If everyone else has left, we should maybe recruit some more. What do you think?
I'm still interested as well, though I have school messing things up too.
I don't think there is any need to apologize for that. :D

Edit:

Hope my post is alright, and hopefully they just don't start attacking poor Angelus.

And sorry but they did. :P I couldn't really see Whitney acting any other way.
Wow, no posts for five hours and then three almost simultaneously. How did that happen? xD
“Pokémon are um, creatures, like my team”, she said and pointed at her Pokémon, which were still drinking at the river. It was pretty frustrating to have to always explain something which she had always taken for granted.

The conversation just went on and on. Every single one seemed to have a different assumption of the legendary dragon. It was so overwhelming that Whitney wasn’t sure how to respond. Those creatures they talked about were incredible, yet not a single one of them was a Pokémon. A magical creature who was able to breathe fire, another who could control water, wind and something. The girl couldn’t believe that such creatures could exists and not be Pokémon, but it clearly seemed that they did. Well, Nonon had been able to make a Mega Evolution -like transformation even though she seemed to be a human. “Seriously, is anything possible?” she managed to say. There was just one thing which bugged her; almost everyone had made an assumption that they could kill the legendary dragon, whether it was necessary or not. But weren’t legendary creatures immortal?

The terrible shriek suddenly filled the air and Whitney couldn’t stop the cry coming from her mouth. In an instant her Pokémon surrounded her, ready to protect her from any attacker, but it seemed like no one was about to threaten them.
“Was that the legendary dragon?” Whitney whispered. She really hoped that it was a Pokémon. “I’ll take the cave, if that’s alright.” The only reason Whitney chose the cave was that the dragon, which would live in the cave, would likely be most similar to the ones she knew. And even that wasn’t sure by any means. She looked around to see if either Felt or Nonon was about to come with her and wondered if she dared to outright ask them. That’s when she noticed that Felt clearly wasn’t alright.

“What?” she exclaimed and started to panic. “What happened to you? Are you alright? Is there anything I can do?” Miltank tried to calm Whitney down, for freaking out was clearly not the best solution. Most of the other Pokémon weren’t as helpful. Delcatty tried her best and blowed like Felt was a small child with a scratch. Bibarel ran around aimlessly and bumped to about everyone who was close enough and didn’t manage to avoid her. Lickilicky was about lick Felt’s face, like that would help anything, and Clefable just hustled. Girafarig was the only one who stayed calm as well.

The arrival of Caim and Angelus didn’t help at all. Whitney, who spent again zero seconds to analyse the situation, ordered her Lickilicky to use Ice Beam at the dragon. The Pokémon shot a beam of freezing ice at the dragon.

“This has to be Giratina”, Whitney muttered. Nonon could say anything she wanted about how Pokémon were just a video game. Seriously, firstly the distortion everywhere and then an order to hunt down the legendary dragon. And Giratina was one, though there were others as well. Zekrom, Reshiram, Kyurem, Rayquaza, what else? Whitney didn’t come to think that it made little to no sense from Giratina to order people to hunt himself, unless he was controlled by someone.

Whitney took their mission surprisingly calmly. Hunting down a legendary dragon meant a concrete enemy, something her Pokémon could fight against. Especially when legendary dragons which Whitney knew rarely ever killed people. Plus, if anyone could somehow create a Master Ball, the mission would be incredibly easy. And even if anyone couldn’t, one could usually beat legends with a strong but compassionate heart and brute force, or that’s how it seemed to be from what she had heard. Felt in example could likely do that. And Whitney as well, at least in her book. One could ask how strong and compassionate her heart was. Oblivious to the fact that legendary dragon might be something else than Pokémon, Whitney adored the meadow. It was like straight out from a painting. The sky was so blue that it felt unnatural, the mountains were so perfectly dreamy-like that they couldn’t be true. The clear river bubbled happily and Whitney let her team to drink from it as she started to craft an anadem for herself and her team. They would look so adorable!

“zzr-zrz”, Whitney’s Pokégear made a sound on her hand. She realised that she had forgotten radio on for the whole time, but there hasn’t obliviously been a radio there earlier so it hadn’t attracted her attention. She adjusted the frequency a bit, hoping to catch a clearer signal. “... zz-r ther-zz ple-zrz-e respond.” And then the signal stopped. Whitney raised her eyebrows and wondered what that was about. Likely the sender had asked her to response, but Pokégear didn’t actually do that, at least based on Whitney’s knowledge. It could just receive radio signals, not to send them. The girl let radio on just in case she would be messaged again. That’s when she realised that others around her were already planning what to do with the mission.

“Um, you catch a dragon with Poké ball? Though I don’t have them with me”, Whitney said before she realised that what Vash meant by a legendary dragon was completely different from what she meant. “Well, only if our legendary dragon is a Pokémon. Otherwise we could maybe freeze it. Half of my team knows an ice-type move and the dragons which I know don’t like ice. Chains… Last time someone tried to control a legendary dragon with chains, or actually with one red chain, he failed but I don’t recall why. Or that’s what I heard from Lance who heard it from Cynthia.” The girl tried to look away from Ghost rider. His eyes were creepy. As she made a mistake and looked them a bit longer, she started to instantly think how she had been cruel to Bugsy when she had refused to play with him. He just wanted to have a friend but Whitney had pushed him away simply because he happened to like bugs. His teary face returned to her mind and Whitney promised herself that she would be nicer to him in the future.
Whitney actually has a Pokègear, which includes a radio. She hasn't really used it yet though. :D

I'll post either today or tomorrow.
I agree with everyone else about starting now.
It came to my mind as well. xD

And there is a typo, I need to fix it.
Okay, this place is the warzone of Cresselia and Darkrai, so there are both good and bad dreams. That kind of perfect guys simply do not exist”, Whitney thought. She thought about Bugsy, another gym leader who looked like a girl and couldn’t think about anything else besides his bug types. Yup, Felt couldn’t be real. Whitney had started to calm down again and was slightly embarrassed from crying so loud, maybe for the first time in her life. Usually she didn’t feel bothered about weeping in front of others.

Whitney turned to her Girafarig and noticed that it had attempted to protect her as well. She hugged her Pokémon and decided to keep her out along with Miltank. “You kinda resemble a Pokémon”, Whitney said to Felt. It was a compliment, even though it definitely didn’t sound like one.
“Should we really go to the town?” Whitney said to everyone. “This place doesn’t really feel sa-safe anymore. Anyone could attack from the woods at any moment.”
