@TheHangedMan

Azrael had hoped that would stun the beast for some moments, giving him time to snag the core that he'd been tracking. The thing seemed to have a mind of its own as it flowed through the serpent's fluid body. Disengaging, he'd slid several feet away even as the snake shrunk and did the same. Azrael's hesitation had given him no advantage, as once again the creature changed its element and form. Now it was a natural disaster in and of itself, pulling rock and plant life alike into its whipping depths.

Yet, this was also the elementalist's chance, his keen eyes following the core with constant focus. Biding his time, he readied until the sentient funnel was nearly upon him, before leaping into action. The lightning had sizzled to a stop, Azrael further harnessing his energies. He'd been hoping to save this trick for the upcoming fight and only hoped he'd have an hour or two to recuperate to regain enough power to use it again.

Jumping right at the gales of the wind, he caught sight of the stone once more, in the eye of the storm. As Azrael was lifted and flung along the outer reaches of the winds' reach, he teleported. He appeared beside the core, grabbing it in a strong and determined grip, before once again teleporting to safety twenty or more meters out of the tornado's body. With the core clutched in his hand, Azrael took a large bite out of the core's material, hoping that the substance wouldn't crack his teeth!
"They've been known to take refuge in abandoned towers and buildings such as these when driven away by man... but what killed it?" Metosi began to climb the steps, one hand crackling with restrained electricity, the other a spell to conjure a minion, the same that Ka-Vara now wielded in his free hand. "Shinon, keep an eye out and put some arrows into anything that moves. We don't want to take any chances." Looking back, Qa'Ra looked too involved in his search for alchemical ingredients to be of use, making the Dunmer inwardly curse. What a time for their battle-hardened monk to lose focus! "You're right, we should exercise caution, but something of use could still inside. Spriggans are known for guarding their sanctuaries, but also undisturbed treasure.." Stopping for a moment to allow his companions to catch up, Metosi peered at the corpse. It seemed to have been dead for some time, but there were no marks to suggest what exactly had felled it.

Action: Ready his spells, inspect the corpse of the Spriggan, wait for his companions.
I'm waiting for another post as well, I like posting with both characters at the same time to keep the IC neat, buuuut I don't mind doing one at a time either xD

Gregory Jones

Location: Just outside the Great Hall, entrance steps
Interacting With: Elize @Aspen Wren

Gregory admired Elize from afar for a moment, just watching her lithe form glide over the grass. Although a couple inches taller than himself, he wasn't intimidated by the difference. Not when it was such an elegant and beautiful girl such as Elize. He rubbed his hands together in a little bit of self-encouragement, psyching himself up to step up to the plate. He didn't really care that Johnson was there, the guy was barely a blip on his radar. And Hyacinthus was a nice guy, no way would he ruin his chances right now but stepping up to take the dance the French beauty offered. And Slick couldn't have asked for a more romantic setting, the sun making the sky light up with colors. He could easily hear their conversation and he inwardly crowed at her confession. Stag? No one had asked her? Well, let him be the first!

Making sure his hat was on an acceptable looking angle, he quickly shed his robes, rolling them into a ball of sorts before storing it behind one of the pillars. Underneath, he'd worn a black button down shirt and slim black jeans, ending with his usual converse. He just hoped the tread on his shoes would last and he wouldn't slip in the slick grass that Elize now gracefully danced in. She was a sight... Walking up with a jaunty stride and a confident smirk, he bent low at the waist, looking up at Elize from under the brim of his hat. "If you wouldn't mind Elize... I'd love to take that dance." His eyes were alight with mischief. The luck he had of catching her in such a mood was fairly surprising. Slick never looked a gift horse in the mouth, however. He'd spent a long time learning to ballroom dance for his mother's wedding and knew that his body would remember the motions. He just hoped he lived up to Elize's graceful expectations.

He'd been entranced by her dancing, the movements looking almost like breathing to the girl. Slick had known she acted the consummate lady, but it seemed it wasn't so much as a personality trait as something learned. So the higher class of wizard still put their daughters through that kind of etiquette training? Not for the first time, Gregory wondered at the exact hierarchy and culture of Purebloods and the noble blood lines. What made them better than other wizards, was it this? This culture and history bred and taught to their children since birth? Yet, Elize had none of the arrogance Gregory had learned to expect of the upper class.

