Hey there, I'm Wolvena!
So, after being away from the roleplay world for a while, I'm ready to jump back in. I don't do many 1 on 1's because I tend to struggle to keep it going after a little bit. I normally go with group rps on the smaller side, just because I tend to get a bit lost in larger ones. My go-to genres are animal(mostly wolves), anime, sci-fi, and fantasy, though I'm always up to give something new a try.

Esme Stirling

Esme turned back to Dean with a smile when he fiddled with her hair and agreed to the walk. She then looked over at Sam and Madison when Dean asked them for approval, which he quickly got from Sam. She was happy about his approval. She then looked at Madison as Dean slid himself out of the booth and held a hand out to her. At Madison’s approval, she smiled and gave a laugh at her comment about Dean. “I’ll try my best.” she said as she slid across the booth seat.

Another laugh escaped her at Dean’s raised eyebrows and scowl to Madison. She even caught the rolling of his eyes. She was going to ask Madison if she was sure, but she saw she didn’t need to as Madison spoke again and took Sam's hand. She was happy to see that she trusted Sam enough to be alone with him. She was also glad that she didn’t have to worry about her. She could see that Sam would keep her safe while she and Dean talked. “Well, you two have fun.” she smiled.

She looked at Dean and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze as she let him help her up. “Oh, if my cheesecake gets here before we get back, please don’t eat it.” she said in a joking tone as she looked back at them with a grin. “Shall we?” she asked, as she turned back and looked up at Dean. She had almost forgotten how tall he was and how short she felt standing next to him.

Sam looked over at Madison as he looked at her and gave a small laugh. “I’ll try my best to answer your questions.” he said before she looked at Esme. He looked at Dean as spoke and gave a laugh. “I wish you luck with that.” he chuckled. “It won't be easy.” He saw Dean’s look at Madison and caught the eye roll. He gave a look of his own that said ‘I know’ before looking back at Madison. When she took his hand, his eyebrows went up a little. He wasn’t expecting such a gesture from her in the short time she had known him.

He didn’t move his hand though, he gave her a smile before catching Dean’s weird stare at her. He shrugged his shoulders to Dean, then watched Esme slide over and take Dean’s hand and leave the booth. He gave a laugh at Esme’s joke. “Don’t worry. It’ll still be here if it gets here before you get back.” he told her. “Now you two get going. You two have plenty to talk about. We’ll be fine.” he added. Using his free hand, he gave them a shooing motion to get them going and out the door.

Esme could feel the fear and tension fading away to nothing as she sat there. The pain in her chest had faded as well. She could feel Madison’s happiness wash over her, she could feel Sam had relaxed as well. She could even feel Dean had relaxed but concerned since she had gone quiet. A bigger smile crept upon her face at Madison’s words. She was excited and a little on edge to see Dean after so long. At Dean’s, she closed her eyes and dipped her head, shaking it gently.

Lifting her head, she opened her eyes and looked at Dean, seeing his raised eyebrows. He was still as kind as ever. It was something she had missed during their time apart, and it warmed her heart. “I’m a little overwhelmed.” she admitted, her smile unfading. “I’m alright though. I was just thinking about things.” she added with a reassuring smile. She held his gaze to let him know she really was alright, then looked away to Madison and gave her a smile. She looked back at Dean, releasing her necklace, leaving it to lie on the outside of her shirt instead of tucking it away.

“A walk would be nice though.” The idea of a walk, just the two of them, sounded like a wonderful idea. It would give them the chance to get used to having the other around and even catch up on things since they’ve been apart. She knew they were bound to touch on touchy subjects, but that was alright. She didn’t plan on keeping anything from him, she wanted to be as truthful as she could be with him.

Sam was watching Esme, from what little Dean told him about her. The silence was unusual for her. Concern grew in himself for her and he didn’t even know her. He looked over at Madison when she spoke about Esme being overwhelmed and excited, his eyebrows raised at her words. He looked to Dean, who had the same look before looking at Esme and speaking to her. It was almost funny how he stammered when he talked to her, but knew it had to be awkward talking to her after so long.

