Hey there, I'm Wolvena!
So, after being away from the roleplay world for a while, I'm ready to jump back in. I don't do many 1 on 1's because I tend to struggle to keep it going after a little bit. I normally go with group rps on the smaller side, just because I tend to get a bit lost in larger ones. My go-to genres are animal(mostly wolves), anime, sci-fi, and fantasy, though I'm always up to give something new a try.

Esme Stirling

Esme calmed a bit more when Sarah nuzzled her hand with a sound that sounded like appreciation. Esme then rubbed Sarah’s head, then looked over at Violet as she came over. She couldn’t help but smile a bit as Violet looked a bit jealous of the attention Sarah was getting. Esme slowly lifted her other hand and placed it on Violet’s head and rubbed it. This was one of the craziest things she had done in her life, and she had done some crazy things in her life. When Cason spoke, Esme turned her head to look at him.

Esme nodded to show she understood, then turned back to the two hounds in front of her as she was nuzzled by one. Esme rubbed their heads and patted the sides of their necks as Cason continued to explain everything she needed to know. She knew well that she wouldn’t be able to use salt lines unless absolutely necessary, but she was glad he mentioned the vault. She knew nothing about it except that it was there, since she didn’t go down with the other when Bobby had shown them. “Relaxing?” she repeated in a questioning tone. “Maybe.” she said, looking over at him.

She followed his gaze, looking out over the junkyard, taking in the fog and other hounds that roamed the grounds. If and when anything comes, they would be sure to hear with so many hounds around the house. Esme looked back at Sarah and Violet. Sighing heavily, she closed her eyes. Even with the extra protection, she couldn’t help but feel uneasy about this whole situation, but they couldn’t let Annabeth go without a fight. She knew well that this all could end terribly.

They could be killed or seriously injured from all that was coming their way. She sighed again as she heard Bobby grumble about wasting the air conditioning. She then nodded to Cason as she opened her eyes. “Yeah, we should. I don’t want to be left in the dark on any of this.” she mumbled. She looked at Sarah and Violet as she gave them both a good pat, a small smile coming to her. “Thank you.” she whispered softly to them both. “I don’t see a problem with one of you coming in. I don’t think there is room for both of you in the living room. Just try not to make yourself known. We don’t want to freak out the others.” she continued in a soft whisper. Esme then turned to head back inside with the others.

Cason’s words didn’t bring Esme much comfort. She didn’t give a smile at his attempt. She followed him to the front door, her eyes trained on it as he opened it and swung it open. She saw Sarah peek around the door as they approached. Esme’s eyes went wide at her size. Her eyes didn’t leave Sarah as Cason spoke sweetly to her as they walked out onto the porch and in front of Sarah. Esme took in Sarah’s appearance, noticing how much she looked like a Doberman that was made of tendrils of smoke.

The most startling thing about her was her red eyes, followed by the showing of her teeth. Esme took a few steps back at the action as Cason spoke to Sarah. She couldn’t lie to herself or hid it from her face. The hellhound that stood before her absolutely terrified the hell out of her. She froze as Sarah turned her red eyes on her and stepped forward and bowed. She listened to what Cason told Sarah as he placed a hand on her nose. Sarah’s growl sent a shiver down her spine.

Esme gave a yelp as Cason grabbed her hand and yanked her forward to Sarah, only to set her hand on Sarah’s head as she closed her eyes tightly. She felt that her hand was on something solid, but she dared not open her eyes even at Cason’s words. Was her hand truly resting on top of a hellhound's head? Was she still standing on Bobby’s porch? Or was her mind playing tricks on her? Esme barely opened an eye to peek at her surroundings and Sarah in front of her, her hand was in fact resting on her head.

“Holy hellfire!” she said in barely a whisper that was shaky. Esme finally opened her eyes fully and looked at Sarah, still not believing she was actually standing in front of a hellhound and had her hand on its head. This is stupidly crazy. she thought. Sarah still had her terrified, but she was slowly gaining control of herself and gaining color back to her face.

