Honestly just using 251 Pokemon is a bit of a problem for a few players who want to collect same-type Pokemon. Not a lot of Ghost-types, Dark-types, Ice-types, and Steel-types. At least there's more Fairy-types to use, since some Normal Pokemon were switched.

In the previous version of Indigo, we weren't allowed to build a team composed primarily of one type in particular; no Monotype Challenges, if you will. I feel it makes sense to impose that restriction here as well.

Oh, I got another question: will hidden abilities be part of the RP or nah?

Pokémon with Hidden Abilities would be particularly difficult to find, since each character only gets one capture per route. Neo will require a strong reason for finding one and adding it to the team. And you'd only get to catch one Pokémon with its hidden ability.
I'm assuming the whole applicant acceptance process is basically a "may the best win", kind of deal? I'm pretty intrigued by the setting, especially if it's had a few years to develop, so I think I'll try tossing in a character, if that's all right.
Applicants are chosen based on the quality of their sheets, rather than it being a 'first-in-first-served' type deal. So yeah, feel free to post a character.
I was wondering if there might be Gym Leader / Indigo League changes, since it's 10 years into the future. Maybe Silver became one of the Elite Four. XD
As of yet, there are no changes to the Gym Leaders or Indigo League.
Duly noted. However, I recommend you check the announcement at the top of the OP. Warriors of Sengun will be starting over in Advanced at some point in the foreseeable future, as Casual doesn't seem like the best environment for gathering interest and applications without regular bump posts. So everyone has a bit more time to work on their characters.
I can't be sure, but I am wondering if this is a continuation of a game held on the SuperHeroHype RPG subforum. Is it?
Nope. I was part of the first version of Indigo and I can't say I've heard of that forum.
Pseudo-legendary species are not an option for a starter. @hatakekuro, you will need to find an alternative.
Alright, would it be okay to change the Milotic to a Dratini instead? As for heterochromia, can be removed. Will replace his eye color with a simple hazel on the borderline of amber in color. As for the bracelet, it will be moved to the appearance section.
Apologies for the delay; I was just out the door to leave for work when you posted your question. Changing to Dratini is fine. =)
Commentary on the sheets so far:
-snip'd-
There are several points here that I find questionable. - A confident, charismatic... doubting, harsh-on-himself pessimist. This is rather contradictory to me. - I'm not seeing mention of Warriors in the bio, and yet your character's always wanted to be one. - Why does he have a PokéLink, a device exclusive to Sengun, when he's from Sinnoh? - Chimchar isn't available for collection at Ilex Laboratories. - - All Pokémon chosen as a starter begin at level 5, rather than 4.
-snip'd-
- Milotic isn't part of the Sengun Regional Pokédex, which leads me to question how it became the Huijara family crest. - - I assume the bracelet in your character's inventory is the item along the lines of my suggestion for a meaningful possession. In which case it should be part of the Appearance section rather than Inventory. From my notes: (Hint: In the Appearance section, give your character a personal item that holds significance.) - As a side note, I'm generally adverse to heterochromia in characters. It's not something that, in my experience, has added to characters in a meaningful way.
While I'm waiting for more applications to be posted, I'd like to take a moment to state that I'm more partial to reading a complete sheet as opposed to a work-in-progress one. I've seen people post half-finished characters and never get around to filling the blanks.
Alright, and shall I post it here or in the character tab? Everyone seems to be using this tab.
Here will be fine for now. I'm not entirely sure what Neo plans to do with the Characters tab.
