Katia paused briefly not realizing a question was directed at her ”How’s it looking out there? I really hope there’s not much left to fight", she tried to quickly recap events outside but the most she could remember was charging around enjoying the fight Katia just grinned as she looked at the woman "Should be more or less safe by now i guess, a load of guards were fighting and Tobias is out there he'll help anyone struggling". Katia took another sip while everyone seemed to gather at the bar for the remaining alcohol, she couldn't help but notice one of them placed money on the counter for the drink they took, while the others began to banter amongst themselves.

A short while later a Gnome walked in to investigate, "Might I recommend we all take the time to remember this building was on fire and had an explosion in it, so it could probably fall down at any moment. Could we vacate the premises?", Katia took another sip from the bottle she had, as she looked around the building some embers were still burning away as wooden beams creaked loudly. "Good point" Katia whispered as she put the bottle down & grabbed her spear, after quickly swiping the money left on the counter without anyone noticing "it be a waste to just leave it to burn..." she muttered to herself as she made her way around the bar & walked over to the exit, Katia trying desperately not to pickup & hug the little Gnome like a doll for being so short & cute as she headed for the exit, the thought going from her mind as she figured she should check up on Tobias after they got split up early on in the fighting.

Katia was caught off guard but managed to shield her eyes as she ducked from the demons fireball attack, the next thing she noticed was someone throwing a piece of wood at someone else, before the second figure then lunged at the demon attacking its legs, just as she fully recovered and became fully aware of her surroundings yet another person came barging into the pub yelling something along the lines of "WHO DID WHAT TO MY FAVORITE PUB" in a fit of rage before drawing a weapon & charging past her abruptly towards the demon as well.

Following the others lead Katia went to join the fight as she fully drew one of her axes, but then the demon unexpectedly impaled itself speaking as it started melting into the floor "...I'll see you puny fools in the Abyss, then... the war has only begun...". After the creature burnt through the floor into what must have been the cellar below, she had to suppress the urge to ask if the now lifeless black armor pieces were worth anything or if they were safe to take in-case of a curse or something...?. Katia's train of thought was interrupted when the new arrival tripped flew over the hole in the floor & plowed head first into what was left of some fire-damaged furniture her thoughts replaced with a single word 'Ouch!' not wanting to prod at what was left of the mans dignity Katia acted like she hadn't noticed as the newly arrived stranger cracked his broken nose back into place.

"Can anyone tell me what happened here?" the man asked, Katia put her axe back into its holster and began walking over to some skeleton remains near a window while everyone else was recovering from the ordeal "i just got here myself, but gist of it that was the monster boss guy that started the fight & he's now dead" Katia smiled widely at the man as she clicked her fingers before pointing with both hands randomly towards someone else in the room "they probably know more..." Katia nods as she recovers a short sword from some of the skeletons remains & sheathing it as she then turned & walked towards the bar stepping around the large hole in the floor.

As Katia walked over she noticed one of the others taking a seat at that scorched bar & rubbing his neck from a injury? perhaps, as he spoke up to everyone "Not the nice stroll along the shore you guys thought this would be, huh?" undaunted Katia continued towards the bar while she rummaged in one of her pouches as she walked over & produced a small circular metal case and placed it beside the man & gesturing at her own neck as she spoke "medicinal salve, stops bleeding from small cuts, prevents infection, soothes burns & pains where it's applied also helps prevent scarring!" Katia chirped up in a more cheerful tone as she finished the sentence not answering the mans question.

Katia then climbed up onto the bar sitting on it, then spinning round half way & hopping off the bar-top again now behind the scorched counter as she went to pry her spear out of the wall the wall severely cracking as the spear blade came loose with a sigh of relief after inspecting her spear she rested it against the wall again as she turned back towards the group "please feel free to use the salve if your hurt guys..." she gave a friendly smile as she tried to let everyone know they could use the salve if needed. Feeling a little awkward now as her slight phobia of crowds began to surface a little now that the adrenalin of combat began to subside Katia looked along the shelf's behind the bar finding several undamaged wine bottles as she nabbed one for herself popping it open & taking a light sip before leaning over counter trying to relax a little while attempting not to make direct eye contact with anyone as she grew increasingly nervous surrounded by the strangers her phobia slowly growing as she took another sip to help steady herself, that said Katia's eye occasionally wandered towards the other girls in the place but quickly averted when they looked back towards her, Katia was desperately hoping her face wasn't turning red in-front of everyone.