Esme smiled a bit when she felt Madison’s shoulder relax just the tiniest bit when she confessed her secret. She simply nodded to her words, then looked at Madison as she pulled away to look at her. Esme softly shook her head to Madison’s words with a warm smile. “You don’t have to apologize. It’s part of being what I am.” she told her. “What I’ve felt today is mild compared to what I have felt before…… Don’t worry about Dean. I won’t let him do anything to you…… You also don’t have to worry about hurting me. I’m tougher than I look.” she finished with a smile.

When she realized her projection had some effect, she smiled a bit more, then sighed when Madison placed her head on her shoulder. She was glad it had some effect on her to bring her a little calm. She was now calming down herself, seeing that Madison was. Esme placed her cheek on Madison’s head and hugged her as she whispered. Esme closed her eyes and was about to say something when she heard the flutter of wings. Her eyes popped open, and she lifted her head when she felt the wind blow her hair.

Her eyes landed on Castiel as he said her name. It shouldn’t have surprised her he knew her name, but she was slightly. When Madison said his name, she loosened her hug, then let her go to him. As Madison hugged Castiel, Esme stood and watched him. She took in his appearance and how he stared at her, which was a little unnerving. So, this is an angel in a vessel up close. she thought to herself. Esme looked at Madison as she asked Castiel to teach her everything about being an angel.

She couldn’t stop the smirk that showed itself, she even noticed Castiel smirk. Esme’s eyebrows rose at Castiel’s words to Madison about not being an angel. If she wasn’t an angel, then what was she? The rest of the news was troubling, causing her to look over at Dean and Sam, then back to Castiel when he spoke about how she could go with them. He better believe she was going.

Sam Winchester

Sam took in Dean’s reaction to what he told him. He couldn’t blame him for reacting in such a way. He nodded at the mention of thinking it was angel radio. “That’s what I was thinking, too. Why else would they be monitoring her?” he replied. “If the angels know of her existence, I’m sure demons would know too and it’s a high possibility that Michael knows as well.” He breathed in deeply as he looked at the ground, shaking his head at the mess that was unfolding. He could almost tell what Dean was thinking by how he sighed and placed his hands on his hips.

But if he were to try to kill her now, would they even be able to? They’ve dealt with enough angels to know they wouldn’t make it easy to kill her, and would have her power go somewhere else. He closed his eyes tight as the thoughts swirled in his mind and how they could get through this. He then lifted his head, opening his eyes and looked back at Dean. “That’s all we can do right now.” he said in agreement. “We need to find a way to hide her though.” he added. How would they do that? He didn’t have an idea, but they had to figure something out, and soon.

Sam tensed and turned his head towards the girls when he heard the flutter of wings, soon relaxing when he saw it was Castiel. He said nothing as he spoke to the girls, but was glad to see him there. Hearing that Madison wasn’t an angel caused his eyebrows to raise.

Esme’s eyebrows raised when he said he could fix the problem of her not seeing the hellhounds. She couldn’t help but wonder just how he could make that possible. She watched him reach forward and touch her hand with his finger, feeling a strange sensation when he did. When he pulled his hand back, she lifted her hand and looked at the black mark that was now on her hand. It was strange to know that this mark would help her see the hounds and basically serve as a mark of protection. As she sat there, she could only imagine what the others would think once they found out she had agreed to have the hounds protect her.

They’d she was crazy, more than likely. And poor Dean. He’d probably not want to be anywhere near her. She wouldn’t blame any of them for not wanting to be around her. She came back to reality when she heard one hound howl. She couldn’t hold back the shiver that ran down her spine at how eerie and massive it sounded. She almost didn’t want to follow his gaze to the window, to where he said one was sitting outside it with another possibly close by. Biggest two? They’ll love me? she thought to herself as she looked towards the window.

