Well, cheers back to you! Nothing wrong with being a Trekky, my Uncle has been one since it first came out. I remember playing with his Phaser TV remote as a child, it even made the sound effects when you pressed the buttons... they quickly muted those.

Hello to you all!

I was browsing around for somewhere to stretch my imagination, and after taking a look around your site, this seems like the place to do it. I figured I should post a topic to introduce myself and see what all is available.

I enjoy a little slower pace, writing either a paragraph or two, and really taking the time to weave a tale and experience as much as possible from the perspective of my character, whether in the first or third sense. As for genres, I'm somewhat flexible, although I prefer Fantasy/Adventure the most, with Science Fiction of the Space-themed variety a close second. I am very much interested in the mythical and supernatural, so I would be happy to roleplay something along those lines if it is well-thought out. Romance is fine with me, and I am also interested in trying my hand in either friendly rivalry or possibly an arch-enemy situation.

I apologize if my grammatical skills are a bit rusty, I used to dabble in some free-form writing, but I thought it would be more fun with another individual or even a small group if we can get on together with any frequency. Fair warning, I am a college student who works part time, so I will be on whenever I am not overburdened with homework or studying.
