This next moment, they were to crash into the Queen-Beast in a 'suicide-attack' to destroy the monster that had appeared in their world, to make a sacrifice to their cause to defeat the threat. Both Caim and Angelus knew this, but...this foreseen moment never happened. Instead, they happened to find themselves not in the ruins of the Cathedral City, and more importantly, no sign of the demonic Watchers and their Queen-Beast. It only meant they were in a foreign land, or maybe even a foreign world if there was no destruction primarily caused by the Watchers. Usually this would reassure them that they were safe from certain death, but the fact that they were not in the world they were most familiar with was enough to unsettle them by a bit.

"Caim, care to share some thoughts on where are we at? It is the most confusing for this to happen to us," the red dragon spoke. Well...not actually speak in a physical sense, but the dragon's words were spoken telepathically, and thus the dragon did not have to move her mouth to truly speak like normal humans would. Then you would expect that the human, Caim, would speak as if they were having a conversation, but all he did was gave a shrug. It wasn't that he didn't like talking, it was because he couldn't talk...AT ALL. Caim and his dragon Angelus were bound together in a pact, and his price to pay was his own voice, leaving him mute for the rest of his life. At least Angelus was able to hear his thoughts and thus be his voice to others.

"Then we are thinking on this in the same way...I will guess that a calling will do us good...or bad," the dragon happened to agree with Caim's thoughts, and then let out a single powerful roar that would go some distance to whoever was in range with the dragon and it's human in the clear sky. A roar that would only come from one of the most confident of dragons.

A disk of fire opens up near the group that Joker is in, and a flaming skeleton flies through it on a fiery motorcycle. He lands and slides across the ground, leaving two small trails of small flames in his wake. He gets off the cycle and it turns into a small key. After he places this key in a pocket he walks over to the group. He stands there not saying anything, staring each individual in the eyes for a while. If they looked back, they would see a never ending inferno filled with rage and anger. If they chose to stare into his eyes, they would start to feel the pain they've caused others, but once they look else where it would go away fairly quickly. He clenches his hands into fists, then relaxes them. He speaks in a voice dripping with annoyance and demonic in nature "Why have I been brought here? And you'd better hope it's worth my while. I have ways of going back" This of course was a lie. He had no clue what was going on here. Might as well make himself seem in control of the situation. A lost ghost rider is a dead one.

Agnès woke up. She was alone, in the middle of nowhere. Nothing ever made sense to her, except the brilliant First Light that engulfed her, the others and Grandship. Although, everything was supposedly over. She awakened all the 4 Crystals, had Airy to drain the light to close the chasm... everything was done and the world was saved. However, she wasn't somewhere she knew. Ancheim, Florem, Eternia or Hartschild... it was a world the she never knew. "Ringabel? Edea? Airy? Tiz?! Where are you all?!", she screamed to the distances far away. But all she could hear was the voice of a man which she wasn't able to describe. His voice seemed to have a taunting tone to her, as he said himself to be The Viewer.

Agnès checked herself and found that she had her items. However, the Job Asterisks she carried were mostly gone. The only ones left were the Valkyrie, the Salve-Maker and the Arcanist. The others were gone. I have to find a way out...! If I don't, then...", the worst possible things to happen passed into her head all at once. She wasn't able to describe how desperate she was to find her friends. Agnès ran away in a random direction. It was expected that she would lose her way... she never had a good sense of direction after all...

Hunting Ground of Monsters

Time continued to move on, seconds becoming minutes which in turn became hours as the various characters, beings, and entities made their acquaintance with both each other and the geography. Finally, it was the promised time. As all of the clocks in the City struck 6:00 AM through a mysterious synchronization effect, the dulling glowing tower lit up like a beacon. Where before the light had been dim and gradual, it suddenly brightened to something as intense as a second sun, though burning violet in corner. Waves of power flared into the visible spectrum as they rippled outwards from the great spiral to encompass the city in a dome as the seas raged and the earth trembled under the violently churning heavens.

Buildings would be lifted off into the sky and rearranged like some great invisible child was using the entire place as a toy set, scenery rapidly grew verdant or withered into ashes, ice became water and vice versa. Giant gulfs sprang up where there had been once solid ground and things just continued to be rearranged by some seemingly mad whim. As lightning flared and thunder pealed among the black clouds, a giant humanoid shadow could be seen looming over the city for a moment before promptly disappearing. Then... all color was leeched from the world until there was only monochrome. Time stood still for everyone... and then the world exploded into a million pieces.