In her mind, that could be a good thing or a bad thing, even though he could tell he was joking. If Esme was honest with herself, this was extremely unnerving to her. She could see a part of the hound's head and a pair of ears just over the window seal with tendrils of smoke coming from its head. From the corner of her eye, she saw Cason stand and hold his hand out to her. She hesitated before finally taking his hand to let him help her up off the floor. She was sure her face showed how nervous she was, but she didn’t care.

She had every right to be nervous about coming face to face with a hellhound, even if she was told they would protect her and not harm her. “Alright, let's do this.” she said with a nervous sigh.

Esme lifted her head from her arm and sat when Cason took her hands again and watched as his frown became a sad smile at her question. As he spoke, her eyebrows went up a little, that’s not something she expected to hear from him. Hearing he was a bit of an empath when he was human was strange for her to hear. She was about to say something when she felt the heat in her hands, but he started talking again, so she listened. As he turned her hands over, she looked down at them.

She could feel the little magic he was working, so she let him continue. Any other time, she would have pulled her hands away, but she could clearly see how much he was trying to help her. She looked back up at him as he spoke again, going into a story about his past. Never would she have thought he would reveal his past to her or how he became a demon. When he finished, she had no words to respond with as he laughed and put her hands in her lap.

What was it about her that made him reveal that part of himself to her, other than helping Annabeth? She was pulled from the thought when he made himself comfortable in front of her. Esme pulled both of her legs up and crossed her arms over her knees, then rested her chin on her arms as he confirmed he knew she was an empath. At his sigh, she knew he was preparing himself to say something. As soon as he told her he wanted her to be guarded, she closed her eyes. She should have known that was going to come up.

Esme remained quiet to hear him out. She tensed up when he mentioned the hellhounds. Hellhounds were one thing she had never planned to come in contact with. She was well aware of the stories revolving around them. She sighed heavily as he finished, opening her eyes to look at him. “If I refuse. I’m assuming you’d say you’d like me to join Sam and Annabeth in the vault.” she stated. She looked away and to the book on the floor she had been looking at before. She rolled the options around in her mind.

She didn’t much like either option, but she didn’t want to be locked in the vault feeling like a prisoner. She felt bad for wanting to go with hellhounds, knowing how Dean and the others felt about them, but she really didn’t want to go into the vault. “Fine.” she sighed. “I’ll go with the dogs. I just don’t like the fact I can’t see them.” She turned her gaze back to him. “Knowing there's something there watching me I can’t see is a bit unsettling.”

Esme smiles at his bright smile, knowing that she had given him the reaction he wanted when he kissed her. Her cheeks flushed a bit more when he nuzzled her nose, getting his message fully. She laughed softly at his statement and was about to answer back when Sam ran up and called Dean’s name. A sigh escaped her as well. After his nose brushed hers, she turned her gaze to Sam and Madison. She didn’t have time to take them in before Dean suddenly stood up, making her almost fall onto the bench where he was sitting.

Pushing herself upright, she stood next to Dean, looking the two over as he spoke. She had to agree with Dean. They really looked like they’d been through a hurricane. Esme’s eyes went to Madison as she tried to smooth down her hair. She would have smiled if this were a different situation. She listened as Madison explained what had happened. Hearing she didn’t hurt anyone set her mind a little at ease, but she still worried about how she could lose control while they were around others.

Esme couldn’t hold in the sigh that escaped her at what Dean said, and saw how it affected Madison. As Dean turned to her and whispered, she looked up at him, understanding how he felt. When he turned from her, she looked back at Madison, seeing her move over to the statue. At Dean’s reaction, she knew he couldn’t see her. Taking in a deep breath, she slowly let it out before turning to Dean. Esme placed a hand on his arm and gave a gentle squeeze, then looked up at him before reaching up and placing a hand on his cheek and gently turned his head to look at her.

She could feel his frustration from the situation, she felt the same way. “Dean.” she said in a calm tone, to get him to look at her. “Take a breath and calm yourself…… I know this is difficult, but you have to try to take it easy on her. This is all new for her just like it is for us.” She tried to keep her tone as calm as possible, which was hard with what she felt coming from Madison. “We’ll get through this…… Together.” she told him with a warm smile.

