*looks around*

It helps you learn why some program didn’t work.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

You seem more informed about the process than I do… what is debug?

It helps you figure out what triggered a bug by analyzing what made a process crash.

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

What do you think would be the alternative?

My fear is that something is planted in the debugger that we don’t want to run.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Not that I could notice out of the ordinary. Not that it was normal.

I see... so the only remain question is—

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Couldn't find any results, really. All purged.

—do we let this thing run its debug process?
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>

Cutting corners ain't always cool.

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

They tested it on viruses, did you pick up that from your end?

Nope, nothing in that level of detail. How did that turn out?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Do you think that whatever it was when it attempted to replicate within Sam, it caused him to go into that frenzied state??

That could have something to do with it. Did you notice anything about Sam’s code during that battle?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

It sounds like it makes sure that it is stuck there, like a revive point.

Although it didn’t restore Sam’s old, crazed state. The program looks like it crashed when you fixed him.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

I could recover fragments before. Far from complete, probably farther from complete than it isn't.

Maybe between the two we could find some semblance of a source. Anything else in there?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Bits and pieces. Is 02's incomplete as well?

It’s the full program, but it’s compiled. Debugging symbols help a lot, but it would take some effort to reconstruct the original.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

That's what I'm inferring. I can give you what I copied. The stuff I read about before helping Rhythm out was just called "Purge01". Unless you think tacking the underscore-zero-two at the end means something else?

It sounds like makeshift version control to me. Do you have a copy of the source code so we can compare them?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

The results of it were the thing I was able to find the least info on. So much of it was wiped, I really wish I knew.

What kinds of details do you have? You said this is the second iteration?