At least that was what it felt like for Ranma and Shiroe as they gaped at the rather showy visuals before they blanked out entirely. When they came to, they found themselves in a giant green valley underneath a clear blue sky. Picturesque snowy mountains framed the horizon with crystal clear rivers running throughout the obviously fertile land filled with fruit trees and flowers. In the distance, those with good eyesight could see shapes meandering through the valley to graze. Curiously, they looked like herbivorous dinosaurs, though not of any variety found on earth. Dappled grey and brown with black stripes, sporting crests on their heads and spikes on their tails, the giants could be heard bellowing and grunting lowly in the distance.

Ranma stated dully at the scenery with one of her eyes twitching sporadically as she took it all in. "Magic... I hate magic... It just continues to screw with me! It made me pull a Ryoga into god knows where, and now there's dinosaurs in the background!" The girl ranted, not noticing that all of the newcomers to the city had been shifted to the meadow for their general location. Grunting as she saw words somehow float in her vision, the girl blinked a few times before she found what looked like subtitles pop up. {Trial 1: Hunt Down the Legendary Dragon} "...F@$#IO#U!" Some rather not nice words erupted from the redhead's mouth as she and the others got their mission objectives.

Minna

Above the newly formed plains, a portal of sorts opened. Through it flew a red-haired young woman with wolf ears and what looked like a pair of propellers on her legs, along with a large machine gun on her back.

"OK, this is unusual."

What had started for Minna as a fairly ordinary patrol over the Adriatic had clearly turned into something completely different. Slowly, she lifted a hand to her ear, activating the tiny communicator that sat in her ear canal.

"This is Lieutenant-Colonel Wilcke. If anyone's out there... please respond."

Saber

For a few moments, the world seemed to go entirely and completely mad. The earth shuddered, and power rippled across it as buildings changed and rearranged themselves. Indeed, the world seemed to be changing itself utterly. Gone was the city, the snowy forest that Saber had first found her in in the shifting insanity that had overtaken the land. Even as a Servant, it was difficult for her to follow what was occurring in the city, and indeed everywhere. When she finally found her surroundings to have become fully comprehensible again, she found herself surrounded by the others... and many new faces...? There were newcomers here?

The blonde girl looked around, attempting to get her bearings as quickly as possible. Thankfully, her nature made this quite easy. It was an expansive plain, carpeting the bottom of a vast, fertile valley... and there were... creatures. Saber was unsure of what they were, but she felt they were not an immediate danger. They resembled the large, reptilian creatures that had apparently ruled the world some time before the birth of humanity... it was a time that both baffled and intrigued Saber. Were they like dragons?

It was then that inexplicable text floated in front of her vision, though it displayed a rather straightforward goal. To hunt, coincidentally, a legendary dragon. For a few moments Saber was silent, taking in her surroundings for a moment...

"So this is our challenge..." she began, "... We must find this creature."
Jakuzure Nonon

Okay was even the landscape inconsistent in this place? One minute it's a city and a forest and everything, and then weird things happen and it's some kind of wildlife park kind of place. Someone really needed to... okay, Nonon didn't know what they needed to do, but they needed to do something about this kind of thing. At least she was in the air still, above all the morons who had been dragged here two. And some new morons, apparently. But hey, at least something was happening now. If she was confused, she couldn't help but wondering how the idiots were doing...

She almost opened her mouth to ask what the hell this even was, but convenient text appeared in front of her eyes to explain just what was going on. So they had to hunt a dragon. Nonon didn't believe in dragons, but given that this place had just reformed itself she didn't really have any reason to believe it couldn't spawn a dragon from no-where.

In spite of the insanity of the situation... Nonon's lips curled into a distinctively catlike smile. Hey, they were doing something now at least... and didn't dragons fly? It would be amazing to shoot a dragon out of the sky and prove her aerial superiority...

"... Fine, okay," she started, "I can teach a dragon about the joys of classical music! Cheerfully, jauntily, and above all brutally!"

Evahld finished his swig, giving a refreshed sigh and returning the everfull mug to the bag of holding.

"Well then! These mutant parasaurolophus are not our quarry! Onward, so that we might interrogate this dragon for the location of the asshole wizard who has kidnapped us, and claim its hoard of treasures!"

With long strides, he began the cascade of drinking songs again, a smile on his face. A foe worthy of his power, at last!