Esme let her hand slip from his cheek and rest on his chest for a moment, then gave his arm another gentle squeeze before turning and walking around the bench to Madison. Before reaching Madison, she stopped next to Sam, then placed a gentle hand on his arm. “Don’t worry, I have this.” she said, hoping to ease his worry. She made her way to Madison’s side, feeling the guilt pouring off of Madison. She sighed heavily as she took a seat next to her. “Hey, it’ll be okay.” she whispered.

Esme put an arm around her and pulled her into a hug, resting her head on hers. She then dropped her voice so only Madison could hear her. She was going to tell her something she hadn’t shared with many. “I know what it’s like to lose control when you get overwhelmed. I know how hard it is to stay in control.” she told her, hugging her close. “I don’t have the same powers as you to worry about losing control over, but I still have to worry about losing control.” she paused for a moment, taking in a deep breath and letting it out slowly.

She could hardly believe she was about to share her secret with this girl she met only hours ago. “I’m what they call an empath. I can feel what people are feeling around me. If I get too overwhelmed with those feelings it can be pretty bad, especially if it's anger.” She fell silent as a memory flashed in her mind of a time she had lost control. She pushed it away and focused back on Madison. “Not many know that about me. I keep it a secret.” she said after a moment of silence. She then tried to project some of her calm to Madison, she wanted to ease the girl's grief.

Sam Winchester

Sam saw how Dean acted to his arrival, but didn’t play into it. He watched as Dean jumped up from the bench at the sight of them, and how Esme almost face planted when he did. He studied both of their faces as they stood there and was about to answer when Madison did. He turned to as she briefly explained what had happened. He didn’t approve of Dean’s way of responding to Madison, but that was Dean. He watched as he turned to Esme and whispered to her before turning back to Madison who had walked away.

He sighed debating if he should follow or let her work things out on her own. His attention was pulled back to Dean and Esme, when he heard her talking to Dean. Sam’s eyebrows rose at the interaction but kept quiet as she talked to Dean, clearly trying to calm him. When she turned and headed towards him, he relaxed his eyebrows, and she stopped next to him. Sam gave a sigh of slight relief at her words and gave a nod. “Thanks. Just be careful.” he told her as she walked over to Madison.

He looked over at them for a moment before walking over to Dean. “There’s one other thing from the diner.” he said looking at Dean. “A guy in a suit came into the diner and sat at the bar, Madison said she could hear someone in his head talking about God's power remade, then she lost control.” he told Dean. “When everything settled, he vanished with a gust of wind.” He then paused to let it sink in a bit, his eyebrows knitting together. “She’s being watched.” He stole a look over at the girls, he saw how Esme was so gentle with Madison. He was actually glad that she was there to help. Sam almost wished he could hear what she was saying to her and hoped she was getting through to her to calm her.

Esme watched the smile on Dean’s face grow at her joking around with him. She couldn’t remember him ever smiling like this, and it looked like it was doing him a world of good. She made a mental note to try to get in more moments like this with him. She loved seeing this side of him. At Dean’s sudden action, she gave a little jump and a squeak of surprise. She wasn’t expecting him to kiss her so quickly after meeting back up, but it was nice. Her eyes closed, and she kissed him back before he pulled away.

She slowly opened her eyes, seeing him smiling softly at her. A rosiness came to her cheeks as she smiled back, her eyes dropped a bit. She looked back up as he spoke, feeling at a loss for words, but still gave a laugh of her own. When he brushed his nose against hers, her eyes closed once again, followed by a bigger smile. “I guess you’re right. I don’t have a choice now.” she whispered with a laugh in her tone. She kept her eyes closed a little longer, still feeling the tingle on her lips from his kiss and was spreading.

Opening her eyes, she lifted her head more to look at him, her nose brushing his in the process. “But I did say I was staying.” Her tone was soft and warm, as well as her smile. After him kissing her, how could she not?

