Caden looked around, taking him a few moments to spot the dock before he began the short jog over. "Sorry about the shirt again, I'm clumsier than usual tonight." He chuckled nervously as he apologized to Jess for the third time. "I appreciate the place to stay for the night."
Caden's phone buzzed in his pocket, drawing his attention away from his peaceful thoughts. Reading the text, Caden laughed to himself. It wasn't as if he'd been drinking all that much, but who was he to turn down an offer like that? Not to mention he had to really apologize to whoever he'd slammed into (for the second time). He wasn't entirely sure but he was could have sworn that it was the same Adelisa that Jess had just mentioned. Okay, that works. Where should I meet you? He replied as he stepped out of the water and grabbed his shoes, letting his feet sink into the sand as he slowly approached the rest of the party.
Nova chuckled to herself as she readjusted the man's weight and began leading him away from the bulk of agents, all of which were running around collecting their things before returning to give their reports. Approaching the ambulance, she noticed it's occupation by an 'upset' civilian. "They witness one fight and suddenly they're traumatized." She growled to herself, flashing her badge to the paramedic before staring the patient down coldly. "Beat it... Before you end up like that guy back there." Nova motioned to the giant corpse left behind by Flash Bang, watching as the horrified witness rushed away still wrapped in her shock blanket. "Miss, you can't just go around scaring off the patients." The paramedic frowned disapprovingly as Nova set the man down where the woman had been sitting, shooting the young man a glare that radiated aggressive power. "This man was in a head on fight with the idiot you see back there. This badge? Says I'm entitled to rid you of your phony "shock" cases to get this man the medical attention he requires. Don't test my patience." She hissed at the young man, watching him jump into action.

Pleased with the outcome of her threats, Nova relaxed her body and crossed her arms while she waited for the paramedic's report. "So, Mr. Robin Hood... Why don't you tell me a little about yourself while this guy figures out what's wrong with you? Maybe start with a name so I can stop referring to you as a children's book character?" She wasn't expecting to get much out of the guy, but every little piece of information helped to create the profiles for the list of vigilantes NAIL kept.
I am going on a roadtrip so I will be silent for a good amount of the day for a few days but will try to post if anything super important is happening.

You good! Enjoy your trip.
@WeepingLiberty Have a belated welcome back! I hope you had a fun time!

It was fantastic! Y'all should meet me there next year. XD

@Wraithblade6
Quite an interesting character indeed, however I am sorry to say that we are full now. The topic won't let me change the join status so I'll be changing the name to reflect that soon. Sorry for the confusion and trouble.
Caden was wandering mindlessly, deciding whether he was willing to risk one drink before driving home later. Telling himself it couldn't hurt, the boy began making his way in the direction of the beer. He had only reached the outskirts already when a girl slammed right into him. The force knocked him back a step and the result was beer spilled all over the both of them. "I'm so sorry, I should have been paying more attention." He stumbled through his sentence hoping that he hadn't upset her. Much to his surprise she was rushing through a similar apology which ended with her name and number written on his hand. "Wait, you don't have to-" Caden spun around to stop the girl from running off but he'd already lost her in the crowd.

"I'm here for all of ten minutes and I end up spilling Jess' beers... Of all the people." He sighed and fixed the beanie that had shifted out of place. Caden continued mulling around, deciding that his encounter with Jess was the universe telling him not to drink and drive. Through all of the mayhem, he hadn't noticed his necklace had untucked itself and now hung in plain sight, flashing its dark colors in the dim lighting. Not even five minutes later he turned and slammed right into another girl, reaching his arm out to steady her while his head spun. "Not again... I'm sorry." He groaned, looking up just in time to see her staring at the color of his necklace before running off. "Damn this light, how am I supposed to apologize to her properly. That was Adelisa right? Isn't Blake friends with her?" He mumbled to himself, backing his way out to the outskirts of the crowd once again. He whipped out his phone to text Blake, but remembered the number written on his hand. "Should probably text her now in case the number washes off." He entered the number into the phone with a short message. Sorry about earlier. Don't worry about the shirt. Sliding his phone back into his pocket, Caden made his way to the edge of the beach to watch the waves, kicking off his shoes to the water could run around his ankles.
@WeepingLibertyI see you went offline so I will post bump, spill, and apologize and give you my number to Caden and some money for drycleaning apologizing and leaving. Also Decker does not know who I am.

Hahaha, sorry about that. Like I said, a long flipping day. I'm awake now, thanks for letting me know what went down.
ok @WeepingLiberty i will as soon as @Savi whom i am not in a hurry for to reply, with what i need to get her characters and ill then bump into you and only spill beer on myself.

Don't be shy. Spill the beer over everyone! XD It's been a long day for me, so I'm not quite sure how much longer I can last. Just a heads up on where I'm at if I suddenly stop responding.
@WeepingLibertyWould you be ok if my character accidently walks into Caden while getting herself a beer and ends up pouring it all on herself? I mean it is going to happen with someone and I figured it is better if it is with a character who seems nice than with a stranger at the party. And it is a good icebreaker to enter the story again.

Go for it. XD
Caden had sat in silence for a little while after Decker had left. He never knew what to make of the guy, one minute complaining over an ex and then the next trying to pick up a new girl. The boy sighed at the thought. "I'll never understand how we ended up friends." He mumbled to his dog, who simply yawned and lowered his head for a nap. Taking that as his cue, Caden decided he might as well do something with the rest of his night. From what he had heard, there was a birthday party going on. He hadn't been invited personally, but the invitations had already gotten a bit out of control. No one would notice one extra guy. Throwing on his beanie and converse, Caden tucked in his necklace and grabbed a soda to go, shutting to door softly behind him.

Hopping into his parents' car, Caden jammed out to his favorite bands up until the point he pulled up to the party. There were various faces he recognized, but none particularly stood out as anyone he'd spend the party with. Too nervous to interrupt anyone's conversations, Caden began to wander around, sipping his can of soda as he walked.