"Oh, what shall we do with the drunken sailor, what shall we do with the drunken sailor, what shall we do with the drunken sailor, early in the morning?"

Nobuo dazed off for a long while before a motorcycle woke him up. Eventually, he stared face to face with a skull-faced rider who gazed into him.

For a brief moment, he felt all the pain he afflicted to the members of the Blatantly Evil Marketing Firm B, which in his case felt like he was shot a lot. Each bullet from the Moe Magnum finisher hit Nobuo. To him, it felt like he died twelve times over. Though in that moment, he was thankful his show was just an unofficial Sentai.

Because he'd finish going through that pain in under thirty minutes thanks to the abrupt finale.

"You! You're obviously part of some evil empire, aren't you! Your looks confirm it! Well, if this is to be my first challenge..." Nobuo whipped out a doll. Or rather an action figure of a blue-haired high-school student with metallic braids. He held her out.

That's when everything changed and he found himself in a great valley. Then the subtitle said to hunt down a dragon.

"EEEEH!?" Nobuo said. He looked to the Rider, though away from him to avoid eye contact. "I guess I can let you off with a warning, ehe..." Nobuo said.

“Ah… well… that was a rough transition.” Vash groaned as he pulled himself into a sitting position, looking around at his new surroundings. Given the insane visuals he’d just witnessed as the earth transformed, he couldn’t help but be slightly surprised at just how… nice, and peaceful everything looked. “Oh wow, lush green grass… lots of it!” Vash mused, running his hand through the greenery below him. Not a lot of that on the desert planet he came from. “And a nice blue sky…” he continued, bringing himself to his feet, before the first Trial’s objective flashed in the sky.

“A dragon, eh?” he echoed, thinking it over. Given everything that had happened, he really wasn’t surprised at the notion of dragons being a thing that existed. …Granted, the Trial said legendary dragon, implying there were maybe other dragons out there? Well, the ‘legendary’ dragon would probably stand out amongst the others, if there were more…

“Soooo… how do you suppose we catch a dragon?” he spoke out loud to the others in the field he materialized in, thinking over any sort of dragon lore that could be of use to him. “It’s probably big… bet it breathes fire… So rope wouldn’t work to capture it. We’d need chains or something…” he thought out loud, obviously not even considering killing it. “As for finding it… do you think we could attract it somehow? Dragons are supposed to like gems and things, right? You think we could trick it with some kind of shiny metal?”

Ghost Rider jumps back a whole foot when the terrain changes. "What in Mephisto's name was that!?" He glanced around a bit to see they were out of the concrete jungle and in some sort of haven. He relaxes a bit but still slides chains out of each hand just in case. He wasn't too concerned about the puppet. He does however beef up his size to be a whole foot taller, making him seven foot eight. He looks at Vash, and says "Chains? How do you feel about these?" He lets loose chains from his hands and they go a few hundred yards to wrap around a tree. He then tugs on the chains and uproots the tree. The chains then turn into fire and dissipate.

"It's nice to meet you too!"

This girl was definitely not a human and seemed scared enough without rbeing a threat, nice enough too in a nervous, probably foreign-to-human society way. Overall Morito couldn't imagine her being much of a threat to him at the moment and she hadn't seen through his childish behavior yet, though for that matter nor had anyone else. In any case the mercenary figured he might as well befriend this new person.

"We're all supposed to be here to play some kind of big game with challenges and things but I just wanna go home. I guess we might have to fight monsters and badguys and do obstacle courses or something. D'you have any neat powers? some people here have neat powers."

“This has to be Giratina”, Whitney muttered. Nonon could say anything she wanted about how Pokémon were just a video game. Seriously, firstly the distortion everywhere and then an order to hunt down the legendary dragon. And Giratina was one, though there were others as well. Zekrom, Reshiram, Kyurem, Rayquaza, what else? Whitney didn’t come to think that it made little to no sense from Giratina to order people to hunt himself, unless he was controlled by someone.

Whitney took their mission surprisingly calmly. Hunting down a legendary dragon meant a concrete enemy, something her Pokémon could fight against. Especially when legendary dragons which Whitney knew rarely ever killed people. Plus, if anyone could somehow create a Master Ball, the mission would be incredibly easy. And even if anyone couldn’t, one could usually beat legends with a strong but compassionate heart and brute force, or that’s how it seemed to be from what she had heard. Felt in example could likely do that. And Whitney as well, at least in her book. One could ask how strong and compassionate her heart was. Oblivious to the fact that legendary dragon might be something else than Pokémon, Whitney adored the meadow. It was like straight out from a painting. The sky was so blue that it felt unnatural, the mountains were so perfectly dreamy-like that they couldn’t be true. The clear river bubbled happily and Whitney let her team to drink from it as she started to craft an anadem for herself and her team. They would look so adorable!

