Once I start the RPs I'm plotting now I can go on to start some more! Because I know there'll be lots of waiting in between. :) Putting my interest check on hold now.

Going to try to start some rps tomorrow!

The thing about me is that I need to be in a lot of RPs at once. One post will get the engine going for all the others. I've honestly never been in "too many" at once. RP with me a lot! <3

Yura's heart started to race again as she approached her home. She got as far as the door knob before she panicked. She released it, stumbled back, and and flash-stepped away. Then she absolutely bolted out of there. The fact was she wasn't recovered from her own issues yet and it was all too much.
But Yura really wasn't one to dwell on things. She felt things deeply but they didn't often rise to the surface or stay there very long. She eventually calmed down and recognized how silly she was being. From there she sought something useful to do and decided to go grocery shopping. The mundane task was surprisingly soothing, despite the fact that it was tied both to Sasuke and to the thing she'd just run away from--her home. About the time she was buying dessert she began to actually look forward to going to home. Simply recognizing she had that desire dampened her original panic and increased the longing even more.
Yes, a lot of things were different now. MAJOR things. But not everything. She needed to remember that. It was a minor bulwark against giving up completely.
The last thing she bought, from a little blonde girl in her family's shop, was a boxed up flower. A lotus for 'rebirth.' When she got home she put it on the table in a shallow bowl and felt better for having something symbolic and new in the old place.
She put away the shopping and then she went around her house, re-familiarizing herself with it. Entering her room for the first time was the weirdest thing she'd had to do all day. It didn't... fit anymore somehow. But her clothes still did. They fit her perfectly. They were her old familiar clothes. And that, again, was a small thing that made her feel better.
So was the music. She turned it on while she prepared food and she even danced a bit. It lifted her mood considerably.
There was an art to making Sushi and Yura didn't quite have the patience to learn. But anyone with the right tools could do a tasty job. She made two types of rolls, tuna and salmon, then sliced them evenly. She put half on her plate and half on a second. Then she bit her lip, looking at it. "This is probably too much food for a kid, right?" Oh well. It was all going in the fridge for now. But she felt stupid for never having had to feed a kid before. What if he didn't like sushi? She bit her lip again. Absently, she picked up the sake next and then put it down. Then she shook her head and poured herself a cup. Then she hid the bottle from the kid and slumped at the table with a sigh.
She looked out the window and saw that the moon was rising. She hadn't noticed it was that late. Was the kid even coming? She drank her sake. And then, pathetically, she fell asleep right at the table.
But she WAS a jounin after all. So she woke again when the kid entered. She reached for a kunai, knocked over the sake, and jumped to her feet. A second later she realized what was going on though, and put the kunai away. Then she hurried to clean up.
"It's okay, Sasuke-kun. You can come in the kitchen now."
She cleaned up and put in another CD, a calm one on a lower volume. Then she turned and smiled, surprising herself with how happy she actually was that he'd come.
Her short black hair was curled behind each ear and her bangs were parted, revealing more of her face, making her look more open and friendly. She was a petite woman and only about 22 years old. Her black eyes weren't glittering with excitement or anything but they were kind and the smile showed in them.
She was wearing a dark blue kimono tied with a yellow sash and had on black house slippers. The fingerless gloves from earlier were removed, revealing the elaborate looking seals on both hands. Her fingernails were unpainted and she was makeup-less but unblemished.
Watching closely, Yura spotted some positive emotion flicker in his eyes. Happiness... hope? It was a little bit of interest at least. But the ember died a second later. She winced as he repeated his words to her. Maybe she shouldn't have said it that way. Then she sighed, in a way that sounded just as sad as he did.
She closed her eyes, flipping the sharingan off. The boy didn't notice, too busy staring down. Then he sat and curled up. Yura didn't like how pitifully small and lonely he looked....was.
After he glanced at her hand and still didn't take it, Yura dropped the offer without rancor. She didn't know what to do now. She hadn't come here with a plan and she doubted she could even come up with one now. She was just making this up as she went along. How else could she get through... any of it?
But if there was one thing that did rankle her it was his lackluster response even to the offer to train! If he was still going to go to the academy, shouldn't he be a little more interested? Oh well, whatever. At least he wasn't AGAINST training... because what else did they have in common? What were she and this kid going to do together now that they were stuck with each other? And after all, his brother--No, god, no. If he didn't turn out like Itachi in a million years, even if it meant he'd NEVER become a ninja, that was a GOOD thing. And right now, honestly, the foundation of HER desire to be a ninja was shaken too. Alright, let him 'whatever' her for now.
Finally, she stood up, not bothering to move slowly this time.
She looked down at Sasuke.
"My name is Uchiha Yura." She wondered if he would care to remember it. "I'm going home and I'm sure you can find me if you need me," she finished.
She walked across the water in front of him to the shore and just kept going from there.
"Come over later for dinner!" she ordered/offered over her shoulder.
