A timer would be meaningless to us though. It's really hard to tell.

<Snipped quote by Server>

I'd have to double check.
*Pulls out a small tablet device and loads up the data to do so*

The condition is worse, right? I doubt it’s a shortening timer.
<Snipped quote by Server>

Wait... Has she? Did I miss that?

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Yeah. But that means it has a timer, or a trigger that isn't just "new info needs purged", right?

Right. It has to be something more complex than that.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Yes. I was trying to see if it really was instant and we just missed it until now. Doesn’t seem to be.

No, but it clearly works fast enough.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

*Frowns, then speaks with repeated intonation*
... How about now? It clearly doesn't do anything instantly, because I assume you still remember that we've told you about your sister as of right now at least, right?

<Snipped quote by Server>

I'll never think otherwise.

You mean when you asked whether I remembered you talking about some kind of sister?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

It's possible. It clearly doesn't do anything instantly, because I assume you still remember that we've told you about your sister as of right now at least, right?

Uh...
<Snipped quote by Server>

*Wraps my arms around you in a huge, comforting hug*
Here's hoping more info proves it's something else.

<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

I didn't either, or else I would have been more eager to share it.

<Snipped quote by Ignacious>

Based on what we have now, at least.

Are you thinking that it’s deleting and restoring modified memory on the fly? And that it could have the same effect on dad?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

The only way we've seen, at least. But I don't know. Like I said, it's just a theory. A big, huge, crackpot theory. And you two having forgotten about each other again when we first met up here today is just what tipped it over the edge for me.

I... don’t love that idea.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

I don't really know much of anything about Sam to say, but possibly?

<Snipped quote by Server>

Okay. If Melody was willing to apply the program to herself as 01, and not just some arbitrary, meaningless test subject, then what if the other three subjects are also not arbitrary? What if those other three subjects are other people who are important to her who she'd also want to have the benefits of the program. Those specific three people, no more and no less. An exact collective of three other individuals, one of which we can't account for, and the other two of which we know are having trouble with their memory. And not just a single instance of having trouble with their memory, but as of meeting here today, have proven to have had their altered memory restored to a state where they didn't know about each other.
*Glances down at the floor, avoiding eye contact with anyone*

If we’re infected too, why is this the only way it’s manifested? Just basic memory issues?
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Hm…

I’ll keep digging.
<Snipped quote by Webmaster>

Not necessarily. But her user info was the only one who accessed the experiment data at all, on top of all the info about the specifics of the work being wiped.

<Snipped quote by Server>

I'm not stopping short now, because I'm unfortunately not done.

So are you saying that the mom we saw was her corrupted version, like Sam’s?