“zzr-zrz”, Whitney’s Pokégear made a sound on her hand. She realised that she had forgotten radio on for the whole time, but there hasn’t obliviously been a radio there earlier so it hadn’t attracted her attention. She adjusted the frequency a bit, hoping to catch a clearer signal. “... zz-r ther-zz ple-zrz-e respond.” And then the signal stopped. Whitney raised her eyebrows and wondered what that was about. Likely the sender had asked her to response, but Pokégear didn’t actually do that, at least based on Whitney’s knowledge. It could just receive radio signals, not to send them. The girl let radio on just in case she would be messaged again. That’s when she realised that others around her were already planning what to do with the mission.

“Um, you catch a dragon with Poké ball? Though I don’t have them with me”, Whitney said before she realised that what Vash meant by a legendary dragon was completely different from what she meant. “Well, only if our legendary dragon is a Pokémon. Otherwise we could maybe freeze it. Half of my team knows an ice-type move and the dragons which I know don’t like ice. Chains… Last time someone tried to control a legendary dragon with chains, or actually with one red chain, he failed but I don’t recall why. Or that’s what I heard from Lance who heard it from Cynthia.” The girl tried to look away from Ghost rider. His eyes were creepy. As she made a mistake and looked them a bit longer, she started to instantly think how she had been cruel to Bugsy when she had refused to play with him. He just wanted to have a friend but Whitney had pushed him away simply because he happened to like bugs. His teary face returned to her mind and Whitney promised herself that she would be nicer to him in the future.

"AHAHA!" Evahld chortled, thumping Vash on the back. "Friend, that is the assumption of a rookie adventurer! What foul things a dragon's lungs belch forth depends on its skin! For while green ones live in forests and spray foul gasses that rust metal, blue ones live in the desert and spray mighty bolts of lightning. And that's not even getting into the tremendous arcane powers! No, friend, we shall not know what powers are at the beast's disposal until we meet it in pitched combat! And then we shall slay the demon infesting the party!" he said, hiking his thumb at Ghost Rider, "Truly, a worthy tale for the tavern!"

Ba'al surveyed the new group, the raucous blond man in armor who was apparently drunk or just insane, the lady with the tail (that was interesting), and then the skeleton man that was on ire (Ba'al's gaze slid rapidly over that one. For some reason, it hurt intensely when their eyes met, and he didn't know why). And then...things happened. Many things, at once. The tower outside burst into life as visible waves of power rolled through the city, and Ba'al moved to the window to watch. There, he was able to see buildings hoisted into the sky like matchsticks as the environment rearranged itself in a display that would probably impress even the Ancients. Lightning flared, thunder peeled, then time seemed to stand still, like he was going through the Gate.

Wh3en consciousness returned, he found himself standing in a green valley, picturesque mountains in the distance, and not a cloud in the sky. It seemed some representation of paradise at least, if it weren't for the dinosaurs wandering about. Before he could muse further, words appeared in front of him, like some holographic message, detailing their task. So, hunt the Legendary Dragon eh? It sounded like something he'd have done searching for the Sangraal. Well, it couldn't be too bad, right? Though he had his doubts given that it was a 'Legendary' dragon and all.

He then went into the quick explanation for the new arrivals. "Well then, it seems we have our first mission. As I said, I am Ba'al. You new folks", he gestured to the fox type lady, the skeleton man, and the drunken warrior, "have been summoned here by a near omnipotent entity known as the Viewer, who has charged us with 21 challenges to determine who is worthy to receive a single wish, for whatever you want, as well as returning everyone home. Losing will leave you trapped here, dying is not advised. And this is the first challenge."

He then stepped forward. "I suggest we actually find the dragon before we think about how to kill it. After all, information is something usually worth having, especially when dealing with a legendary creature." He pointed to the mountains in the distance then. "Given that I don't see any big, flying reptiles above us, I would suggest we head in that direction, where it probably has a nest." Yes, Ba'al was somewhat genre savvy when it came to fantasy literature.