He looked over at her and saw her smile grow, and it eased his concern a little, and he lowered his eyebrows. He softly smiled at her actions and what she said to Dean, and the way she looked into his eyes after. She seemed to be telling Dean the truth. When she said she was thinking about things, he assumed it was about what she had just learned. Sam couldn’t blame her for getting lost in her thoughts about the information dumped on her. He then broke his silence when Esme took Dean up on his offer to go for a walk.

“Well, if you two decide to take that walk.” he smiled. “Madison and I can hang out.” he continued, looking at the two of them. Not only would Dean and Esme have time to catch up and learn what the other had been up to, but it would also give him a chance to learn about Madison.

As Esme leaned against the wall, she continued listening to what they discussed in the room. When she heard they had also dealt with an angel, she closed her eyes tighter. So, that’s what was trying to contact Dean. she thought to herself. She sighed heavily at the thought of more than one angel being around them. So, they knew of two angels at the moment. How many more would they come in contact with? She was pulled from the thought when she was hit by a wave of emotion, it caused her to gasp and hold her chest as pain flooded it.

She opened her eyes just as Sam’s shocked voice rang into the room. Esme’s eyes followed him to the kitchen where Annabeth stood. Esme’s eyes widened in shock as she saw she had eyes. “How in the hell?” she whispered. She cut her eyes over at Cason as he spoke to Annabeth. Not only could she hear his emotion she could feel it too. She pushed herself off the wall and stepped forward as Annabeth started to explain. She saw Dean and Mika enter the room, but her eyes didn’t leave Annabeth.

When Cason took it upon himself to announce what she had done. “You what?!” she got out at the same time Dean spoke. She closed her eyes as more pain took her over, now spreading to her head. She opened her eyes just as Dean finished speaking, and Annabeth snapped. Annabeth’s sudden outburst of frustration hit her hard. Esme gasped and tightened her grip on her chest before falling to her knees. She had the wind knocked from her lungs. She had never felt such a powerful wave of emotion before.

She used one hand to hold herself up. She felt sick and shaky. She looked up at Annabeth, pain clearly visible on her face as she fought for air. “We could……. Have still…..Helped” she gasped. “We’re in….. This together.” Esme curled in on herself as the pain spread more.

Esme looked at Dean when he muttered. A small smile graced her features as she saw his raised eyebrows. “I’ve heard about them and been on the trail for months now.” she started softly, then sighed. “But I was starting to think it was all just a rumor since I hadn’t come across any until now.” She looked away and at the table. “Though there is the possibility I had and didn’t even realize it.” she added with a shrug. She looked up from the table when Dean got the attention of a waitress.

She glanced at the menu to see if there was something small she could order, just as she found something she heard what Dean said. She couldn’t help but smile warmly as she turned back to him and saw his smile. “I wouldn’t mind either. It’s been way too long and there’s a lot to discuss.” she muttered, her smile unfading as she uncrossed her arms. She pulled her gaze from Dean’s and looked over at Madison, giving her a smile in return when she smiled at her. Her smile grew when Madison told Sam what they had planned on getting.

It was cute seeing how proud she was of herself for learning something. When the waitress arrived at the table, Esme looked at her and smiled warmly when she asked if they were ready. She nodded and leaned forwards and gave her order, then leaned back in the booth. She laid her left arm across her waist, then brought her right up and fiddled with her pendant on her necklace. This was turning out to be one interesting day. Running into the Winchesters and a Nephilim all in one day, it was a lot to take in, but she was glad to have met back up with Dean.

She was happy to not be alone for once, even if she was afraid of bringing more down on him than he already had. She felt like she was a magnet for trouble. It followed her everywhere. She couldn’t get away from it.

Sam continued to smile at Madison, taking in how childlike she was and how happy she was to know Esme would go with them. He cut his eyes over at Dean, to see his reaction to her demands about only going with them if Esme did. It relieved him to see Dean’s nod to her. It was the best thing he could have done to keep Madison calm. He looked back at Madison when she told him what she was getting, giving a laugh at how proud she was at learning a food item. “Nice choice.” he responded with a smile.

