I do sort of agree with @Esterdi. It seems kind of silly to have almost everyone in the RP to join one group to make it through the jungle, especially when you take into account that Lao started the attack.

I'll continue on for now, but Lao is certainly not going to receive any sympathy from Nova.
Not really my call to make, though I'd say yes if it were. I'll PM Cynder to see if we can get some motion back into this or if it would be okay for me & Mana to take over.
*Whispers* I can't waiiiiiit!

Also... I start my new job tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be able to get on. Just a heads up in case I can't.
I don't see why not. Maybe another person will help spark this thing back to life.
@United

"Chill out, you're going to end up knocking something important over." Jade shook her head and entered the library, ignoring the excited dragon. She inhaled the musky scent of old leather-bound books, a gentle smile taking over her features. This is what home felt like to her, her strengths in the house. "Alright." She said, after taking a minute to admire the scenery. "Help me find construction plans for the house and maybe a personal journal if you can." Jade called out, stepping forward to start scanning the bookshelves. "Oh, and if you set fire to anything in this room, so help me I will end your life in less than a heart beat." The glare she shot Jack was hotter than any dragon fire, her protectiveness over books clearly more serious than that of Mocha and the other two.
Nova looked at Rhea with confusion, sensing some of her agitation, though at what she couldn't tell. Instead of dwelling on it Nova chose to wear a smile and extend her hand in greeting. "I'm Nova, it's a pleasure to meet you." She hoped that she could become friends with the Wielder too. She didn't seem to be as unique as some of the others with her Wielding element, but the skills and quick thinking displayed by the girl were brilliant in her eyes. The eyes that had begun wandering now that things had cooled off between everyone. Nova had reached her limit at suppressing her extra 'sense', all of the feelings of the jungle now pouring in.

She could feel other students in the distance, animals and plant life alike, the life of the very forest surrounding them were all things she could "see". Usually it was toned down, but this was the result of trying to ignore it all... Even if it were only for a brief amount of time. Her distracted gaze wouldn't hinder her ability to keep up with Olivier and Rhea, however she had begun humming a song softly to herself, admiring the scenery as they walked on.

When the guards came for her Kasari was certainly surprised. There were many prettier girls in her country, and Gems more likely to submit to every Drakken whim. It wasn't as if Kasari planned to disobey, but she figured they'd disapprove of a Gem with a mind. Sighing heavily, Kasari walked herself out to the carriage, waving a final goodbye to her family as they rolled away. The journey was long, too long for the girl with testy patience, Kasari fidgeting in her seat as they travelled. "Nervous, Gem?" The guard sitting with her asked, a smirk on his face. Kasari rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Not quite. I'm bored, is there nothing interesting to do before we get there." The look she received from the guard was enough to have her laughing for the rest of the trip, the utter disbelief that the girl was bored instead of scared. Another reason she never thought she'd be picked.

Kasari shrugged off the guards' attempts to pull her along, pointing her nose to the air in annoyance. "I can walk on my own, thank you very much." Her first mistake. Kasari fell to the ground, wide-eyed, as the guard's hand slammed into the side of her face. The blow was enough to draw blood from the side of her lip, the Gem stunned by the attack. While recovering, the man half-dragged her into the room she'd be changing in. She groaned at the fact that she'd be changing in front of a man that would not even be her husband, rolling her eyes a second time. Not wishing to be hit again, Kasari took a deep breath and stripped, changing into the scarce fabric that shone as red as the fire she controlled. Not wanting to seem like she was hiding behind her long, brown hair, Kasari pinned the bulk of it up to expose her pronounced collar bones. If these guys were looking for a show, she was going to give it to them. She paused, taking a moment for herself. Raising her pale green eyes to the ceiling, Kasari prayed that she would at the very least survive her future encounters with the beast nation of the Drakken.

Obviously having taken more time than the guards would have liked, one of the men grabbed her by the bicep and practically pushed her into the ballroom with the other Gem brides and the Noblemen. Kasari was unsure, but she thought she heard the man hiss behind her, warning her to behave. Straightening herself out, Kasari marched herself up to the line, the nerves finally beginning to set in. Now that she was standing in front of them, Kasari's mind began to race, all of the negative thoughts she had been pushing away. Boredom was not something that was in her vocabulary now and the longer she stood there, the more she could taste the lingering metallic rust of her own blood in her mouth.

Actually, I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle a second character for this one. With a posting rate this fast, I might just have to stick with one.

Sorry sorry. I'll write an intro ASAP... I'm out for the Mortal Kombat launch.
Nova stood back away from the conflict, watching from a safe distance. With all of the Wielders at each others throats Nova knew that she probably wouldn't stand a chance is they all started fighting again, especially now that her weapon had been destroyed. Poking her head out from behind a nearby tree, she watched with wonder at Olivier's dark and mysterious power. She had never heard of another Wielder with abilities like his, so terrifying and fascinating at the same time. "I'm sure glad I'm on your good side." She mumbled to herself with a chuckle, hiding as yet another Wielder showed up, spouting flames where flames should not have been. "This is getting ridiculous."

Sensing Olivier's rage, Nova stepped out, hoping to see the situation to a conclusion. She hesitated, looking at the others before rushing off after Olivier, recognizing him as her only ally at that moment. "I'll give you some company." She smiled warmly in an attempt to make him feel better, not liking to see people she considered friends upset.