Okay, sure, they were in a patchwork world where physics were probably not the most stable force in the 'world', but even according to those standards this was still insane. As if that was not enough, the rest of the world around them quickly followed rearranging itself, parts and pieces changing shape seemingly at random. In combination with the giant thunderstorms and everything slowly fading to grey, there was little other description for the events than 'apocalypse'.
It reminded Felt of what happaned to Eden, only a lot worse. At least parts of Eden had survived. In this case, it looked like everything was getting destroyed. In the last second before the world shattered, the young alchemist wondered if this was what it felt like for the people on the lost continents.

...Except for that, an unknown amount of time later, everything was back to normal. Well, sort of, at least; where previously the group was in some kind of bizarre city, they now found themselves in a green valley. Similiarly, the patchwork sky had made place for a clean blue one, snow-topped mountains completing the panorama. If nothing else, the place looked a lot more inviting than the previous location -- although the mission involving a legendary dragon didn't sound quite as appealing.
In absence of any immediate threat, Felt decided to take one of his own potions in an attempt to ward of the ever-increasing headache all of this interdimensional mucking about was giving him. Sure, it might not be designed for common pains like that, but a placebo efect goes a long way. With this problem taken care of, the young alchemist tried to listen in on the conversation, seeing if there was anything he could do to help. Although he hadn't ever actually met one, one of the tomes in the Eden Library did say something about dragons being weak to ice. Or was that resistant? The more he tried to remember it, the more it seemed to slip away. Well, I guess that's karmic justice for dozing off in class... . Well, one way or another, it wouldn't hurt to create a few Ice Bombs in preparation. Maybe he should hand a few out to some of the others too? On the other hand, he had no idea who he could trust. Whitney and Kaguya seemed nice enough -- or at the least too oblivious to be dangerous --, but the rest ranged from unknown to radiating 'Do not trust me, I'm obviously an evil overlord'. And then there was this skeleton on some kind o-
Felt's thoughts were cut short when sddenly his stomach felt like it was cut upen. In fact, this was exactly what it felt like; although the young swordsman didn't realize this, the pain exactly mirrored the injury he had brought to Mokou earlier that 'day'. Clutching his abdomen in pain, Felt grunted as he sank to the ground. Although the searing pain started to fade quickly after breaking eye contact with the skeleton, the impact on his body was still there, leaving Felt shaking on the ground, his breathing obviously jagged.

If Sazh had though the earthquake caused by that tower was anything to shake a stick at, then it severely paled in comparison to what had happened afterwards. The world had seemed to erupt in cacophony, with buildings and environments being torn away or morphed on the spot. In the few moments before he had whited out, Sazh had been looking at that emerged tower for some reason for that, and so could've sworn that perhaps there was some massive shadow looming beyond...

When he snapped back to consciousness again, it was over. 'It' being the rearranging of the world, presumably. Whatever the case, Sazh and every other candidate he had seen (plus a few that he hadn't) had all somehow been moved to this open plains. Picturesque rolling hills emphasized by sparkling rivers led out into a grassy valley where huge creatures grazed, and further beyond were large, snow-tipped mountains. The old pilot couldn't quite figure what those large creatures were, but they best seemed to resemble the Adamantoise of Gran Pulse. "Hell, those whole place kinda sparks of Gran Pulse..." Sazh thought out loud.

Looking around at everyone here, it seemed like everyone that was ever supposed to be here was accounted for. Some were definitely recent, and still looking very disoriented (that flaming skeleton guy seemed to be disorienting everyone else, though...), while others had been here awhile before and were just still recovering from the transportation.

{Trial 1: Hunt Down the Legendary Dragon}

Damn, this really was like Gran Pulse. Dumped down in what may as well have been a yet prettier version of the Archylte Steppe, and then being told to find something that they knew nothing about. What a way to start these trials. Before he went any farther, though, Sazh was struck by a though, and looked down: the l'Cie was met by the same whited brand as ever, and so he sighed with some relief. Whatever this Viewer was, it appeared that he didn't know how to alter the brand of a l'Cie of Pulse.

At least, not yet...

"So!" Sazh suddenly piped up, forcing himself away from darker thoughts. "Hunt a 'Legendary Dragon', eh? Great. Fantastic." His apparent cheerfulness was quickly replaced by exasperated sarcasm, and he mumbled, "Where the hell do we even start..." After Ba'al had spoken his mind, Sazh shot a glance towards the mountains. "Good place as any to start looking for some mythical flying lizard, I suppose," The pilot considered. "How're we gonna go about this? We wanna split up again, or- what? I mean, if this place is as big as I think it is, then we've probably got a lot~ of ground to cover."