Tobias backhanded a charging skeleton with his shield arm sending the creature flying to the ground where two town guardsmen as if rehearsed hacked it apart with their weapons without a pause before resuming the fight elsewhere, The town guards had rallied in the street forming solid fighting units supporting each other unlike before when they where scattered and initially scared of the creatures. The guards now with experience knowing they can cut them down fight-on with renewed enthusiasm steadily containing the immediate threat to the town & its populous. "They actually look like a trained fighting force now instead of a militia rabble... least this experience will help them deal with things to come..." Tobias calmly speaking to himself as he stood observing his surroundings making sure everything was progressing well.

Meanwhile...

The fighting continued in the heavily burnt pub the people fighting inside & the demon were briefly interrupted when a spear with three skulls impaled on it, like bits of meat on a kabab-skewer came flying through a burnt out window and passing between the armored demon & the person he was focused on before it dug itself deeply into one of the bar's walls as a metallic noise rang from it. There was a brief pause but no one seemed to follow after the weapon, a little while later as the fighting had resumed for a bit, a skeleton came crashing through another window shattering the still intact glass-panel as the skeleton shattered in pieces as it hit the bar floor, a short sword was stuck in what was the creatures shoulder blade however again a brief pause and still no one appeared while the fighting continued on a little further.

Then after some nearby yelling from outside several skeletons came crashing through the previously breached doorway on-top of each other as a large wooden barrel had been hurled at them, which loudly shattered after crushing the skeletons on the floor (and almost hitting the people inside near the doorway) water splashed fourth as the barrel broke soaking the wooden floor, some of it splashing the lower leg of the armored demon in the process.

No later after the barrel had shattered Katia enthusiastically barged into the pub to observe her handy work with the last three, When she noticed the others & the huge creature they were fighting. Katia taking in the situation calmly looked at the others while pointing her thumb in a gesture towards the demon "i take it he's the boss of the undead things then?" she asked politely as her other hand was already reaching for one of the axes on her belt, to join in the fray and help the others out as the demon looked like trouble.

Tobias continued to lead a slowly growing formation of local guards steadily through part the main street as shield bearers held a steady line while advancing as other guardsmen wielding two-handed weapons followed in support cutting down any demons that got though or aiding the front line guardsmen as they tried to press on in combat. Seeing now they had a plan of action now fighting together as a group instead of spread out separate fights Tobias had brief words with one of the more senior guardsmen next to him both nodding acknowledging the discussion Tobias dropping out of the formation as the senior guardsman kept the formation going steadily trying to secure more of the street.

Tobias ran over to other isolated guards aiding them in cutting down the skeletons they where holding off and rallying another small group of fighters together when he heard someone yell "Help? Anyone!" he searched for the caller looking around when he noticed an oddity two skeletons facing away near what looked like a crossbow on a stand, after stepping two paces to the side to get a better view through the fighting around him he finally noticed a Gnome was trying to hold the skeletons off. Tobias turned to the group of guards next to him "Right lads stick together & try to push over the them guards in that formation over there!" He looked at the fresh faced guardsmen pointing at two of the less terror-stricken ones as he spoke "You and you follow me!" Tobias rushed off with two of the guards following him the rest heeding his orders as they headed off towards their comrades. Tobias could see the Gnome in trouble as he hoped she could hold out a little longer as he was trying to cut a path over to her but the skeletons where tenacious constantly getting in his as he tried pushing over towards her.

