Bio

Age: 30
Occupation: Adventurer

RolePlays: My strongest is the dark and depraved. Fantasy comes in at a close second.

I've been RolePlaying since I was about 11 years old, starting off with Yahoo! Chatrooms before moving onto Persistent Worlds in NeverWinter Nights. I am a huge fan of RPGs in general (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Earthbound, Secrets of Mana, etc.) and have recently rekindled my passion for RPing.

If we go by D&D alignment, I tend to play Neutral Evil or Chaotic Neutral characters. I have a proclivity for the weird and macabre (I'm a Lovecraftian) and love to explore character concepts and meanings. I prefer having deep lore and character development over mindless hack and slash.

I'll be posting soon. I didn't disappear, just had a bad bourbon hangover today haha.
@XenoCyanideSo, with your CS, I see your character is saying that he's a Warlock, but he's coming off very heavily to me as a Medium. You also are having him perform too many jobs. You're combining the Research aspect with Agent. He can't be a researcher and an agent because as a researcher, he is expected to do research and analyze the information and evidence that agents bring to him. He also can't be a gate opener because that would be a third job. So your character can't have three jobs.

I was combining the researcher and agent ideas only in the sense that he knows basic ideas of how an agent operates, but he is in the field as more of a support role than an actual agent. He wouldn't be kicking down doors or anything haha.

I'm not sure what you mean by a gate opener being a third job? It's a power he possesses, not a job he embodies for the syndicate. If its an issue l I can change it to something else, regardless :)
I will have on written up by the end of the weekend! :)

Penny Dreadful? Hee I have only watched the first few episodes but I am already hooked

Not to spam, but I agree! The show is fantastic!
Xen's eyes lifted slightly as Sadron entered the room, drawing the attention of everyone around him. He was a commanding man, although, like his kin, he was slender and graceful. Xen did his best not to draw attention to himself, wanting to gauge the personalities of those gathered around before making any haphazard attempt at communication. He saw a man who was dictating another's story, seemingly almost obsessed with the idea while the man speaking to him spoke very highly of himself. A woman fumbled with her books as she poorly attempted at socializing. In a weird way, she reminded him of himself when he was younger. Never knowing what to say or what was appropriate for the moment. His eyes passed over to another woman who was clearly a woman who gave no stock in the formalities, preferring information rather than that second helping of tea.

Bang... Bang...

Sadron's staff collided with the floor, sending ripples throughout the great hall. Xen himself leaned into his staff to gain a better bearing of himself before limping over closer to the center round table where the others had gathered. His own staff clicked across the marble floor before finding himself a suitable position. His green eyes fell upon Arandur, his eyes almost knowing in their age. Xen didn't fail to notice his discomfort when being pressed by The StoryTeller and the general disposition of the two present Triumvirate was less than ideal. Then again, if Sadron sought Xen out, something had to be incredibly distressing. He gave Arandur a slight nod of acknowledgment before tilting his head toward Sadron. It was not lost on him that Erudessa was missing. It was not within his character to jump to conclusions before having all the facts presented in front of him, but he sensed something was amiss.

Sounds good! You can even merit admittance based on our CS. Whichever fits better into the storyline, or who you feel would contribute the most creatively, gets to stay in. :) At least you got a nice turn out! It is indeed a very cool idea.
Haha, fair enough. I'll write something up and shoot it over for approval.
It looks to be an interesting start concept! If you're still looking for another to help hammer out some details, I'd be happy to lend a hand.
I'd be willing to explore several of those genres, chiefly among them would be Fantasy and Supernatural, as I have extensive knowledge in the former and a decent understanding of the latter. I am also a HUGE fan of apocalyptic/dystopian universes (Fallout, Walking Dead, Brave New World, etc.) Any of that works for me as far as general setting. I'd personally like to keep it original content, tho borrowing certain ideas from different sources I'd be more than alright with. If you're still looking for more partners, feel free to PM me and we can discuss ideas and directions.

I also like the idea of using a VOIP system for faster communication.
