Annie - Error Wrecking Crew Above Municipal XIII Annie thought about the request for a moment and then shrugged her shoulders. "Sure, that's what we are here for, right?" She smiled. "Shall we go to the roof?" Leading the way out the apartment and up the access stairs, the girls find themselves in the open air above Rome on an under utilized rooftop. The late afternoon sun had burnt up the forgotten plants that had been abandoned shortly after they had blomed in spring. Annie set up one of them at the far corner of the rooftop and then instructed, "You protect it while I try to shoot it. Simple enough, yeah?"
Im wondering if small titles at the beginning of posts would help us stay organized. Like, nothing fancy just: [Character Name] - [Group Name] [Location Occasionally as it Changes] then too if a GM makes a global post vs a character post, that is easier spot as well. Just a suggestion. And I'm inside what roll GMs take here still. I'm used to RP with game mechanics.
Annie - USA "Back here," she called from the study. She folded the book shut on the finer points of the Dancer Embodiment spell, wondering why in the world a crab would be used in the depiction. She looked up as Seren walked in and smiled. "What's up?"
Annie - USA Location: Muni XIII With a loud huff, Annie set her supplies out on the great wooden table before her and opened an old and dusty book to a marked page. She had attempted this drawing of the Earth card several times already and each one had seemed to get worse. She looked back over the drawings and imagined herself drawing the same border patterns and runic text in volumes like a twisted punishment forever and then pushed the thought aside before it could overwhelm her. Earth was grounding and solid and strong. And Patient, she thought and wrinkled her nose at the idea. Annie was not. Not when it came to her own skills. She wanted to move quickly and get on to one of the more fun elements like water or air. Those were about movement and action. But her grandmother had insisted that there was an order to learning just as there was an order to the seasons. "How could she flow like water if she could not stand on the ground that held it? How could she fly with air if she had no where to land? How could she learn to be strong if she had not learned to grow?" Her grandmother had annoyed her with her endless, answerless questions. And Mary Beth just smirked, even less helpful than her mentor. Ink met paper and Annie began again, twisting runes into stone and dirt into magic. The image of a mountain worked its way across the paper but would not be contained by her lines and shortly she had gone off the page again. It didn't make sense! She looked at the book and then back at her own. The mountain was definitely larger than the card, yet somehow it was contained in the master image but came unbound in front of her. She would never master it, she concede and pushed the paper away. She heard the front door of the apartment open and Mary Beth answered someone in the front hallway but Annie couldn't tell which of her teammates it was. They weren't really a functioning team yet, which was another frustration to add to the list. Moving to Rome had seemed to come with a lot of them. She flipped through the old, magic book as she waited for whoever had stopped by to find her.
Timothy White "Yeah, I think he's pretty cute too," he said, offering his hand for a scratch behind Raini's winged ears and a friendly smile. Timothy is distracted long enough to get to the front of the line with Yoshi.
Name: Annie Marie Jones Screen Name: star_spangled_mage Age: 14 Experience Level: Magical Girl (First Act) Appearance: [working on image] Nationality: New York, NY, USA Personality: Annie is a nice girl, but a product of her time. She usually has music playing in her ear and a text message at her finger tips. She keeps her grades up and has a good relationship with her family, recently strained by the secret of using the magic cards, which her mother had not inherited. Though not particularly popular, Annie does have a serious and strong group of friends at school. Biography: Annie grew up with two parents, a baby brother, and a cat. On her twelfth birthday she was attacked by an Error that would have killed her if not for Mary Beth, a magical girl who Annie later discovered had been trained by her own grandmother. After the attack, Annie's grandma also revealed that she too had been a Magical Girl and had hoped her daughter, Annie's Mother, would be the next to learn. Instead, the talent did did not pass down through the generations and instead, fate chose another. Now it is Annie's turn to learn the magic and power of being a Magical Girl. Her grandmother and Mary Beth have brought her an old book with the key to her magical powers, which are only to be used against the Errors. Skills: Art - Annie has always had an affinity for drawing and painting what she sees, her hand and eye coordination being part of that skill. She uses this skill a lot as she masters and creates her own magic deck of cards. Mathematics - logic and numbers comes natural to Annie, though she may have a hard time explaining how she arrived at the correct answer. Public Transportation - growing up in Manhattan has given Annie a knack for figuring out railways, taxis, and even bus systems. It may not seem like an important skill until it's late, you're lost, and you just need to get home. Magical Power: Annie's magic comes from a book with magic drawn in it. These images represent powerful spells that can take a lot to master, which is represented by drawing your own set of cards. So far, Annie has successfully drawn four cards which include: "Hunter" - manifesting as a bow or gun, this spell is usually offensive but can also be used to track and observe a target "Gravity" - the gravity card can apply pressure as well as allow Annie to leap great distances and lighten heavy objects "Stone" - both petrification and sturdy protection, the stone spell can turn user or target into durable, immovable stone. "Wood" - a growth spell for plant and vegetation, this spell can bring renewed life as well.
Timothy White His eyes get bigger at the announcement of a dragon Pokemon. He'd never seen such a thing before. At mention of his knowledge, Timothy smiles and says, "Yep, and I plan to catch all the frog Pokemon in the world. This is Kero, he's a Froakie. He uses bubbles to protect himself and is going to evolve into a Frogadier some day." Keroma pats the bubbles on his chest and croaks in agreement. "Are you a dragon expert?" Timothy asks, looking back down at the dratini.
Timothy White The young boy unbeknowningly ends up waiting in the registry line, thinking he's in the cue for snacks. He looks up at Yoshi and then down at the dratini coiled at his feet. "Excuse me," he interrupts, pulling on the older trainers shirt. "What kind of Pokemon is that? It looks a bit like a tadpole but I've never seen one like that before. And I'm an expert on frog Pokemon." The last thing he says with a bit of puff in his cheat, proud and challenging of anyone that might question him of his expertise.
Id be interested in playing an Aztec pirate that uses stolen technology to lead away and confuse enemies to defend his home cities. As his people do not want to use the "white mans magic" he sees it as an opportunity and accepts being banished from the society he protects.
Timothy White "Did you see that, Kero? That was amazing! One day we're going to be able to fight like that!" "Froak! Froakie!" Agreed the little bubble Pokemon. "Alright, what's next?" Timothy said, looking around. "Shall we find a battle or look for a snack?" Though having recently eaten breakfast, Timothy was very aware of the snack vendors that went up with this event. Each year the spectacle of starting day became bigger and bigger, which seemed a nuisance to the older generations but a welcome treat to those Timothy's age. Licking his lips, Timothy turned to find some action. He turned in time to see several trainers getting off the bus and headed to a registration area and followed, hoping to find something good to eat there.