A skeleton almost leaped at Tobias grabbing onto his shield stopping him as three more rushed him & the guards following, Tobias grunted in frustration but thankfully as he glanced back over towards where the Gnome was another young woman had gone to the Gnomes aid slicing one of skeletons with an axe. Now returning his attention to the annoyance clawing at his shield & shoulder plate Tobias slammed his sword down into the ground then in almost one fluid movement with his now free hand grabbed the flaming skeletons skull & hurled it through the air into the side of a stone wall the creature shattering on contact landing in a nearby puddle its flames extinguishing as parts landed, Not wasting a moment Tobias brutally kicked at the nearest skeletons pelvis pinning the creature to the ground and under the weight of his armored boot shattering its pelvis robbing the creature of its legs as it continued frantically clawing at his leg armor before he lifted his leg & brought his foot down on its skull smahing it into pieces the creature immediately falling lifeless. Tobias grasped the hilt of his sword yanking it back out of the ground as he turned to the two guardsmen following him both having dispatched two of the skeletons on their own and giving them an approving nod as he lead on over to the two girls.

Tobias sheathed his sword as he approached them & lent over picking up the axe the woman had dropped in the melee as he then offered it back to its owner pointing haft towards her as he spoke "Good on ya lass!, not any other youngsters as pretty would be willing to fight these things". he spoke in a kind tone, not a moment after finishing his sentence however he heard a familiar & overzealous voice yell "YEA!, WHO'S NEXT!" Tobias smiled muttering "actually, never mind there are..." sighing slightly as he did so but still grinning at his own thoughts. Tobias then turned his attention to the Gnome taking note of the crossbow mumbling to himself further "they're definitely are... whats up with youngsters these days...". The two guardsmen grinning as they overheard everything though the younger guard kept trying not to noticeably look at the Gnome lassie while turning slightly red in the face despite the surrounding situation.

After handing the weapon back to its owner Tobias turned to the Gnome putting his hand on her head patting her like he would a child "Sorry i couldn't make it over earlier! littlin but you got lucky!" Tobias nodded towards the Gnomes rescuer, "You really should find a decent vantage point to fight from & not leave ure self out in the open in future ok!". Tobias totally oblivious to what the Gnome had accomplished with the burning building, Just then one of the guard cut down another skeleton that had charged them Tobias nodded "Right can't wait here all day!" he then drew his sword and readied to fight more of the skeletons approaching.

Meanwhile Katia continued to run rampant thoroughly enjoying herself as others fought on desperately for their very lives, She found herself now encircled by a group of the skeletons she'd distracted earlier grinning away like a demon-possessed as she checked her surroundings as one of the skeletons made a move before getting hit's head shattered from quick head-on blow from Katias spear, which she quickly followed up with a lighting array of moves swipeing the legs out from two of the skeletons, then immediately forcing her half turn from the swing back as she turned slicing at another skeleton smashing in in half before dropping to one knee & rolling forward still in mid turn as she stood back up slicing clockwise again taking out several more the third skeletons head sent flying and smashing into other demons skull in the distance killing another.

Katia having witnessed the totally unintended result snorted as she tried to refrain from bursting out laughing at the skeletons, before returning her attention to the remaining four that had formally been part of the group encircling her. Katia took several paces towards them spinning her spear from hand to hand before abruptly smacking the pommel of the spear a good couple inches into the ground allowing the spear to stand on its own as Katia walked four more paces towards them drawing a hand-axe from her left hip and one of her short sword from its scabbard at her lower back smiling almost seductively as she approached the skeletons. As if on cue one motioned to charge at Katia, who had counter charged on reflex cleaving downwards with her axe splitting the skeleton where it stood the one next to it barely had time to move before the tip of a short sword was driven into the skeletons forehead shortly before it's skull split in two as both skeletons dropped lifelessly to the ground.