Cool, I edited your characters' names next to them. I'll roleplay assigning them the roles soon, I'm just keeping it as reference ^^
@LotusWarrior

Glad you had a good time!

I think they might be waiting until tomorrow, haven't seen them online in awhile now.
Several Hours Later...

Ekrom hated running to his own ship, much preferring to take his time if he could. Yet, of course this contract would have these kinds of complications, but he just didn't expect one so damn soon. His omni-tool flared to life, orange glow reflected in his pitch black eyes. His voice was urgent, "Get the ship ready Urg, we're leaving five minutes ago! C-Sec is on our ass so if you don't want to get bet booted out of the air lock, I'd suggest you put a fire under yours!" Ekrom didn't usually take such a harsh tone with his hired subordinates, but they knew that was when he truly meant business. He couldn't believe the turian hadn't made a point to say that she may or may not have had a run-in with a C-Sec earlier that day. Time was of the essence and it had run out before Ekrom could have thought to ask if they had a schedule to keep.

Finally reaching the long hallway, dockport in sight, Ekrom began to glow the usual biotic blue. He became a stream of energy, pushing himself at such speeds he wasn't truly visible anymore until he came to a skidding stop in front of the doors. Out came his Mattock as he took a defensive posture outside the air lock. He banged twice on the doors and two more mercenaries armed to the teeth came to join him. He looked back down the path he'd come down, both sets of eyelids blinking in consternation. Could these people be slower, truly?! The turian, asari, and human were making their way as quick as they could, just coming in sight of the Shadow Sword. "Urg!" His second in command, a batarian with a shit personality but the best damn merc he'd ever known, came right to his side, all four of his eyes narrowed in anger. "Don't you start with me, pus bag!" Urg laughed at his boss, knowing that Ekrom only insulted him to keep him on his toes. The drell, in private, was quite the kind man and very patient.

"Yea?! What kinda shit are we in now.. sir!" Urg growled, less of a question and more of a statement. Ekrom shook his head slightly, telling his right hand that he'd know soon enough, but this was not the right moment.

"Go inside, get those engines pumping and the Ship-buster all warmed up!" Ekrom ordered, which Urg seemed to take a glee in hearing. They didn't often get to use the hard to get Thanix Cannon and Urg was a sadistic bastard. Ekrom hoped it would be a last resort, not the first, but he wasn't about to disappoint Urg like that. Let him keep his hopes up and all that as the batarian ducked back into the ship. He pressed a button on his omni-tool, connecting with Sicari.

"Lose that plainclothes unit and get on the damn ship, Sicari! This is no time to be playing cat and mouse with C-Sec! WE ARE LEEEAVING!" the drell made the urgency very clear, as a few ships began to close in on the station. "By the great gods..." the drell muttered to himself. Grabbing the remaining merc by the front of his body armor, he came in close, his black visor reflecting the turians slightly scared expression.

"Cover me, I'm going for the magnetic lock controls on the walkway. If any shit-for-brains C-Sec pokes out their head, I want this dock to get a new paint job!" The turian nodded quickly and took up the position Ekrom had just occupied as his boss moved to the terminal just to the right of the dockport. With rapid strokes, he was getting into the system and gaining priority control, going around the usual channels that had locked his ship at C-Sec's request.
@Virani
She could probably handle the data analyst position, Asari are very-well educated after all.
She's going to twirl a strand of her hair, so yeah, that's a form of flirting for her! x3

Ooo, yea that'll be obvious enough for him xD
What do you mean she'll be getting three nights at the bar though? o.o
She's giving him apples and oranges! She doesn't do that for just anyone! Especially since she's going to get about three nights at the bar for doing that! So yes, she's partially smitten! Especially since she doesn't know that Zaniel likes her! x3

Good to know ^.^

Well with a little bit of flirting from Persephone, Kenny will pick up the hint. Right now, he just thinks she's being nice. x3
