@Rusalka

Yeah, I'm sure Vanessa wouldn't mind keeping the fireplace lit for the night with her fire spells to keep her warm.
Hmm... seems like Vanessa would enjoy a warm, cozy tavern. But then again she's with the Parliament, but then again she's not exactly the Governor's men, but then again she might get poison in her ale, but then again it's a safe place away from crazy men. Damn.
@Proxi

Nahhh, I meant we're waiting on your decision, whether to pull the plug or go on.
Vanessa went back down the building to report her findings to Samuel, "Sir, there appears to be only one person behind the attack, he or she is well hidden in the shadows but it's nothing a volley of musket fire can't solve. The windows will provide good view." Vanessa awaited the Governor's orders.
Well this is new, first time seeing more female characters than males :P
Erm... who exactly are we waiting for? Don't mean to be rude, just wondering in case you guys are waiting on me.
"Yeah, long story. She's Emily from the beach. Right now we're tasked to kill you, or rather we were. There's a sniper waiting to blow our heads off once we leave this country. How's your day been?" William paused for a moment before realizing something, "Oh fuck! Sandra's in deep shit then!". William has completely forgotten that Sandra is still with Jared which complicates things a bit, actually many bits.

William tried his best to dance while he's struggling to keep himself together, "Alright, here's the thing. Sandra is with Jared, an oracle who tasked us, along with Jeffery, his brother, also known as the sniper to kill you and retrieve Eddie. But it turns out that I'm gonna be killed too, as just revealed by Emily. The sniper will be taken care of, no worries, but right now the problem is getting Sandra back."
William took a moment to think over Emily's words, "Can she really be trusted? Is it her plan to lure me into doing something wrong so Jeffery would have a reason take both me and Jesper out? Then again if she's telling the truth, having someone on our side from these parts would prove useful." he thought to himself. "Alright Emily, say you're telling the truth, we might be able to help each other out. I've sum-", William's words were cut short when he spotted Jesper and Eddie in the corner of his eye. "Hey it's them! We'll talk about it when we group up." said William as he danced the Macarena while moving towards Jesper and Eddie. As they got closer, William shouted out to them, "Oye! Jesper, Eddie! We're over here!"
Emily's words stopped William right in his tracks. "Wait, you've gotta be kidding me right!? If what you said is true, why are you telling me all this?" William was too surprised at this sudden reveal and couldn't dance properly anymore, he just wiggled around while looking out for Jesper and Eddie. Eerrrr... Macarena?
Vanessa just stood back and observed the men doing their things while looking after the scythe. Suddenly, she heard a gunshot coming from the entrance and saw Gaz getting shot on his hand. She turned towards the entrance the gun was fired but saw no one, she was caught off guard by the shot but she was unfazed. She knew there was no backup, at least not one with a significant number of Rebels or else they would've rushed in.

The Enforcers were in position by the door, likewise the assailant was probably outside, waiting to ambush whoever exits the building to confront him. Now they have to play the waiting game, for whoever moves first loses. Vanessa handed the scythe to a nearby Enforcer and unsheathed her own sword. "Whoever is out there, back off. Assaulting an Enforcer is a criminal offence, but luckily for you we have more pressing matters right now. Leave, and we'll spare you this time." demanded Vanessa.

Not waiting for a reply, Vanessa climbed up the building and peered through a window, hoping to get a better view of the whole scenario. She could barely make out a lone figure hiding in the shadows, it had to be the assailant.