As if on cue one of the remaining two skeletons now slightly behind her charged as did the other from her side, Katia dropped down to her left knee seemingly not even having to think about her situation. The demon approached from slightly behind grabbing now at air missing katias head as she dropped as the under-edge of an axe blade hooked onto the side of one of the skeletons leg swiping the creature off its feet, Katia raising back up as she did so her right arm swinging forcefully downward from overhead at the second skeleton charging her smashing its skull in from above, Katia in a quick & graceful matter stepped slightly to the side at the second skeletons body fell to the ground lifelessly. Katia now less gracefully rushed over to the downed skeleton stamping down on its ribs effectively crushing them in the process as she hammered the axe into its head killing it as well after which she stood up ran over to a bucket of water plopping her left foot into it to extinguish the fire after getting carried away and stamping down on the last kill remembering only afterwards that she doesn't wear full metallic body armor like Tobias so she cant mimic all of his fighting moves, at least against flaming undead creatures anyway...

Shaking off the momentary lack of judgement & slight embarrassment Katia sheathed her weapons as she ran back over to her spear prying back out of the ground just before more skeletons make their way over as she was still standing in between them & some of the more newly arrived town guards, taking up a new stance as she leveled her spear as excitement gripped her again, instantly forgetting her previous lapse in judgement as she yelled at her new attackers "YEA!, WHO'S NEXT!" before charging off towards them with sheer bloodlust & excitement.

Several civilians fled along one of the side streets trying to outrun a group of skeletons chasing after them, they only slowed slightly as they brought down some poor innocent not fast enough or caught off guard while coming to investigate the noise. In the panic, screams, & chaos the fleeing innocents had no idea where they where heading barely noticing the young woman that flew past them with astounding agility the fear stricken civilians only became aware when they heard the encouraged laughter & yelling now behind them along with the sounds of fighting. Stunned as they where not realizing they had stopped moving to watch what was going on, as they witnessed the young girl fly into the group of skeletons flailing, slashing, & twirling a spear around her in constant flowing movements while sending bits of bone & skeletal limbs flying in all directions.

"WoooooHooo! YEA! COME AN GET IT!" Katia ran into her opponents screaming like a madwoman at the top of her voice as she carved into them wildly swinging her spear in broad strokes slicing through two to four skeletons with each swing and promptly closing the distance every-time a gap between her & the monsters occurred in an attempt to limit their reactions. The stunned locals watched with mixed fear & awe as a heavily armored man walked past them while fiddling with one of his armor straps he grinned "Don't mind her she's been stuck on a boat for a while..." Tobias finished with the strap on his armor as he continued to speak to the onlookers. "Head down to the pier there will be some armed guards that served as security for the cargo ships and the local guards will surely be there shortly as well" Tobias nodded to the terrified rabble of locals as he walked off towards Katia who was still running wild up the small street one of the civilians shouted a thanks towards Tobias before they started moving again following his advice.

One of the skeletons which was now legless was dragging itself along the ground in an attempt to go after the young girl who'd hacked its legs off oblivious to the heavily armored boot from behind that abruptly shattered its skull into the ground as Tobias continued on. Tobias Eventually caught up to Katia just at the end of the street where it joined into the main street near the majority of the fighting and the burning pub. Katia quickly dispatched two more skeletons one with a broad upper-right swing sending it's skull flying into a nearby wall as its body dropped and the second that came charging towards her which she literally sliced it in half after a powerful downward swing from over head her spear ringing loudly as it smacked into the ground as the skeleton burst into pieces on the spot, not wasting a second she twirled the spear in the air before bringing it to rest at her side with the blade now pointing towards the ground and the hilt behind her left shoulder.

Katia stood there watching the fighting as more warriors came running into assist and noticing a walking suit of armor walking into the burning building after forcing someone to dodge its attack, "Wow, its a total battle here..." Tobias overhearing as he appeared at her side "Battle?, this is little more than a small skirmish compared to whats back up north" He wasn't too pleased after traveling so far to avoid it, the chaos was already spreading here as-well although still seemed to be in it's early stages if his past experience & memories where anything to go by... Tobias pausing for a moment considering their options, when Katia interrupted him "Oh come-on!, ya don't have to dampen the mood grandpa!" roguishly sneering as she finished, her expression was promptly removed from her face after a light bump on the back of her head as Tobias in a dark tone after hitting her for the comment "It'll be the last battle you see if i hear you call me grandpa again lass" his intimidating threat was betrayed by the warm smile on his face as he returned his attention to the ensuing chaos.

