The world is filled with demons who possess abilities and techniques beyond those of basic human comprehension. These demons are unseen to the untrained eye and yet they plague this world without anyone knowing about it. Their wide range of abilities can cause a wide range of disasters from just being a daily nuisance to creating tsunamis in a matter of seconds. Created by negative emotions and building tensions, there is only one way to defeat these monsters: exorcism. These monsters are what are referred to as
Curses. However, there are people in this world who possess similar powers to those of Curses. Through birth if they have high amounts of cursed energy, they alone carry the ability to perform exorcisms on Curses. These people come in many shapes, sizes, and have wide ranges of powerful offensive and defensive abilities. With their hand, they keep the world safe from curses. These individuals are the ones known no other than as the
Jujutsu Sorcerers.
The life of a Jujutsu Sorcerer in Tokyo, Japan was never one for the faint minded. Everyday was spent battling terrifying Curses, or training to defeat them. It was always a busy life that was constantly changing, whether a Sorcerer liked it or not. Their lives were always on the line and they constantly found themselves throwing their lives in the way of others. The world they worked for was scary and if they didn't do it, then who would?
The world of sorcery had changed significantly over the past few years, there's no doubt about that... Everyday more and more ordinary humans began developing innate sorcerer abilities and those with abilities inherited from lineage became stronger than their ancestors. Unique abilities began appearing more and more rapidly, each one being more and more impressive than the last. There would be many great sorcerers going to the small school of Jujutsu High, that was for certain.
As the curtain for new students lifted, expectations for great students rose, allowing greater heights to be met. Students would be tested further, trained to be greater, and given assignments that would push past their limits, making them stronger. Each year would hold the expectation of raising stronger sorcerers than the last.
They wished that were the case forever. The fact of the matter is that they still hosted many of the most powerful, destructive, evil sorcerers who would later become equally as powerful curses, and that definitely took it's toll on the world. Many of these evil sorcerers would have unlocked the seal to curses that used to roam the lands freely unchecked and killing whoever they pleased... Curses have existed in opposition to humans, and as the stronger species, naturally were a threat. Sorcerers had always taken care of them, yet...
With the arrival of the first years at Jujutsu High, the second and third years were in the midst of heavy training, keeping to their own with their practices and missions as they learned to become great Sorcerers. Many of the first years had much to learn, but brought their individual talents and techniques to the school. Teachers were ecstatic and the council grew hopeful. Well, most of the council was excited for the new arrivals...
With the lack of students from well known Jujutsu families clans, the council grew skeptical of the new age of student's abilities, whether they would make satisfactory sorcerers or not.
Where it stands now, they cannot afford another student turning to evil sorcerers. Sure, it was never the students fault in that matter, but if it keeps blood off of the council's hands, they'd blame anyone else for making a villain. They had to uphold their reputation, and if one stray hair ruined their appearance,
they would cut it off without hesitation, human or not. That was their code.
It had been a few weeks since the first years had reconciled themselves into the ranks at the school. The lowerclassmen of the school had yet to meet their upperclassmen who spent their time out on missions nearly everyday. The most prominent member being one of the third years, who everyone knew so little about... even the third years themselves.
Sorcerer missions had become more common in their curriculum as curses became more and more prominent in the world. Disappearances were happening more frequently and humans kept dying for unknown reasons... What was causing these disasters to happen so often? What had changed?
The council would be investigating this, but for the time being, it would be up to the current sorcerers to deal with any imminent threat of Curses.
- Players will start with a relatively normal student character to play as, but will later get the chance to create a sorcerer or villain to play as.
- Canon characters and the world will be handled by me. Please do not try to overstep boundaries as a player in the RP. By this I mean do not avoid situations I the GM put you in. Ex. If I say you get hit, you get hit, no dodgey dodgies.
- Characters must be original in the aspect they are not based off of another canon character in the series. If you wish to play a character of family lineage to a canon character, please run it by me first.
- Character sheets must be placed in OOC for further approval.
- Should go without saying, no OPing, no Mary-Sues, and most importantly, no stealing command of the world.
In Regards to Cursed Energy
This is very important! Please read this!!!
I will be very lenient with how your character deals with using cursed energy, HOWEVER, if I feel a character has expended too much of their power, I will state in a post that your character is getting weaker. While I feel that many characters will be able to break their boundaries, I will award you with new powers and abilities when I feel it is deserved (Ex. You defeat a big bad). If I state that your character is low on stamina/cursed energy or has taken too many hits and is rendered unable to fight, they are unable to fight.
Basically a rule of: IF I SAY YOUR CHARACTER DIES, THEY DIE.
This does not necessarily mean I will kill your character, this does mean that if I say your character has had enough, they had enough.
Outside of canon, this is what is known so far:
- Only two of Sukuna's fingers have been obtained thus far.
- One of the Third-year students identity is unknown to all of the current students.
- Gojo has worked at Jujutsu High as a teacher for two years now.
- Curses are more common and much stronger.
- Geto is NOT going to be the main antagonist.