Korra was just getting comfortable when she saw a man step into the hotel, she looked at him questioningly. "Hey, who are..." she said just before time seemed to stop and the land seemed to change drastically, all of a sudden she woke up in a green valley, surrounded by the other people that were with her at the hotel. "What the..." she started before being interrupted again by some letters appearing in her vision. "So we have to find a dragon huh? A legendary one at that." she said, as she stood up and looked at the people around her. She turned to look at Vash and said "I don't know much about dragons, though Lord Zuko has his own dragon, all I know about that dragon is that it can breathe fire and fly." As she began to come back to herself she noticed the man, he was rather intriguing, as she had heard shortly earlier, it appeared that his name was Ba'al. "So this is our first challenge huh? So any ideas Ba'al?" she asked Ba'al, looking at him curiously.

Vash jumped slightly as Ghost Rider whipped out his chains and showed off his power. Ghost Rider’s appearance was intimidating enough, after all, and the chain ability was certainly something. “Uh… yeah! That… would probably help!” Vash replied a bit nervously, still not used to seeing people with such a wide range of powers.

He didn’t exactly get much time to flesh out the plan with said skeletal individual, though, before some gung-ho viking-type fellow came out of nowhere excitedly ranting about different types of dragons as if such things were common knowledge where he came from. Vash really had no idea just how accurate his information was. “Well, hang on a minute,” he spoke up sheepishly. “We probably don’t need to go so far as to slay the thing, right? I’m sure we can hold it down with flame-skull’s chains and that’ll count towards a victory!” he grinned, hoping the adventurer would agree. “Also,” he then turned towards Whitney. “What’s a Pokemon?”

Saber

The newcomers ranged from not unexpected to... unusual. There was another figure to be wary of, the flaming skeleton in black. Needless to say, she would be keeping an eye out for anything suspicious from him, just as she watched the lich... and the clown man. There were other matters to be concerned with for the moment, needless to say. Everyone seemed to have various doubts and beliefs about dragons. Saber knew of what she possessed, of what she had battled, and also that a close friend of hers had slain one of the creatures in life...

Of all her regrets, his fate still lingered in her mind. Saber could only hope her had found peace, somehow... but now was not the time to focus on such thoughts. Now was time to contribute just what she knew of dragons. There was one of the newcomers, who spoke... some of what she knew of dragons... "... The loud man speaks the truth. There are multiple kinds of dragons, though I know only of the ones bearing red skin, who breath flames. They are incredibly powerful and magical creatures, but it is not impossible to slay them. And in battle with a dragon, it must be slain."

It was a point she felt needed to be touched on. While Saber was a knight, someone who fought for justice, for the weak, for those who could not fight for themselves... she had no illusions that a beast such as a dragon could be subdued non-lethally.
Jakuzure Nonon

Nonon raised an eyebrow.

"So, what, you people come from places with dragons? How can you be so sure the one here's gonna be like the ones you know? It's just stupid to assume that kind of thing. Not that any of your are bright..." Nonon shrugged, smiling at the insulting note she had left off on. She wasn't going to spare the opportunity to give each and every single person there another good insult, that was for certain. Besides, it was dumb as hell to make assumptions about this place. It was some weird shapeshifting land that didn't make any sense.

"I just know it's going to be grounded, permanently," she added, considerably more brightly.

Ba'al looked over to the small girl in the strange costume who was vaguely insulting to all of them, before shaking his head. "Sadly, there is a distinct lack of dragons in the galaxy that I come from, though I suppose one could be made if you were willing to try long enough with advanced genetic engineering. Or holograms. I have, however, read extensively of high fantasy works such as those by Tolkien and others, and that would theoretically make me more qualified than someone like yourself, who obviously lacks the patience for such pursuits." Yes, the System Lord could be sarcastic as well.

That said, he looked over to the other two who had addressed him. "I should think that would be obvious by the floating words that said 'Trial #1," Ba'al pointed out, "But yes, this is our first trial. And Vash has a point. The task was merely to hunt the dragon. No one said anything of killing it." He then turned to thought, figuring on these different types of dragons that were mentioned and such. Since he seemed to have been cast into some leadership role, he would do as such.
