@Varicke
I need to go to sleep to, g'night!
@Varicke
Dreams were not equivalent to being able to tell someone about someone about one of her favorite Authors. "He is a guy who wrote a bunch of books in the 20's and 30's, though he has had many authors continue his works after he died. He is most famous for creating Cthulhu and the Cthulhu Mythos. His stories were basically about a human who goes insane from learning to much about, or even seeing, one of the beings. The monsters are basically just super advanced beings that could wipe out humans if they felt like it. This style of horror is my favorite and most truthful, much better than some lame ass humans winning." Veronica had managed to get a hold of half of his works and managed to read the rest from other sources. She smiled and began to gently float just above her seat.
@Varicke
Veronica decided to nerd out a bit farther, trying to be less anti-Kiiros. "If you aren't human... than may you be a Great Old One?" Veronica chuckled a bit. "Sorry, Lovecraft reference."
@Varicke
It was nice to see Kiiros have a more regular side. "It is nice to see a psychopath such as yourself isn't so far removed as to not enjoy a good book. While I haven't read many mystery type books, I have found the seldom few that I have entertaining. I prefer the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe myself. The older, classic, horror stories are always extraordinarily interesting; And the best part about something like The Call of Cthulhu, the ending isn't happy, it shows how weak and pointless humans are. The sense of 'We are fucked but can't even begin to comprehend the thing destroying us' is so underused in modern literary works." Now she was starting to ramble. Veronica laughed and looked back at the fight. The fight was basically who could take and throw the hardest hit, pummeling into each other with such savage strategy was impressive to watch.
@Varicke
Veronica got up and sat in another seat. "sure we can talk about other things. What kind of books do you like?" She didn't mind talking about happier things, as long as we can have time for reality.
@Carlsberg
If she wanted to leave it there, then Veronica would drop it despite other thoughts.
@Carlsberg
"We are both broken from a similar thing, but like a scar on a tree, we can grow beyond it, make it a less significant part of who we are." Veronica was holding back her own tears, remaining strong for Jen.
@GingerBoi123
I will try to get some in on my phone, with the notable lack of a highlight button.
@Carlsberg
"I would, if I had a shower" Veronica was being quite frank about a traumatic experience.

I am going to leave for a few hours to go watch the Lazer Team movie. See you all when I get back!