She wondered how he'd take that. Probably be irritated and/or uninterested, she figured. But she also thought it might get to him after a while. And if it didn't, she would just show up at his house and barge in. Technically, she was supposed to be living with him after all. But she didn't want to rush things. She'd guard him tonight though, regardless of whether she was actually moved in there. That was good enough for now.
...The only thing was she didn't have any groceries.
Well, what had she expected? Happiness and trust? Nah. And Yura wasn't displeased by the negative reaction. In fact, she smiled a bit at his response. It was childish, but still good. He tried to expel a genjutsu first, very smart.
Her eyes whirled, memorizing everything about this moment. Though her main reason for turning her eyes on was simply so he'd know, without a doubt, who and what she was. An Uchiha like him. And now he believed it. But he didn't know what side she was on. She didn't blame him for that wariness.
She tried not to smile wider at his following threat. She copied the handsign, eyes twinkling now with amusement.
"Oh yeah?" she raised an eyebrow. "Me too, kid." Then she quickly dropped her hands back into an unthreatening pose.
She slowly crouched to get even with his eyes, hoping he wouldn't startle and attack. "Very wise," she said approvingly, warmly. "But unnecessary." She didn't say his weak defense was useless against her or anything condescending and cocky like that. She said it simply was not necessary.
Her face gentled and she slowly held out her hand for a handshake. She was wearing fingerless gloves, covering her palm, but there were tattoo-like lines down the underside of all her fingers ending in a dot on her fingertips. It looked a little weird, perhaps threatening. It wasn't meant to be though and it didn't even occur to her to that they might be.
"We're the last Konohagakure Uchiha, Sasuke-kun. I'll train you, but I won't fight you."
Misty wasn't sure how she knew it was going to be an important day, she just did. Maybe it was because the day was so beautiful and sunny? Maybe it was the simple pleasure of just kicking back and fishing as long as she wanted? Not a care in the world and all the potential of a good catch.
And then she did catch something, something big.
Only it was a boy and not a water pokemon.
And then everything happened so fast. He had a pikachu and it was hurt. What a horrible trainer! He was abusive! And then he stole her bike! He was an abusive thief! And then the spearow and the storm... It was all too much.
The birds swooped at her so she ran away and hid. She came out after they left and gathered up her stuff like her fishing pole and bag, cursing the boy for taking her transportation. She had to ride out the storm here, protected just by trees. But it wasn't a bad storm after all, aside from that HUGE lightening strike. When it lightened up she rushed after him.
She found the spearows first. All of them were unconscious.
Misty was as shocked as they were. "D-did the pikachu do this?" And then she was angry. These poor birds and that poor pikachu. It wasn't in any condition for more fighting! Especially not enough to take out all these birds! It was so cruel she felt tears in her eyes.
That awful boy needed to be locked up!!! "Especially," she said, "Because he stole my..."
Just then her eyes finally fell on her bike, abandoned and burnt. "Bike!" she finished.
She dropped everything in her arms and stumbled forward.
"W-WHAT!!! No way!" She reached for it and then clenched her fists. "YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!" she screamed at the boy, causing some of the spearow to flinch.
She glanced at them and then, worried they might still be angry when they woke up, shoved everything into a bundle and lugged it all, including her bike, down to the town, blessing the fact that it was downhill and not far. While cursing the fact that she couldn't be on her bike while she did this.
She caught up to the boy in time to see him going with a cop.
"Huh! That's appropriate!" she hurried after them, calling, but they didn't hear. Then, just as she got up to the officer's house, apparently, they came speeding out of the garage and backfired exhaust at her.
"HEY! What's the big idea!!" she cried. Unfortunately they were in too much of a hurry to notice.
<hr>
Misty was miserable and tired and dirty now. So she took a break at the first shop she saw, glancing back out at her bike every few seconds, getting angrier every time she looked at it. She came back out, restored, and practically ran to the pokemon center where she knew he'd still be. It was getting very dark now.
She saw the officer leave, but the boy wasn't with her.
She strode inside, still hauling her bike as evidence, and called out in a loud voice, ""AHA! Now I've got you!" Misty huffed and puffed. "I knew I'd find you here!" More huffing. She stomped over to him and held the bike overhead like she was going to throw it at him.
"Look what you did to my bike, you little punk! If this is how you treat things I can see why your pokemon had to be--"
Suddenly she wobbled, loosing her balance more every second. The bike fell on her and skidded way. Misty spilled onto the floor. Grimacing, she rubbed the back of her head and sat up slowly. Unbelievable!!! Except that she was overwrought and exhausted. If only she'd been more careful it might not have happened. But blaming herself didn't make her any less mad at the boy.
@BeanieBaggie Well I don't really have a superhero character or a civilian. xD But I do have a girl with Electrokinetic powers. I usually use her for X-Men rps. She could be living in a superhero world trying to be a civilian. Her powers aren't controlled very well. Anyone that touches her gets quite a shock. So she doesn't touch anyone. And if she touches a conductive substance, it'll suck the electricity out of her and potentially make her pass out. So her clothes are lined with inuslative fabric. She looks normal enough from the outside (except unhappy) so your superhero could mistake her for a civilian and try to save her from something and get shocked?