When the waitress came over, he looked at the menu then to the waitress. He waited for the women to order first before giving his order with a warm smile to the waitress. The look between Esme and Dean before the waitress came over didn’t go unnoticed, but he didn’t let on to it. When Esme leaned back into the booth and fiddled with her necklace he watched her for a moment. She looked like she had spaced out, he then looked over at Dean. After he had ordered and the waitress left, Sam gestured over at Esme for him to look at her.

“Esme? You alright?” he asked her. She gave a silent nod and a small smile, though she still looked spaced out to him. She didn’t even make eye contact with him.

Esme took in Dean’s sighs. She knew he was having trouble finding the words to explain everything to her. If he had that much trouble, it had to be something big. When he said he’d explain and to figure out how, she kept her eyes closed. Even when he trailed off, her eyes remained closed. She hadn’t even heard Sam’s words to Madison. It was odd when he mentioned Sam spilling the beans. She took in what he said, almost in disbelief, but her breath caught and her eyes popped open at the mention of Madison being Michael’s daughter.

She looked at Dean to see if she had heard him right. It was clear she had. So, everything she had caught word of was true. She even had her missing information. She looked away from Dean, to Madison, then to the table. This was absolutely crazy. “So, angels are real.” she whispered and almost laughed. Esme looked up at Madison when she spoke to Dean. She sighed at his response to her. What have I gotten myself into? she asked herself. She then smiled at Madison’s words to Sam.

She wanted her fed and safe. “I think I may have to order something smaller after what I just heard.” she said with a smile to Madison. “That news hit me pretty hard.” It was true, she didn’t feel as hungry as she did when they first arrived at the diner. Maybe she would just go with a dessert of some sort. It really hadn’t been that long since she had eaten last.

Sam Winchester

Sam smiled at Madison as she apologized for scaring him and shook his head. To tell her it was okay. He then looked over at Dean when he scolded him and rubbed a hand across his eyebrow. He shot Dean a look that said, “What? She didn’t even hear me” before he looked at Esme to see her reaction to the explanation Dean gave her. In his eyes, she took it rather well, better than most would anyway. Learning that angels were actually real, and she was sitting across from a Nephilim was a lot to take in all at once.

His gaze drifted back to Madison as she asked Dean about knowing Micheal, he knew that would come up at some point. He was glad that Dean had told her the truth, she needed to know after all. When Madison turned back to him, he gave a smile at her words and nodded. “You need to eat, too. I heard your stomach growl” he told her. “Plus, by the look of things. I think she’ll want to stay around, she and Dean have some catching up to do.” he whispered to her so only she could hear.

He was also pretty sure that Esme would want to learn more and hear everything that they had learned. Not to mention, the extra help would be nice. At Esme’s words about ordering something smaller, he stifled a laugh but did smile. He couldn’t blame her for losing her appetite over the information dumped on her. “So, what’s everyone getting?’ he asked to lighten the air.

Esme couldn’t hold back the grin on the remark about Bobby’s house, but had to agree he’d be wise to have a human around. At his eyebrow wiggle and last statement, her eyebrows shot up. “And who says the human would want to go or have you tag along with them?” she asked. Her attention shifted to Bobby as he went back to his desk and spoke to Natalia. She wouldn’t say it aloud, but she felt slightly out of place here. Maybe it was because she had spent so much time alone and she was having to adjust to having others around her.

She moved back and found an empty wall to lean against, crossing her arms over her chest. She listened as Bobby spoke to Natalia and then to Sam, passing him a manilla envelope. She sighed heavily as Bobby explained how it felt like the end of days, angels and demons, and that something big was coming, and they were all in the middle of it.She dipped her head and closed her eyes, thinking about how they were going to stop whatever was coming.

She knew one thing, it would more than likely take all of them to do it, and some of them might not make it through it. They would all have to stay on their toes and be ready for anything. They were dealing with demons and angels now, and there was no telling what else might rear its ugly head. Esme was so deep in her thoughts she didn’t even hear when Annabeth returned after leaving to get some air as she had said.

