You know, one of the things mom said during the event really stuck with me. She said that she knew that her twisted sense of meaning and purpose had been there in the beginning, deep down. She knew because she had apparently planted a backdoor in my code before any of this even began. Maybe I’m the twisted one, but I think that’s encouraging in these circumstances.

The tool that detects what went wrong tried to find the other test subjects, and it checked exactly the places we went to when we tried to find mom.
