Tricks are pretty situational, and depending on the animal, it might not be that useful. Just pick what sounds good to you. I've never had much experience with them since the only player of my live group to use animal companions was my wife, who's standard combat plan is charge in with power attack and forget about the companion half the time.

BTW, I'm totally still here lol

Don't be like Varsuvius! Poor animal companions/familiars!
@Holy Soldier I am also still here. Just been waiting on the sidelines. I'll be more active in the next quest. Cheers.
@vosenedich
picked a different animal since the int thing bugged me a lot for some reason :)) yeah, could you look over it and see if it's ok please? i need some help at the bonus tricks section, i posted in the character sheet at the Animal Companion Section what i'm not sure about

Hehehehe.

So couple things:
1 - Both the bite AND the claws are priamry. This means when the panther does a full-attack action it performs 3 attacks (bite/claw/claw) at it's full BAB (in this case Melee using DEX). If they were secondary, the claws would've gotten a -5 to hit.
2 - The bonus trick that you get from animal companion is in addition to those normally granted to an animal. Which means your panther can know 7 tricks, of which 1 doesn't require training. All other tricks (the 6) you will have to teach during the game, unless our GM states otherwise. I have never used animal tricks, but I've heard they are pretty situational. Just pick whatever you like (mechanically or fluff), most of the time your panther's gonna be hitting things...a lot...really hard.
3 - Just to be clear, rake's are also priamary, but only usable while in a grapple. And they are 1d6 for a Big Cat (which I assume is where you took the stats from).
4 - Any creature (except those without a CON score) get their CON mod as bonus HP per hit die. Your panther should be getting (+1)x2 extra HP not just (+1), since it has 2 HD.

I think that might be all.

Magus 1

HP: 14/14
AC: 16

@Kibaro's Giant Wasp, hope this is easier to understand.

@Kibaro Just so I don't end up getting ninja'd, I'll show you what your end-result animal companion would look like in a moment.
@vosenedich yes, that is where i've been getting my info from mostly, so i can pick ANY animal companion i want, no level limiter, even 3PP? getting a dinosaur just sounds so...off for some reason, i mean it would be cool but...weird:))

As far as I know, yes, but remember that almost all of your animal companion's stats are limited by your druid level. So while a dinasaur sounds amazing, a wolf might be better since they have 2x claw and 1x bite attacks, or a hawk even, since they maintain their ability to fly. It's mostly a matter of thematics and what you value more in terms of special abilities.
@Kibaro You should take a look at the Druid page here, the list of animal companions here and how they work here.

I'd recommend taking the animal companion over the domain personally, since we have a rogue in the party and more bodies means easier flanking and thus more sneak attacks. But it's entirely up to you if you want to go more spell-slingy or more tactician. Basically your animal companion does the melee work for you.
@Yamazaki
can i use sling + shield together like one hand sling other hand shield for let's say weapon set 1, and just scythe for weapon set 2? the AC would change acordingly ofc

understood, will stay with the +2 on chosen AS :)

i thought you get a feat and it can be activated once you attain certain requirements, that being said, how does one get feats as they level up cause i couldn't find that info?
picked Toughness since i'm quite low on the HP, how does Agile Maneuvers or Weapon Focus sound to you for my char? i like the maneuvers one since it'll pump up my CMB, but i'm not 100% sure how much melee or range my char would be, i'm thinking around 60% range, 40%melee depending on the situation, but yeah an opinion would be welcomed :)

picked 3 traits and 1 flaw (2 normal +1 from having a flaw, is that acceptable?)

and until the sheet will fill up, i'll keep my stuff on there for now, but will do as you say eventually :)

thanks a lot for the feedback and help:)

You can find the XP required, Feat gain and Ability Score Increases that you get through leveling your character in the Character Advancement section.

You can't get weapon focus yet, since it requires a BAB of +1. That's the bonus to attacks that you get from your class, but not from any other sources. It's noted in the BAB column in the class table. If I'm not mistaken the druid is a 3/4 BAB class, so you'll get the BAB +1 at level 2.

Druids in general are more spell-slingy than fighters, but they make amazing fighters after they get their wild shape feature.

And 3 traits w/ 1 flaw is the standard acceptable set up, but usually not two of those traits can be from the same section. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Maybe our GM has some input on this.
Jessus christ what rolls T-T, also i'm back and will be posting my cs shortly

I rolled average on both gold and hp.