Sam Winchester

Sam let go of her hand when she was out of the booth and at his side. He put an arm around her, resting his hand on her arm, then pulled his phone from his pocket with the other. “I don’t think they would have gone too far. Knowing Dean, he’d stay pretty close.” he told her. He then used his phone as a flashlight and led them out of the diner. “If anyone can help you gain control, it would be Cas.” he told her when they reached the door. He walked out with her held close to him, his eyes darting around to make sure no one was coming towards them.

He then led the way at a pace Madison could easily keep up with across the street and down the sidewalk. He knew there was a park nearby and assumed they would be there. “I have a feeling they might be at the park.” he said, looking down at her. “It would be the best place for them to talk.” He then lifted his gaze to look ahead of them. He knew he could have called him, but he felt bad for having to ruin his time with Esme. Not to mention, the walk and fresh air were helping him clear his head and think properly.

It wasn’t that far and could easily be seen up ahead. As they neared, he could make out a couple on a bench near the lake. Sam was pretty sure it was them. When they finally were in shouting distance, he could see it was in fact them. “Dean!” he called, closing the distance. He knew their windblown look would probably get a decent reaction from Dean.
Esme Stirling

Esme was pretty much out of it by now. She hardly noticed when Cason moved hair from her face, she just barely took in what he said to the others. She dipped her head and closed her eyes, trying to compose herself from the massive amount of emotions to hit her all at once, not to mention the blast that came from Annabeth. When that hit her it was excruciating. It had felt as if her chest was going to burst. She could just make out them talking about the vault and where it was, giving a small smirk at how Bobby answered Dean.

When Cason mentioned bringing in his dogs, she thought about it and almost jumped at the thought that came to mind. He didn’t mean Hellhounds, did he? She pushed the thought from her mind for the moment and concentrated on her breathing, trying to keep it slow and steady. She heard several sets of footsteps leave the room to check out the vault, and she knew Cason was still at her side. Esme opened her eyes when he pulled her face towards his. She watched him as he looked her over.

It was still weird to her having a demon worry about her wellbeing. By the way he was giving her, she knew she must look pretty rough. Possibly worse than she did at the hotel. At his words, she looked away and closed her eyes. “Ha, so you noticed that?” she asked tiredly, with a smirk. She opened her eyes again and looked at a book that happened to be on the floor. “I’m starting to realize that as well.” She sighed heavily and shook her head gently.

“They’re going to be the death of me, not some monster or angel.” she mumbled in the same tired tone as he picked up her hand. She shifted to the side and moved her legs out from under her. She stretched her left one out and bent her right. Esme then leaned forward, crossing her free arm over her knee and rested her chin on her arm. It was then she fully realized that he had her hand. She looked down at their hands, then at him with a raised brow. “Have you figured out my secret?”
Esme Stirling

Esme had noticed his nervous look before she started talking, and it had fueled her little ‘speech’ a bit. She couldn’t have been happier to see him smile and laugh after how serious things were earlier. If she was honest with herself, she missed his laugh. It was soothing and always genuine, at least towards her. She watched him shrug at her comment of taking him. His smile at her kept the smile on her face, but she pulled her tongue back in.

She kept his gaze as he picked up a strand of her hair and placed it behind her ear as he spoke. His thumb brushing against her jaw caused her to hold back a shiver at how quick the action was. “I’m glad we understand each other.” she grinned playfully. His wanting her to stay was obvious, but she knew he wouldn’t just come right out and say it. She also knew he wouldn’t want her to feel like he was forcing her.

“If we had to bump heads about this, I don’t know what I’d do.” She sighed dramatically and tried to hold back her smile to make it look like she was serious, but she lost the battle. The smile slowly crept its way to her lips, and she laughed softly.

Sam Winchester

Sam held Madison closer when the diner went pitch black. He cut his eyes to the window as the exterior light went out. He looked around the darkness as the diner groaned from the assault of the blast. He looked down at her once more, worry growing more within him, causing his heart to beat faster. Her screams felt as if they tore right through him. He felt helpless with only being there to hold her close and try to talk her through it. When the wind began to calm, he didn’t release his grip on Madison.

