16 or 20 is not too bad to learn as a class. It also means there will be enough to handle multiple threats in 2 or 4 teams with different goals. Just like when captain America's job was to rescue the hostages and Black widow's job was to secure the servers data.

That's exactly was thinking too. You just put it in a more concise and direct manner. XD

I want to keep the entire group one team, but that doesn't mean we can't split off into different groups to complete a task. I think that's very necessary. This is where the tagging mechanism comes into place, so once the IC is up, I will require that people tag each other when interacting with a player's character(s). With as many people as there are and as many characters, too, it's going to be tricky to keep track of everything. There's gonna be a lot of posts and it's going to be daunting. So, skimming is your best friend and reading in full the posts that have you tagged is the best option. Well, I mean, the best option is to read everything everyone posts ever in the IC thread, but...

Is that really realistic? *cough* this is me confessing that i'm guilty of not always reading everything.

@DrewVonAwesome

It's very intimidating, and I should have capped it a long time ago, but I'm weak and also wasn't paying attention when I should have. That's bad GMing on my part.

Anyway, with enough regulation and enough effort, I think it's very possible to keep track of what's important to you and your character. As, well, looking at everyone's CSes currently, I don't think it's going to be at all difficult to maintain individualism while also maintaining cohesiveness as a unit (both in the OOC and in the IC). I think we have a really, really good group of writers on our hands. There's a lot of us, but, I'm confident we can curb any moments that might overwhelm others or ourselves.

As a GM, I'll do my absolute best to regulate that. And it's why I also have a Co-GM to help out too.

And I'm sure I should probably offer up the last Co-GM spot to one of you willing candidates. ;D
@Apokalipse

i also want to take this time to thank my bullies who said aliens weren't real. you guys were wrong. suck my ass.

most amazing call out ever.

EDIT: no, I am not attracted to pans. but I will admit, pans can get pretty hot! *badum-tss*

jk get out.

ANYWAY. Everything is amazing, as usual and Guy is accepted. (Also how dare you kill his glorious mother. And also. His parents' meet-cute is very shippy AU like. I'm gonna steal this the next time I write fanfic of something, jsyk)
@HushedWhispers

That's totally fine and understandable. Sorry to see you go. Was looking forward to RPing with you. I'll still be looking forward too, though, hopefully in the near future. :D

Sorry for this big tag. I haven't made any massive changes or changes at all. I'm just mentioning people who have expressed interest and are still working on characters. If you've lost interest in any way, shape, or form, please say so. I won't be offended, at all. ;O

@Roosan

I've accepted your character via PM and I will reply to it in kind sooooooon(tm).

If I did a headcount, I'm looking at 15 people in total with the potential for more than one character. That's a large roster for a team. Anyone have qualms with that? I guess I should have stated in the beginning that my intent was one team of agents - I don't mind it being this big because everyone plays their roles in the dynamic. Those roles are pretty wide ranged themselves, so it goes without saying that everyone fills a nice spot in the team. I don't think we have too much of anything, really.

Saying that, I have uno friend dropping on board with a character of her own and that leaves us with 16 people. I think I'm gonna have to cap it there, lest we overrun our entire roster. :D That wouldn't be good. Kind would be overwhelming, I think. If we end up with a boat load of characters, I mean, SHIELD probably is very selective, so... I don't see a problem with that particular class being a class of 20. Weird for a college, I know, but SHIELD has agents in disguise as hipster college kids with their chai lattes and pumpkin spice and summer scarfs. The whole ordeal.

Anyway, my point being: once tomorrow hits I do fully intend to buckle down and start hammering out some fine details. Both in the IC and in the plot. That is no reason to rush your characters, however, as I'd like to have everyone ready and raring to go by the time the IC gets put up. But to detail everything out, the beginning Act, I wanna call it, to the RP will essentially be our introductions, settling in, roommates, class schedules, that ordeal. And then when everyone's gotten a hand on their characters, I do intend to bring our first big plot point into action - nothing insane right out of the gate, something small enough for these kids to handle, but large enough to be a decent threat. ;o

So, yeah. That's the plan for now. There's always a possibility that it will change, but don't be afraid or hesitate to through out ideas either here or in the PM depending on the nature of the idea. Any plot point ideas you guys have, whether for your character or an all encompassing event, throw them at me in PMs. But if we're talking about like 'What about an Shield Football team?' or something of that nature, I mean, feel free to discuss it here. That's just an example, though, you can talk about important stuff that can happen in between just not plot events.

