Sure!
For the first time in five hundred years, the kingdoms of men are united under a single banner. A new religion that forsakes the pantheon of old in lieu of a single, all-powerful diety has brought the humans together. They seek to spread the word of their God; by force if necessary. While the dwarf clans are split between joining or resisting, the elven nations have united to rebuke the encroaching human forces. While only minor skirmishes have occurred between elves and humans, it's only a matter of time before open war is declared. In an effort to prevent all-out war, the highest elven council has decided to send an elite unit deep into enemy territory with the sole purpose of assassinating the High Listener; the powerful human cleric who leads the zealous human masses. Their hope is that without a leader the leaders of men will resort to infighting as they often do.
The team of elves is made up of four uniquely talented elves initially. Not long after departing, the team will be reduced to two (our characters) and tasked with getting past forest creatures, bandits, armies, through swamps, villages and cities until eventually getting a chance to eliminate the High Listener during a speech at the closest city of men to the borders of the elven nations.
Or something like that! You could really play any type of character, as long as they're an elf, but I was hoping to keep a sniper/spotter type of relationship going where my character is the one who is supposed to be delivering the fatal arrow and the other character is basically supposed to get him there safely.
