Nah it's fine. Just thought it was funny.
Maybe I didn't think that one through because Jews are bound to be hunted down historically in Austria at the time of the Roleplay.
How did you make that family tree?
I made it in paint :D
Adolf II Von Bavaria.... Are you trying to say something?
Haha no. It was a common name back then. Can be changed if you want.
Well, you can start writing your family history and maybe make a coat of arms to go with it. In two or three days I will put up the thread and you can post it there.
No, not at all. In fact, everyone's been very patient with me and I appreciate it a lot.
Actually can I ask, is there yet a rough guesstimate on when the OOC will be up???
Uhh. Well. I know I said it would be this week, but obviously that didn't happen. I will try to do it during this next week, but I still have one more exam on 9th of February so the RP won't officially start until after that. But I will try to at least put up the Roleplay thread with info. We have enough people to start the RP already, I just don't want to get distracted by this when I still have an exam to go. Hope you guys understand.
It seems the Von Hoffendolts have some power in this world....
The dice has spoken.
Finally got around to do the family history. You will notice it's... informative, so open at your own risk. That's six pages of A4 format I believe :D I don't ask of you guys to write as much, of course.
Well, when you put it like that. I guess that will be the case then. Indeed, clerics had a lot of power in their hands, especially over commoners. This gives me an idea for an event.
Priests themselves usually, while part of the household, acted quite independently. The bishop, for example, would likely have his own palace/manor/castle somewhere and receive quite a hefty income. Priests I'm not as sure about. Parish priests would receive money from tithes. As to ones that served only the lords, I assume they would receive some sort of tithe as well, most likely from part of the lord's income.
I see. I haven't really made any of my family members a cleric thus far. I suppose one of you guys could have a bishop in the family or perhaps it could be an NPC.
