kohaku chuckled, amused by his apparent "Senseo's" title. After the brief greeting he was directed to join his new teammates. He walked away with a short wave and sauntered over to the two awaiting him. As Kohaku approached the two he could overhear them discussing what he could assume was their test. "Forty laps, huh? That's rough..." He said in a matter-of-fact tone.

The notably taller of the two seemed a little tense and decided to introduce himself. “My name’s Ryuukaze Keita, by the way. I specialize in ninjutsu, but I also know a bit of taijutsu and have been trained to use weapons as well."

"Yo, Kohaku's the name and I specialize in afternoon naps, but I'm good with ninjutsu and a blade as well~" He said with an amused grin. After introductions Keita and the quiet girl continued to try and make a plan. Standing with his hands on the back of his head Kohaku's let his eyes wander over their sizable track. He found it a little silly that they were strategizing over running laps. They seemed more stressed about it than the situation really called for.

"It's not just that we should be stressing about. We should be worrying about how we're going to get through this entire course alive rather than pondering on how to chop a tree to be able to cross a lake. We have to think of the bigger picture here. Could there be traps? Land mines? Hidden holes perhaps? And on top of all that we have to figure out how we're able to complete this test without depleting so much of our stamina."

Looking back to the others Kohaku gave a quick chuckle. "Just deal with it as it comes~" He spoke in a lilting voice as if the answer was as simple as it seemed to be. "Traps, no traps...we don't have enough info to know for sure and no way to know where they might be. So there's no point in sitting around fretting over things we can't avoid without more intel. We might as well just deal with it as it comes~"

"Alright-o. Get set.....GO!" Senseo's got the right idea even if he did up the laps to eighty. He seemed to think it was an improvement. They weren't gonna get anywhere by just standing around speculating.

Kyu! Kohaku seemed oblivious to the slab of earth rising up behind him. Even after Keita darted out of the way and the quiet girl leaping to the side. "If there are traps as long as we keep an eye out for each other we should be fine~"

"Tsukarei-san, above you-"

"Hm?" Kohaku looked behind him with an unnaturally relaxed expression for his situation. With little in the ways of distress the Tsukarei clan prince jumped out of way of the slabs fall and barely avoiding being turned into part of the soil. "Yeah, like that. Thanks~" His necklace shone with a heated magenta glow momentarily. "What's got you so ruffled?" He asked obliviously as he followed after his squadmates.

Kohaku Tsukarei

Kyu! Kyu! Stirred awake by the soft calls right in front of him Kohaku opened his eyes and smiled blissfully at the clouds drifting lazily in the sky. "What's with the wake up call? I got the day off...and what a nice day for a nap outdoors~" That's right, no more studying, no more extra training to guarantee he'd pass, and since he hadn't been assigned a squad he had the day to relax and take in the fresh air. Kohaku stretched, breathing in the fresh air from atop the main house's roof in the Tsukarei estate. Clack! The unsuspecting genin was startled by the sudden landing of a large six-tailed fox right behind his head. "Whoa!" As he jumped Kohaku nearly tumbled off the roof. "Not cool Hibiki...well you're here so that means..." Kohaku flinched as Nori, the head of the Tsukrei clan, appeared with the slightest of noise. "Dad's not too far behind. Do you always have to show up like that?" He asked his father with a slight smirk.

"Just trying to keep you alert. I'm sure Ran was looking out for you~" Kohaku couldn't see it under his mask but he was sure his father had a wry smile. "Whoops, so that's why you woke me up...sorry about that~" He said looking down at his three-clawed necklace and rubbing the back of his head. The claws flashed with a slight magenta hue momentarily. "I don't suppose you're here for an afternoon nap too? I didn't think you ever got days off~" Kohaku asked leaning back on his arms. He felt a slight nudge under his hand but wrote it off. Hibiki sauntered up next to Nori his tails swaying majestically. "Turns out neither do you. You have your squad assignment. Your new sensei and teammates should have already rendezvoused at the designated training grounds." Kohaku sighed as he ran and through his hair. "So much for a relaxing afternoon. That's just how it goes I guess~" He leaned a more of his wait on his arm. Another nudge. Kyu! Nori stole a glance at his son's necklace. Three claws, one of the reasons why the elders are wary about his son's ascent to head of the clan. "You should hurry along, Haku. Your shinobi path has begun." Hibiki lept off ahead of the current Tsukarei head. Nori watched his trusted companion. "Yeah. I guess I should be going." Kohaku started to push himself up. Nudge. "Huh?"

Kyu! Nori began to leave. "You want to prove it to them, right? This is where it starts. Train hard, trust your sensei and your teammates...most of all grow strong together with Ran." Suddenly, the roof tile Kohaku's hand rested on gave way and slipped sending the young genin falling off the roof with a thud. "And listen to her once in a while~" With that last bit of advice Kohaku's father vanished as quickly as he appeared. "Owowow..." His necklace flashed for a second. "No need to rub it in..."

Despite the obvious need to be a little extra punctual Kohaku ended taking more of a leisurely stroll on his way to the training grounds. His necklace glowed. "Okay okay, I'll pick up the pace~" Kohaku took off through the tree branches. It only took couple of minutes for him to make it to the training grounds. He could hear voices already. "Sorry I'm late. I got a little sidetracked on the way~" Kohaku greeted as he stepped out of the woods with his hands in his pockets and a relaxed smile on his face.
