The town of trade, home to the majestic World Tree, and place of masked strangers rushing from place to place. Sometimes the place stunk of beer, other times the sweet scent of a field of various flowers drifted into town. Maybe by luck would the monsters on Departure Island be smaller than the Massive Tree. Esdeath had no concerns of whether people wanted in or out of the game, she could care less honestly. Someone was going to get them out, eventually… right? Maybe someone along the lines could make her care as the range of her skills came with great advantages. Before anything could happen, she wanted to sight and breathe in the horrors of this island and….kill it but she did not yet want to choose which side to aid. As of right now she chose to travel with the Liberation group in the distance, at times traveling solo.
At the end of Garnet’s speech, she pushed the last grape into her mouth, her front teeth delaying a few seconds before deeming it to it’s certain death Beneath an oak tree. As the sugary substance coating her tongue, she smiled ferociously. Her idea was harmless in nature and required no commitment on her side.
After all the girl appeared harmless. Honey-blonde hair gently fell in waves to the middle of her back, complementing the girl’s blue eyes which feigned innocence. Being a innocent human simply wasn’t enough- they would always be required to join a guild when traveling with one, which is why she walked away from the shadows as a black cat with the same humanly eyes. It was as large as a great Dane. The fur was more rugged than normal adding to its size, giving the cat a more alarming appearance. Strangers were less likely to try and approach and coddle the cat, doubting that it was a cat and more of a panther. The game would say that she was nothing more than a cat. Yes, this would have to do.
Esdeath weaved between the crowds, keeping her eyes on the prize: Garnet. Not many threw a second glance to the cat. It was normal to see wandering , slightly harmless animals roaming buildings and the streets. However, someone who focused on the cat would notice it was slightly different from the others.
”YEAH FUCK THOSE BASTARDS” One gentleman had shouted, gulping liquid.
Foolish Esdeath thought, knowing that he was likely intoxicating himself, increasing his chance of being killed. The larger animal “bumped” into, if not knocking the man over she probably wasted most of his drink.
You’re welcome. She leaped onto the platform after he performed his speech on, others from the crowds shouted their overly prideful responses back. If cats could laugh, she probably would. Most of these people would shiver in their shoes and flee before they ever got to the island.
Esdeath asserted her presence, walking in tightly-knit circles around the Garnet’s feet. The cat purred, nudging his hand as if she were saying “Take me with you please.” Of course, transforming was only part of her plan. She wanted to have a little “fun” on the way.