Katia with a huge grin spoke up as she watched the fighting "Man these things are weak..." Tobias cut her off before she could finish her train of thought "Least they're not wielding weapons & gear, but just watch it as weak as they may be in numbers they're dangerous" Tobias glanced at Katia and her spear remembering she charged alone through the side street they arrived from. "Well for NORMAL people like me at least" He jested as he took off drawing his blade to assist the town guards, he hadn't cut down several skeletons before a handful of the local guards rallied at the side of this intimidating armored giant of a man as he slowly worked his way into the center of the fighting assisting or helping save any of the fighters who where struggling.

Katia Stood there grinning and nodding for a moment as Tobias headed off drawing his sword from its scabbard before his words eventually hit her, her mood instantly switching into anger and annoyance as she took off after Tobias slicing through any straggling skeletons in her path "Hey!, just what do you mean by NORMAL people?!!!" Getting slightly drawn off course by surviving skeletons that survived the steady advance before Katia promptly dispatched them while still trying to get over to Tobias as she did so "Tobias get back here!, you saying I'm weird?... I know u can hear me!, Hey!..." Eventually she gave up letting the issue drop for now, returning her attention to the fight as another group of guards who recently arrived in support engaged the skeletons, "guess I'll go help them.." Katia took off towards the second group but instead of moving towards the guards and help she charged into another group of skeletons which were moving in behind the ones the guards were already fighting, Katia carved into several of them with a single swing of her spear and drawing the skeletons attention away from the other fighters & guards, her cheerful & overly excited mood returning as she fought on dodging, weaving, & attacking mercilessly against the undead monsters.

Their boat had eventually docked, the boarding planks connected the ship to the dock for passengers to safety get off & rigging had been set-up for hoisting cargo onto the pier from the ship, which both Tobias & Katia where helping the crew load the cargo into the rigging nets. Katia passed Tobias for the twentieth time sneered at him as she spoke "I cant believe you stopped me from going to visit the town & getting off this boat!, you know how long I've been wanting off this ship Tobias!" Katia stops just as she loudly drops several crates onto the netting before walking past Tobias to get more. Tobias just sighed walking past carrying several large crates that would normally take two men to lift one of, "Look we got a place on-board for free, and they got us here the least we could do is spend a little more time helping out, we'll be living on land from here out anyway so you'll get off the boat soon enough so stop moaning...".

Tobias delicately placed the crates down on the rigging net and when he stood back upright he heard shouting coming from the direction of the town, His attention abruptly interrupted by another load thud as Katia unceremoniously dropped another crate down onto the others but she noticed the shouting from the town as-well as she enthusiastically spoke up "Sounds like a lively place at least...".

As they stood looking towards the town other members of the ships crew joined them as the shouting & yelling got louder as all began wondering what was going on. Then a building in the distance burst into flames Katia after tilting her head & placing her hands on her hips as she jested "A very lively place if that's anything to go by huh?!" She turned to face Tobias with a comical grin which faded as she saw his serious expression. it wasn't long before people came running along the docks yelling "monsters!, at the tavern!, run!" for all to hear. Several families that had gotten off worryingly scurried back on-board the ship as the captain hearing the cries walked over to Tobias horror-stricken as he spoke "How we sailed so far from the north to get away from even the early signs of the horrors they should be months behind us if not a couple of years how..." he trailed off as Tobias spoke up "Evidently the demons don't use conventional travel like the rest of us do" in an almost sarcastic tone of voice. Tobias turned tapping Katia on her shoulder "come on, grab some gear and we will go take a look", and with that the both of them went below deck to the crew quarters to get some of their gear & weapons so they could investigate what was going on in this foreign town.

@GoddessSophia Sorry, mixture of connection issues, real life stuff, sidetracked with other stuff (Rp's/comp-games), & general forgetfulness :)

Again, Sorry i'll read over whats happened thus far etc... to catch up, Just a quick summery are kingdoms done/decided & on to characters & lore etc? or just add ideas with anything still?.
