Veronica observed the group from far away. She was sitting in a cross-legged and hunched over position as she sobbed lightly, making sure that no sound made it out.

Veronica would be angry if she wasn't on the verge of a full breakdown.
I have discovered that Veronica is like The end of Bio-shock: Infinite. (Spoilers but come on, the game is years old) Where somethings are consistent across all versions. Such as her Power, and her time on the streets, her unfortunate time with a horrid cult, and her stealth/close combat skills.

She silently hid at the edge of a row, waiting for Ryouko to walk by. Once he did,she swiftly did a sweeping kick to his legs and putting her other leg on his chest. "Go back to the group, I will come back soon enough." All emotion in her voice was gone. She snuck away soon after.