Esme continued to try to read Dean’s face. It was clear he was trying to find his words. When he admitted to pulling a gun on her, she could hardly believe it. When he said he would explain, she was glad he would. She desperately needed an explanation after what she just heard. She looked back to Madison when Dean spoke to her, her mind was now spinning. She then looked at Sam as he spoke to Madison, taking in his words. She could feel how much his words had calmed Madison, much to her relief.

Though she could still feel the fear radiating off of Dean and Sam, and it kept the ache in her chest going strong. Looking back at Dean, she caught the look he gave Sam. It was as if he didn’t want Sam to tell Madison he’d keep her safe. This confused her. Esme sighed heavily, looking between the three at the table. Something told her that something bad could come out of this whole thing. That was the last thing she wanted, since bad things seemed to follow her everywhere she went.

She closed her eyes as tension was added to the mix, thoughts swirling around in her mind about what she heard and saw. She had completely missed Dean kicking Sam’s shin. She had suddenly lost her appetite, even if her growling stomach said otherwise. “I’m assuming you don’t want to explain here.” she said to Dean, her eyes remaining closed. What a way to meet up after a long period of silence. she thought to herself. She had hoped that if they ever crossed paths, it would have been on better terms. This. This was almost painful, too painful for her liking.

Sam Winchester

Sam flinched when Dean kicked his shin, he looked at him seeing his glare. He shot a look back at him that said “What? You want her to run again?” before looking back at Madison. He knew Dean would have a problem with what he told Madison, but he didn’t care. He gave a small smile as she scooted closer to him and relaxed. He had gotten through to her. As she spoke, his eyes never left her, and he nodded to her words. “After what you did back at the house, it's kind of hard not to be scared of you.” he said softly.

He looked over at Dean and Esme briefly before looking back at Madison. “We were scared. We were expecting to see a baby, not a young girl.” he explained. He looked over at Esme to see her reaction, but she didn’t seem to be listening as her eyes were closed. “I can see you don’t want to scare anyone.” he said, looking back at Madison. He sighed knowing that Dean wouldn’t like how he was talking to Madison, but he really didn’t want her to run again. As he spoke, he saw her look over at Esme before looking back at him.

It was clear the woman had made an impression on Madison and if anything were to happen she’d probably run to her for help. Sam was pretty sure that Esme would fight them to keep her safe too. She seemed to have a connection with Madison in the short time they were together.

Esme watched as Madison’s glare turned to fear before she slightly cut her eyes over at Dean as he spoke, giving a nod to his assumption. “Yes.” she replied. Her eyebrow lifted at his next words, wondering what he meant by them. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked down at the table. “We….. Haven’t known each other long enough to…... Learn much about the other.” she stated. She opened her mouth to answer Dean’s question, but closed it as Madison spoke first.

She lifted her gaze to her with wide eyes at her bluntness. A pain crept up within her chest that was almost unbearable. It was from the fear radiating off those around her. It now somewhat explained why she was alone and not easily trusting, and why she questioned her gun. Esme turned her full attention to Dean when Madison spoke to Sam. “You really tried to kill her?” she asked in a low tone. Her eyes searched his face and eyes to see if it was really true. She knew he was a shoot first and ask questions later kind of guy, but could he have really tried to kill her? Why were they afraid of her? She seemed harmless.

Sam Winchester

Sam had felt Madison flinch when he sat down next to her and watched as she scooted as far as she could from him. It proved that she saw him as much of a threat as Dean. He looked at Esme then back to Madison, noting how just talking to her seemed to calm Madison, even if she looked scared. He’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, just as Dean’s did when Madison spoke so bluntly and clearly. She was only a few hours old and talking like any other would. More surprise hit Sam when she turned to him and pouted, then spoke to him.

His face contorted into grief at her words. He turned towards her and looked down at her, his words catching in his throat. “I know you miss her.” he started softly, finding his words. “I know she trusted me and I gave her my word I’d keep you safe.” He looked at her and the pout she had on her face. It was hard to believe that she was born only a few hours ago. She looked so innocent and scared sitting there next to him, he knew he couldn’t bring himself to kill her.

