Name: Jaden Bernes Appearance: Jaden is of moderate height, and maintains a slim, athletic build. His hair is always kept short and braided to avoid snagging, or giving adversaries something to grab. He always keeps his shades on, as he suffers photophobia. No matter what he wears, it's always going to be black with shades of gray/
Like his missing comrades, Jaden's life has always been touched by Heartless, one way or another. When he in middle school, he was helping a librarian close up for the night when they were attacked by strange black creatures. In desperation, Jaden found himself manifesting some kind of sword to fight them off. However, the incident left the librarian in a coma, and prompted his then foster mother to abandon him.
Following this incident, a series of events caused Jaden to meet Modesto Quintanna, and Saleel Ahmedi; two other boys whose lives were affected by the heartless. In fact, Modesto's story was eerily similar to Jaden's. Years later, as they prepared to enter high school, Mr Huo, the father of Modesto's late friend, Jeremy Huo, explained those creatures were called "不仁". They were ruthless monsters, hunting from the shadows for those with particularly strong wills.
When pushed to their breaking points, Jaden and Modesto manifested what he called a "天堂鑰匙"; the only known weapon that can destroy the creatures permanently. Mr. Huo also explained that he was part of secret society called Jīnlóng, who were currently at war with the 不仁. It was the final wish of Jeremy that Modesto join the Jīnlóng.
Modesto only agreed to do so if Jaden and Saleel were allowed to come with him. While Mr. Huo agreed, the rest of Jīnlóng did not. In fact, they order Jaden and his friends killed for "stealing Chinese secrets". It was then they realized the Jīnlóng had become corrupt; its leader was a rogue sorcerer, who struck a bargain with the Heartless in a bid to turn Chinatown into his empire. The accusation of treason was just an excuse to kill Jaden and his friends for their 天堂鑰匙.
Forced to flee, Los Bandidos eventually met up with Zhēnxiàng a well-known martial arts master. Said master also offered to teach Jaden how to manifest and use his 天堂鑰匙 at will. Meanwhile, Modesto went with Mr. Huo to do the same, and Saleel returned to Brooklyn to train under his own mentor, Beatboxer.
While training in Japan, Jaden eventually met a girl named Akira, and a boy named Sora (no, not that Sora), whom Zhēnxiàng also took as his apprentices. In two years time, Los Bandidos reunited in an attempt to oust the sorcerer and his scheme once and for all. Howevever, the confrontation caused a device of the sorcerer's to malfunction, and several rifts opened, scattering Los Bandidos across the multiverse.
Jaden must now locate his comrades, and find a way home.
Age: 17
Skills: From a young age, Jaden had imposed upon himself an intense regimen of study and martial arts training, making him a formidable fighter, even without a keyblade. Upon training under Zhēnxiàng, Jaden is able to wield his keyblade as if it were an extension of himself. He has learned the basic elemental spells associated with the Keyblade, and tends to utilize them as if the Keyblade were a gun. jaden's style is very loose, favoring fluidity of motion and controlling the spacing, and pacing of the fight.
Beyond physical abilities, Jaden is very intelligent, and perceptive. He has a knack for reading body language, and is good at predicting the "flow" of events before they happen. This isn't some ability of far sight, but rather an educated guess. Other skills include cooking, and basic carpentry, vehicle mechanics, and computer programming. He's also good at guitar. Personality: Jaden presents himself as stoic and taciturn; believing actions speak louder than words. He is, however, not without a sardonic sense of humor. Very disciplined and rational, Jaden is usually the voice of reason amongst his friends. He is also quite skeptical, always questioning things, at least to himself.

The former, but if there are too many Keybladers, I'll put a stop to it.
I see... Okay, so in that case I need to focus on those characters I have whose movesets would actually include a keyblade, which would be my main, and two other characters. It would be lame if all of them were keybladers.
I see. Make sure to remember that only a Keyblade can defeat Heartless permanently, btw - other weapons merely destroy their bodies, which reform elsewhere.
Okay, so my question should've been: Can I make each of my character's group a keyblade wielder? Or, are you looking to have a limited number of them?
Okay, so I'm still fine-tuning my ideas. But, in the meantime, I'll share what I have in mind thus far to make sure it's kosher:
I have a group of youngsters who will be involved in fighting Heartless, one way or another. However, the group ends up being scattered across the different settings. So, my character's goal is to locate those friends of his. I know I want my character to be a keyblade wielder, and possibly one of the others. But, I'm not sure about the rest of them.
