Game Origin: Final Fantasy Series, mostly FFI and FFIX.
Appearance: A simple torsoless figure clad in a blue robe. His eyes sparkle a spectacular yellow on his pitch-black shaded face. His face is covered by a casual, straw wizards hat. Around his neck, he has ingrained a light blue scarf, and his waist he bears a quite classy buckled belt. He wears brown leather gloves to increase the grip he has on his staff. The bottoms of his feet are brown wizard shoes, and his pants are a striped light blue. He is here on behalf of your request, and here for your service.
Personality: A quiet and gentle soul who's main purpose is being there when help is needed most. He offers help as much as he can and provides insight to those that lack it. His mission in any circumstance is to "return" the light to a place that needs it. He is used to being with at least three others near the ends of his quests, but he always seems to start off on his own.
Background: It was finally near the end of his quest to restore the light and balance of peace to the kingdom of Ivalice. He and his team of four approached the castle that the dark lord Chaos was stationed at. Beside him was his companions; White Mage, Thief, and Warrior. Warrior would look back at the group and nod, indicating that everyone was ready.
They enter the side of the cave that led to the castle, ready to face any calamities that may have approached them. Making it to the end of the cave successfully, the group was ready to face the biggest challenge yet on their mission. They enter the castle and face-off the giant, dark wizard.
...
Successfully have fought the enemy, most of his friends had arrived at the peak of their performance. The Warrior was now a Knight, The White Mage now a White Wizard, and the thief, his closest friend in the group, was now a Ninja. He and his friends had come so far, yet he himself had not hit his peak. He scratched his head in wonder, his friend, Ninja shrugging his shoulders. They all took the same steps together and did nearly the same work, why had Black Mage not improved?...
The four walk together to the top of the dark hill to witness the fixation of the light in the kingdom. It was beautiful and bright. They all sat down, admiring their hard work paying off. Then something strange began to occur... Rather than slowly fixating back to the origins, the entire sky began to shine as if the sun were less than a mile from the earth. Black Mage would stand and point away, indicating they hid. His friends nodded in approval, and they all began to run from the beams of light that chased them.
One by one they were picked off. White Wizard, Knight, and then finally Ninja. Black Mage was the last surviving member, he was absolutely not going down without a fight. Fight he did, yet the light reached him regardless...
Specialty:Charisma/Mage
Level: 2
Experience: 3/20
Powers:
Thundara - A more advanced version of the regular thunder spell. Not the final stage, but can inflict more damage then it's predecessor.
Stop - An ability that may inflict total paralysis on the enemy. Makes good getaways, and provides many openings for attacks
Strengths:
Magic and MP attacks.
Being there when he is needed most.
Communication and philosophy.
Weaknesses: Is not particularly skilled in hand to hand combat, but will make use of his magic staff if need be. While he can often communicate his ideas without words, there are some messages he must get out by using his voice. He has a particularly spicy attitude that may spark conflicts with others.
Spirits:
NA
Kindred Spirits:
Prisoner (Dead Cells) - A headless entity who no longer possesses the ability to die. He constantly switches from corpse to corpse if the one he is using has been desecrated. While he loses everything he owns when zed body is destroyed, he does, however, keep any abilities or powers he has gained in total.
Snifit - A common and simple Shy Guy equipped with a cannonball firming mask that often comes in handy. From the Super Mario Series, and originated from Super Mario Land 2: Yoshi's Story. The cannon shots fired from the mask (Much like other Super Mario physics), defies common physics and is extremely accurate.
Ninja (Final Fantasy) - Black Mage's closest friend and companion he met on his quest to return the light. He is a kind and quiet soul similar to the Mage's personality but tends to take higher initiative when needed. They both have close reasonings and motivation and have been friends multiple years after their quest.
Made my level two update for Black Mage. Added his ability "Stop" and gave a minor boost to his Thunder spell. Edit: When a character creates a friend heart, do they lose their current powers?
