Vongola Primo entrusted the true form of the Vongola to myself, Sawada Tsunayoshi. And so, as Vongola Decimo I am ready to do the same and pass on this form and entrust it's evolution to the next generation. While it has been expressed that this has come too soon, I can only say that I've done everything I can for the Vongola. I wanted to recreate the Vongola as the Family Primo originally made it to be. Thanks to the support of so many--friends, allies, even enemies--I've accomplished what I became Vongola X for. Now, it's not Vongola X who's needed for the next evolution of the Vongola form. I've chosen my successor and just as a dear friend did for me, I need you to guide him. I gave my mentor a lot of trouble, and in some ways he'll give you some as well. But I believe in both you and him to rise to the challenge. I'm sorry to burden you with this but...Please take care of Vongola XI~

When the word "mafia" is uttered, what comes to your mind? Guns, turf wars, fancy suits, and "families"? What about an energy that flows through everyone and represents a strong spirit? Or a myriad of weaponry other than firearms that have incredible powers? How about a set of items that break down the boundaries of time and space? Do you think of struggles to determine the fate of the world? The mafia world is far more than anyone could have imagined. Fourteen year old Sawada Tsunayoshi found this out for himself when a infant calling himself a hitman showed up at his door and told him he was to become the leader of the most powerful mafia family in the world, the Vongola.

Though Tsunayoshi had always been opposed to the idea of being Vongola Decimo but eventually he chose to take on the title and fulfill the resolve he showed during the Vongola Trial. “I don't need... this kind of power! If you want me to inherit such mistakes... Then, I... I WILL WIPE OUT THE VONGOLA!” Over the years Tsuna has reshaped the Vongola and restored it to what Vongola Primo originally intended the group to be. The uncanny similarities between Tsuna and Giotto were always obvious. From their appearance to their ideologies and now even their early retirements. Though the Vongola has been rebuilt the mafia world is still the same and Tsuna never intended to be a mafioso. He's chosen his successor and the guardian candidates have been selected. Only time will tell what is in store for Vongola Undicesimo and the next generation.

As you can probably tell by my user name and the fact that I'm even making this, I'm a huge Hitman Reborn fan. Love the manga, love the anime and weep that they never did adapt the last two arcs of the manga and just everything about it. Having immersed myself in the series obviously I've thought a lot about several things; some mysteries of the series, the potential for story further down the line, and of course the next generations to come after Vongola Famiglia X.

I'd like to explore all this, so I'm looking for experienced and dedicated RPer's to join me in the mafia underworld~ The Mystery of the Cervelo, A Battle Under Two Skies, and The Dying Will's Reign, Over. These are a few ideas I have to give you an idea of where I'd like to go with our characters. I want to see what adventures and hardships Vongola Famiglia XI can endure~

Although it's not really any help for your semblance and more just nitpicking.. Faunus don't really display any special characteristics associated with their animal side (as far as we know), but they all have night vision. They more or less just display slight mannerisms that are associated to their animal.

So saying that Leaf has 'this and that' because of his animal heritage might not be a very canon thing..

Well, when the night vision information is revealed, Pyrrha says that "many" faunus possess night vision, implying that not all do which could be attributed to the species of faunus they are. I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that faunus have different perks based on their species.

Essentially Leaf is an untamed beast. He enjoys a good challenge, a good time, and a good laugh. He's quick to tease someone when he sees an opening. He carries himself with a cool, confident demeanor but has one heck of a temper. Since he's willing to fight at a moment's notice it doesn't take much more than taunting to get under his skin but you might reconsider before you do. He's more than happy to knock others down a peg, so his temper is more of an excuse to fight than a weakness for him. That being said, he's still not the most sociable of people. Leaf is rather quick to speak his mind though most would find his attitude unfavorable, has a bit of a superiority complex, can come off as rude and insensitive and doesn't exactly work well others. So, why does he even bother being around people, let alone being on a team? Well, even a lone wolf knows that the pack is stronger than himself alone. He may not act like it but if his friends teammates/allies ever need him he'll bare his fangs for them. First to confront an adversary and last to retreat, Leaf is a huntsman hungry to test his strength. He's happiest when he's able to go wild and admittedly when he gets to do so with his "pack".

Weapons:

Moonlight Hunter (has silver and green color scheme instead of the one in the picture) is a pair of revolvers similar to Lie Ren's Stormflower and has curved, fang-like blades extending from underneath the barrel. Unlike the aforementioned JNPR member, Moonlight Hunter is centers it's functions around power and wild attacks rather than speed and stealth. These revolvers can fire six dust rounds each, all of which pack a significant punch. The blades are infused with lighting dust adding to their cutting power.

It's secondary form is one Leaf doesn't use often given his preference for close-quarters combat but he is nonetheless proficient with it. The tops of the barrels connect, the blades extend further and the lightning energy is used to connect the two points forming a bow. In this mode each bullet is infused with lightning dust, transforming them into arrows when fired. He fire each arrow individually or empty all 12 chambers in rapid flurry of arrows.

Semblance:

Strengths:

○ Being a faunus and particularly a wolf faunus, Leaf's hearing, sight and sense of smell are excellent. This makes him a superb tracker.
○ Prodigious combat ability and reflexes.

Weaknesses:

○ Despite his weapons bow form Leaf is still only a mid-ranged fighter while using it and has trouble against long ranged opponents.
○ His temper doesn't hinder him like it would most but even he has a threshold where he'll start to make mistakes due to frustration and anger.

Still WIP but almost done. History is definitely gonna be the biggest hurdle but right if anyone could help I need ideas for Leaf's semblance.

@Raijinslayer Leaf is force of pure combat instinct. He doesn't throw strategy completely out the window but overwhelming enemies with an unyielding offense is his preferred method of battle. He does like to tease and push the buttons of his opponents to dominate and control the flow of battle. Something close to mid range with, by RWBY standards, basic functions.

The one idea I already have is a pair of tonfa that releases a bladed chain from the back end of it and can be electrified with dust.

Speaking of that asocial force of nature, anyone mind helping me out with some ideas for Leaf's weapon? I have one but I'm not solid on it yet. A few options to weigh might help.