He figured keeping her close was the best thing to do until she composed herself. After she gasped for air, he felt a gust of wind from behind him. He looked over at the bar and noticed the guy in the suite had vanished. He sighed heavily, knowing what that meant. He looked back at Madison just before she lifted her head from his chest, he loosened his grip so she could easily look up at him. Her red, puffy, and scared eyes brought for a look of even more concern for her.

Sam listened as she explained what she had just gone through, his thoughts went to what Castiel called angel radio. A sigh escaped him as looked around the room. He nodded to her question, not wanting to lie to her. “Yes.” he whispered. “But it’s okay. Everyone got out unharmed.” He then released her but kept a hand on her arm to make sure she was alright and to let her know he was there. He looked around the dark diner before looking back at her once again.

“Come on, we need to get out of here before others come and start asking questions.” he said, sliding from the booth. He held out his hand to her to help her out of the booth. “Once we’re outside, we can see where Dean and Esme went.”
Esme Stirling

Esme took in his words about them being alike. He was right, especially the part about being alone. When he kissed her hair and rested his cheek on her head, she closed her eyes, taking it in. She felt so at ease with the calm that was radiating off of him and the near silence surrounding them. Maybe she was enjoying the moment a little too much, but it felt like ages since she had been this calm. She just wanted to drink it in forever, but she knew it would have to end at some point. So, she would enjoy it while she could.

She smiled as she spoke how he didn’t know how long she’d stick around and how he’d always be around. When he emphasized, he wouldn’t leave her hanging. Her smile grew, and she nodded softly to show she knew. After everything, she couldn’t see herself leaving anytime soon. Not to mention, this moment they were sharing made her not want to leave either. She didn’t want to go back to going it alone even if she knew she could call and he would come to help her with anything. She felt she would lose her mind if she were alone again.

At his hug, she almost looked up at him, but spoke again. She would wait until he had finished before she said anything. She knew it would be rough if she stayed after hearing they were dealing with angels, but hearing Lucifer’s name surprised her a little. She smiled more to his promise of keeping her safe if she wanted to tag along, and would even go easy on Madison. Which made her laugh. Esme then pulled away just enough so she could see Dean’s face and look into his eyes.

“Listen here, Dean Winchester.” she began with a smile. “I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I’m here to stay for a while. Angels or no angels, Lucifer or no Lucifer. You’re stuck with me. I don’t think I can do the alone thing anymore.” she told him, still keeping his gaze. “I can hold my own, but I like knowing you’d keep me safe. Even if I could probably kick your ass.” As she finished her last statement, she grinned with her tongue poked out between her teeth.

Sam Winchester

Sam had watched as some of her actions remind him of Castiel when analyzing something. Again, he thought about what it was about this guy that had her attention. He soon got his answer when she snapped out of it and responded to her name. “What!” he said, trying to keep his voice down as his eyebrows went up in surprise. When Madison covered her ears and looked in pain, he placed his hand gently on her arms. “Hey, you okay.” His voice was full of concern as he looked at her.

When she leaned into him and whimpered, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. “It’s going to be okay.” he said just before the lights flickered. He looked around when he felt a wind with up in the diner, then looked down as she yelled. He lifted his head again as the patrons asked questions about the items taking flight around the diner. He flinched when the light bulbs burst and sparked. He did his best to shield her from it. As the patrons stampeded out of the diner, Sam looked down at Madison.

“Shhh, it’s going to be okay. Try to concentrate on my voice and heartbeat. You can get through this.” he told her as a styrofoam cup hit him. He hugged her closer to him and cut his eyes over to the guy still sitting at the bar. He was far too calm in this situation. He should be running for the door, just as the others were. He narrowed his eyes while still trying to keep himself calm for Madison. He needed to let Dean and Esme know, but he couldn’t get to his phone without letting go of Madison.