He didn’t have it in him to kill someone so innocent even if they weren’t human. “I plan on keeping my word.” He gave her a warm smile to show he meant what he said, hoping she’d believe him and not try to run away with Esme.
Esme Stirling

Esme could see that Madison didn’t really know what she wanted, then saw the smile come to her lips as she said what she wanted. “That’s a good choice.” she smiled. She also noticed that the more they were together, the more Madison seemed to relax. If she could spend more time with her, she felt she could get this woman to open up to her. She was still curious about this woman and wanted to learn what she could about her. She placed the menu back where she got it and looked up for a waitress, but before she could make eye contact with one, she saw Madison’s expression change.

Her smile faded and was going to ask why, but the answer soon showed itself. The boys had shown up. Esme slid over as Dean slid into the booth next to her, while keeping her eyes on Madison. “I….. Thought so.” she replied in a calm and even tone. She kept her eyes on Madison, not being able to bring herself to look at Dean just yet. She sighed softly at his next question. Was he testing the waters? “Just talking…. We were getting ready…. To order something.” As she sat there, she could feel tension in the surrounding air.

She breathed in, trying to keep herself calm. She caught Madison’s glare at Dean and noticed her breathing had gotten faster. The fear coming from those around her hit her. It felt like being hit with a tidal wave. She focused on trying to keep it under control and not get the better of her as she sat there. “Madison?” she said to get the woman's attention. “You okay?” She looked across the table at her. She used her eyes to convey to her it was going to be okay and she wouldn’t let anything happen to her.

Her eyes left Madison briefly as Sam came and sat down next to Madison, then nodded in agreement to Dean. He was right, they had plenty to talk about. She leaned back in the booth so she could take in each of their faces without looking at them directly.

Sam Winchester

Sam followed Dean inside, listening as he spoke about Esme. Though wondered why he needed to keep his guard up if he said he trusted her. At that moment, he knew his plan to confront the young woman had gone out the window. It relieved part of him to know he wasn’t going in alone. When they reached the table he hung back as Dean took a seat next to Esme and talked to her. He noticed how she didn’t make eye contact with him, and talked in the same manner as Dean.

He looked over at the young woman, catching the glare she gave Dean and her breathing. He couldn't lie to himself. She was pretty damn scary. If they didn’t play this right, it could blow up in their faces and many could get hurt, including themselves. Sam looked over at Dean as he motioned for him to sit down next to the young woman. He knew Dean needed back up. Taking a breath, he slowly let it out and slowly sat down in the booth next to the woman. When Esme spoke to the woman, he looked over at her.

He took in the name she called her and the look she gave her. It was clear in the time the woman had gotten away from them; she had formed some type of bond with Esme. Sam looked over at Dean to see if he noticed what he did.

Esme pushed herself from her car at the invite to join the group, she followed the group up to the house and inside. She found a place to step off to the side as she watched Bobby come up and greet Sam with a hug, she couldn’t help but smile as she stood there. She then turned when Cason complained and gave a small laugh along with Annabeth, it was rather funny he found himself caught in yet another devil's trap. Since this wasn’t her place, she wasn’t going to do anything.

She turned and looked around the house from where she stood, several things stood out to her. She was sure she had been here before at some point. She tried to think hard to remember when that could have been, but nothing came to her. Esme was pulled from her thoughts at Annabeth’s question and Bobby’s threat to Cason, she smiled at Bobby’s response as he freed Cason from the devil’s trap. She turned away once again, she could feel the warmth and love for family within this house and it calmed her.

Not to mention she felt better that they were all in one place for the moment. She knew she hadn’t been with the group long, but she knew that they all had each other's backs, including her own. Esme crossed her arms across her chest and looked over at Cason, who wasn’t that far from her. “I’d watch your step while we’re here if I were you.” she whispered to him. “I think he just might carry out that threat he gave you.”
