Personal Style: Rita is by no means someone who cares much about fashion. Her wardrobe consists mainly of the same basic pairs of jeans and warmish jackets, happy with being able to blend in with any crowd.
Sexuality: Straight
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: Rita strides through life in her own world. Detached from it all and unbothered. It's not that she's emotionally dead, she's perfectly capable of feeling joy or fear or pride, it's expressing said emotions that's tough. Rita values her isolation. preferring utter silence and stillness over all. Look at it the right angle and you could say she became an O.M.E.N. agent to bring that same calmness everywhere.
Rita doesn’t hold any strong predejuices either despite her childhood. While not an extreme fan of Necromantics, she won’t refuse to work with one if needed. She’s generally well meaning even if she constantly comes off as cold, irritated, or closed off but doesn’t care much if she’s seen as those things, convinced that if they think that, then they can’t be too good for her anyway because she believes that if they were truly good people, they’d learn to dig past the exterior and discover what’s within rather than judge solely based on first impressions.

What Is On Your Person:

Why You Were Recruited:
Rita already despised having to deal with her past, so why would she want to join an organization where she'd be forced to deal with all manners of the occult every day? While her past as a police officer would prove useful in O.M.E.N. along with her budding powers and knowledge on how to stop various paranormal happenings after years of pouring herself over books to fix her own problems, Rita never wanted to join O.M.E.N. at first. But what eventually did push her to allow herself to be recruited was in a way entirely selfish reasons. She saw the opportunity as a way to better repress her past, it's difficult to advance in witchery when you're taking down witches left and right, right? And also because knowing there was trouble and refusing to help slowly chipped away at her due to the immense guilt she felt until she one day threw up her hands and joined the effort. Not the most heroic of motives, and Rita understands that, but she's getting better at stomaching it.
Life Before the Altsoba Massacre:
Rita had a relatively normal childhood, albeit a little more emphasis on the religious than most. However, it was never to the point where it was oppressive and restricting. That is until her witch side started to come out.
Rita never had an interest in the occult at first, as far as she was concerned then, it was all a bunch of nonsense she wanted no part in but the bad part is a hereditary witch can't exactly choose to not have a magical past. And so her powers came on regardless, being fired off in random bursts only to then never show up for weeks before acting up again. But seeing as her witch ancestors were never public practitioners, the excuse of "oh she's a child of an old witch" never came up, instead, her family was quick to point the finger at curses and demons that no amount of cleansings or prayers could fix but they tried nonetheless. Resulting in a very religious oriented life later on which Rita only barely tolerated.
It wasn't years later when Rita eventually moved away from her home and took a job up as a cop after getting her degree that she eventually discovered the true reasons for these occurrences after a lucky/unlucky discovery after browsing some of her ancestry records. But she didn't embrace her past after finding out, only wishing to keep it further hidden away from all prying eyes. It wasn't something she was scared or ashamed of, only disgusted by. Knowing that a simple roll of the genetic dice was what caused her family so much strife. That a simple switch in her DNA is the reason why she spent so long trying to repress all feelings to keep her power under control.
Life Since the Altsoba Massacre:
The massacre was a shock nationwide, everyone wondering the who, whats, and whys, even Rita! Even if she didn't show it well. Years of repressing her telekinetic abilities via keeping unnaturally calm have stifled her ability to express anything but apathy to others. Her interest only truly piqued after the rumours of heightened supernatural activity started floating around and fueled by one part curiosity and one part hate, Rita started investigating the matter whereupon she stumbled upon O.M.E.N. Her regular repulsion to the paranormal at first took over and she refused any offer to join them. She despised herself enough without having to deal with other necromantics on a day to day basis. However, as more and more demons and vampires and all other manners of nightly creatures starting causing havoc, she started to feel guilty. What if it’s her fault for being a bystander? Shouldn’t she be helping? These questions and more chipped away at her until she gave up and decided to join to hopefully alleviate these thoughts.
