The near perfect representation of the destructive power of fire. She's impulsive and harsh, violently lashing out at all around her. This witch finds great pleasure in the sufferings of others and will find someone to torture if left alone for long enough. So far the only person able to wield such a flame for good use has been the clan leader Rose; a witch that Mirai has developed an undying loyalty and respect for.
History:
Mirai is a pureblooded witch, coming from a long line of witches that have hidden themselves in plain sight since the downfall of the original great coven. Born with the fiery personality of her ancestors, her family had a difficult time hiding their existence from humans. She believed that witches shouldn't have to hide from the world, that humans should bow at their feet and move according to their whims. This clash in beliefs led to Mirai striking out on her own to cause trouble. Burning farms, threatening travelers... She enjoyed every minute of it, consumed by power.
After a while she settled herself into one of the far corners of the forest surrounding the mountain. It was here she would rest, hidden within the mountain whilst using a run down shack as a decoy/lure. It became a fun little game of hers to use this method to draw in ambitious hunters and toy with them until their deaths. That was until one particular fellow wandered in, and managed to steal a pendant of rare variety from her amongst her belongings. Rather than killing him right away she followed him to see what it was that he wanted with such an object. Discovering it was for the health of his beloved, Mirai cold-heartedly intervened. Giving an ultimatum, she offered the pendant in exchange for his servitude... the only catch? If he disobeyed her or betrayed her in any way, she would take the pendant back leaving the girl to die.
A few years have gone by since she acquired Arden, training him to control his magical outbursts as well as a few tricks here and there. For the time being, however, he remains more of her entertainment than an actual tool for work.
Special Power:
Touch of flame: Mirai's specialty is fire magic however her strongest point is in close combat, mixing magic with physical strength. Her lack of patience makes targeting from a distance difficult for her and is rarely accurate in this regard.
Things they look for in a partner:
Strength... But perhaps not quite in the way you might think.

Name: Nymphadora Brookes

Personality:
Nymphadora represents the more regal side of nature, bearing soft edges and warm smiles. These can be quite deceptive though, as she's actually incredibly spiteful. Quick to anger, this small sprite won't hesitate to tear you apart and feed you to the wolves. She doesn't care much for people or their lives, but holds the highest respect for plant life.
History:
Growing up Nymphadora heard many stories about the witches of old. Tales told of their immense powers and their great fortresses, but of all the stories ever told there has always been one in particular that had interested her. The Glow Wood, a magical place filled to the brim with flora and fauna of all kinds and supposedly the most beautiful place in the whole world. But since the downfall of the Bloodrose coven, the forest had mysteriously disappeared. Rumors had spread of its possible locations but none ever panned out. Of all the wonders, Nymphadora found herself drawn to this one in particular, using this desire to find it as incentive to train in the magic arts.
Special Power:
Nymphadora's affinity is for the manipulation of the world's flora, though she has spent most of her time studying the art of alchemy.

Curiosity and a desire to learn, to explore. There are many secrets to the world but no fun to discover them alone.

Personality:
Silv is incredibly shy, frightened by most humans due to certain events in her past as well as even some of her own kind as noted by the distance she stands at. At her core she is quite caring though, always thinking of others before herself despite being uncomfortable around them. She'll seek solitude but often finds herself surrounded by the beasties of the forest, not at all intimidated by even some of the more aggressive ones.
History:
Silvienne had always been a pretty girl, blessed with clear skin and soft green eyes, so it came as no surprise when heads began turning her way. Captivated by her beauty, men would go following her around and women would curse her name as she walked by. When she was thirteen a couple of drunkards tracked her down while she was picking herbs from a field and attacked her, attempting to beat her into submission. As an orphan she had no one to come to her rescue, so she found herself chained up in an abandoned farm house for weeks. Half-starved and exhausted she waited for death to take her away, however he didn't come for her either. Her savior was found in the most unlikely of places when a beast known to roam the fields at night heard her crying. Mistaking her cry for one of those belonging to its cubs, the creature attacked the men and whisked the girl away, nursing her back to health.
It was during this time that she discovered that she had magical potential, born with the ability to speak to animals but not much else. For a while she lived with the creature in the forest, avoiding hunting parties and witches alike through most of her teenage years. It wasn't until recently that she decided to part ways and seek to learn "real" magic. Not wishing to relive her past, however, she covers her face with a mask carved from the bones of woodland critters.
Special Power:
Born with the ability to understand and speak to animals, however she is in the process of learning healing magic.

A protector, someone that can lift her from the darkness and solitude who is unaffected by the greed and lust of mankind.

Friend to all creatures, however there is one little grasshopper that refuses to leave her side. She's nicknamed him Jiminy.