Anyways, that's it for that announcement. Ahaha.

I'm sorry. I had a point to this.

This is me saying the RPs Full and Closed. And that only interest expressed after this post on the page prior:

@Kouki There are plenty of things Humans can do that our Asgardians aren't able to! Plus, they're really toned down for Asgardians.

Edit: I think after one or two more I'll close out registration. To those who have already expressed your interest and are still working on a character, no worries, I'll still be accepting your characters when you're done.

Is pretty much a no from me because I found my Plus One person like an hour after I posted it and she's above me.
@Kouki

No need to rush!! I am working on the IC soonish but I'm patient enough to wait for everyone to be finished before I put it up and get ahead of ourselves or anyone else. :p
@Everyone

I'm working on a class schedule right now, so expect one up sometime tonight!

Also, everyone cool with closing out new peeps now? You all still making characters or coming up with character ideas are officially apart of the RP unless denied (which I mean it's hard to do that as is; you're all amazing writers from what I've seen and none have really disappointed me in the character department, so... I'm pretty confident).

When I can, I'll tag everyone when I update the OP with the class list and have everyone give some input in on certain aspects of the class dynamic, as it were. If you'd like to discuss that now, feel free. Shoot out ideas for how you think the classes should be handled. I'm not sure where I should draw the line there. I've seen many School type RPs plummet because... Well, the rping out the actual classes was kinda boring and tedious, didn't move the plot.

The RP itself, I think I sufficiently implied it being a balance of character driven and plot driven. I gave a simple plot and have ideas to make it interesting. But, I'd love involvement and participation in creating it too because that's half the fun! (For some of us; understandable of people would rather focus on their own writing)

Anyway, I'll try to detail what I'm trying to convey better when I'm at a computer which should be close to 4 or so hours.

(Obviously the events I lay out will be under wraps and so will anything you give me personally. But things like how certain mechanics are handled, what we do between the events that helps drive the plot via character development will be up to you all. I mean not 100% I'm here to help and provide too, but, you know, you guys have a lot of free reign on creativity and writing yourselves.)

pls be blunt if I'm being very wishy washy
@knighthawk

Yeah, I figured as much.

But Mythbusters. One cannot resist bringing them up whenever possible.

Bamf - BUSTED.

I'm assuming they make the same noise when he teleports them. Bamf!
@MiddleEarthRoze

There's a lot of physics and math involved to calculate how fast the velocity of that card would have to be to be lethal.

Too much for my brain right now. So... GOOGLE!

You'd have to fling it at way way over 150mph to be even anywhere near lethal. Don't know the specifics tho. Thanks Mythbusters!
<Snipped quote by Winter Kitten>

Yeah, I know, it's just that my favorite character has always been Black Widow so the creation of a stealthy, close combat fighter was inevitable for me.

But, like Black Widow, I'm probably gonna be the one doing thirteen back flips, swinging off a dude to snap his neck while behind me you guys are just wrecking walls and freezing bitches...

Well, if you do all of that, we'll have a good size within the team to do some cool covert ops missions. Right now, there's Baba, Jaegar, and Garret that are pretty stealthy combatants. Now it's a matter of dressing up look fancy rich people and snapping necks at a gala!

(I'd be including everyone's characters in some way into more covert ops missions, but I think the guys I outlined have the most experience in the spy business. I'm not sure Bamf would appreciate concealing his mutation even for a mission. Ahaha *cough*)

Edit: @Angel Eyes More gay! More gaaaay. *puts in vote for gay black man*
