THE DEED IS DONE
The process never took long. It was the great amount of energy draining that made Ariyah feel as if the process took years rather than mere minutes. Still, the young mermaid powered through as she kept her undivided attention on the transitioning human in her arms. She could hear the world around her but she could not see anything but a bright white. It wasn't until something sort of 'clicked' inside of her mind, that Ariyah suddenly let go. It was instinct telling her that she had done all that she could do. Her momentarily lifeless body floated downward onto the soft sands of the semi shallow cove, landing softly and remaining still until she regained consciousness.

Ariyah's thick lashes fluttered with her eyelids as she began to wake up, with not much recollection of what she had done. As she began to push herself up, she could feel a heaviness come over her, as if there were thousands of pounds sitting on her. She, for the first time since being a mermaid, felt sick to her stomach.

"Arys?"

Ariyah peered up into the water above her only to see the merman guarding herself and the newly turned human that laid next to her. Aquawlad and Arys had left and only Link remained. The fact that he watched over them didn't scare her. What worried her was that the other two were now missing.

With great struggle, Ariyah found the strength to push herself up more until her tail began to move and she could swim up to Link. It was a strange feeling. Like when she had been reborn into a mermaid.

"Link? W.. Where are the others?"

Through Ariyah's voice one could tell she was weak but she tried hard to hide it and look normal. She didn't have plans to go looking for them yet, seeing as how the reborn mermaid would need someone to show her the ways of the merpeople, although it usually tended to be second nature.

Hey guys totally sorry I couldn't post today! Had to set up some stuff at the university and so yeah I'm a terrible person. Will post tomorrow for sure!
I will post after Black Panther has posted, unless told otherwise.
@Holy Soldier I've been trying to figure out a way to get your character involved. I don't usually like leaving others out.
@Guardian Angel Haruki id say go ahead and do it. Hopefully the others will get the notifications
Once again, Ariyah found herself wrapped up by someone else's arms. It brought her heart joy as she saw how much her sisters truly cared for her, and needed her around, but she was not used to having others be so close to her.

"I... I'll explain later," Ariyah mumbled as she focused on the human, who collapsed right in front of them. Her violet eyes widened in fear as she practically screamed. At the moment, Ariyah didn't care if the others glared at her. She quickly swam over and used the momentum of the waves to push her onto the shallow water, grabbing the human by the arms and dragging her back in the water as the waves retreated.

"Please let it not be too late. Please, please, please."

Ariyah held the human close, cradling in her arms as she looked at Aquawlad, "Watch over me please? Arys is just below us, there might be a male too." She did not wait for a response as her eyes suddenly burned bright with an intensity. Ariyah had now gone into a trance. One that required their full and utmost undivided attention. Every fiber of her being was now focused on the magic that came from within all Mermaids to turn others in need. Turning those whom were volunteering was one thing. Turning those whom were on the verge of passing was another. As her eyes glowed with motivation for saving the woman, Ariyah saw nothing but white. Her mind, for a moment, became in sync with the human as she felt for her breathing to slow down. Once it had slowed to nearly nothing, Ariyah let both of their bodies sink into the water, letting it flow into the human's respiratory system.

Ariyah had never turned anyone since she had been turned herself. She remembered her elders saying that it took not only time, but passion within oneself to change someone for the first time. In a way, Ariyah guessed that she wanted to pay back the debt of having her life saved although it was involuntary. That might have been where she got the motivation from. Another reason could have also been from the sheer fact that she hated to see others in trouble.

Nonetheless, Ariyah now found herself in the most vulnerable position that a mermaid could put herself in. These changes usually took places in coves, yet here they were in the open.
