The Short of It…
Welcome to sunny California! Where the wealthy and the privileged mingle at benefits and parties in order to hide their often torrid and scandalous personal lives. You’re young, you’re rich and you’re famous. The world both loves and hates you. Your face is on billboards and on magazine covers. Your private life is spread all across the internet and social media. Let’s be honest, you wouldn’t have it any other way. And for those twentysomethings that live on the ironically named Hollywood Road, their stories are the ones we’re here to see.

This rp will follow the live of a group of celebrities from various backgrounds and occupations as they strive to survive in their chosen field as well as navigate the perilous waters of California’s social elite. They could be actors, musicians, heiresses, reality show stars, whatever you want as long as they are in some way shape or form in the public eye. There is no overarching plot to this other than to build up our characters and the world around them.

The Setting
The setting for this little jaunt into the celebrity lifestyle is the fictional gated community of Hollywood Road in Orange County. It’s very much a town unto itself with its own golf and shooting clubs, various fundraising event and sports teams. The houses border from fantastic mansions to modest yet still expensive bungalows. The climate is hot, it’s right by the beach and the sky is always blue.

Behind the Scenes
For a long time now, myself and my lovely companion Izzy have been known primarily for our intense, dark and pretty breathtaking rp’s. In some ways, making rp’s like that can take a toll. It can zap your creativity and drive to do anything. So we decided to take a step back. After a month away, we’ve came back with the idea of doing a relaxed, more light hearted rp but still with a bit of drama.

Rules
1. We're in the casual section, so no one-liners. At least one paragraph of detailed content per post.
2. Respect each other and treat each other as equals, any disagreements take to PM.
3. If there is a problem between players the GM's will help solve it so that we can do what we came to do - have fun and write something riveting.
4. Cussing, gore and romance is fine, but if you're getting into serious territory, please fade to black or move to pm.
5. If you don't post within a week we'll check in with you and if we don't get a response we'll remove your character from play in a fitting manner.
6. We run a cast system in this rp. Two main characters is the limit with two to three recurring.
7. Have a good time

I won’t beat around the bush guys. For a while now, I have been lacking in excitement, enthusiasm and inspiration for any and all rp. I don’t know if this is just because of my work load lately or what but I’ve now reached the point where I am so drained, that I just don’t have the ability to care anymore. With that in mind, I’m going to leave Justice. Now don’t think for a second that means this rp has to stop, I trust you guys to carry it on however you want, if you want to that is. I’m sorry but I just can’t continue on in the knowledge that I’m not giving it my all.

I’m going to be taking a break from rping as a whole for about a month. After which time if I still feel the same, then maybe it’s about time I move on. I don’t want to leave but if I can’t get myself back to where I was before, then there’s no reason to stay other than to talk to people I care about.

So - Er, now that I'm back from my unspoken vacation. Does anyone want to give me some sort of guidance as to what the hell Sergeant Talamantez is supposed to be doing? Is she investigating the death, breaking the news?

Well we had a day move Foxxy, so we could have her searching Kowalcyzk's apartment and questioning his relatives and friends about him :)

The night had closed in, it had been a very long day. Ben closed his locker and threw on his thin grey hoodie. It was after all still California and ridiculously hot. He glanced down at the slip of paper he had scribbled on and crumpled it up in his hand before leaving the changing room and the hospital. Climbing into his car, a rather plain looking 1988 Chrysler New Yorker, he flicked on the radio and turned off into the street. With his families money, Ben could easily afford a better car. Hell he could afford not to even work but that wasn’t his style. He liked to hide in plain sight, it was the best way to do business. Having memorized the route just before leaving the hospital, Ben pulled up outside the block of apartments in a nicer part of town called Hillcrest. Turning off the engine, with cold blue eyes he looked up into the open window of Apartment 21b. His grip on the steering wheel tightened as he watched Rose through the glass…

DAY TWO



Brian & Tomas Caballero

“Sí, Don Arias. Según tengo entendido. Jagielski le haré saber que es el doble de la expedición y voy a dejar mis ojos abiertos para el holocausto. No hay problema señor. Usted tiene mi palabra” Tomas hung up his cell phone and through it onto his desk. His bright eyes turned to look at Brian who was seated opposite him. “Don Arias is willing to continue on the deal, even after your man Kowalcyzk’s stupidity. However, he’s also made it very clear that if you and yours fuck up again, then you’re dead. You. Your brothers. Your daughter. Dead. The only reason he’s continuing on with this is because I vouched for you. And the only reason I did that is because your cousin Isaac married my sister and because of that girl he gave her. Screw this up Brian and even I can’t help”

Brian looked at the lawyer and sighed greatly through his nose. It still irked him that his late cousin had gotten into bed with the dirty Mexican cartel, worse than that he married one and ended up having a half latina kid. Fuck knows where that girl was, she was in her twenties now and last he heard she was hopped up on Eyeshine. “I won’t fuck it up” He growled. Tomas nodded. “Good because it’s double the shipment next week. Don Arias can’t afford it miss any time” Brutal got to his feet and stared at the man. “It’ll get done” He turned and left the office. Tomas looked at his phone. That was one problem down. Now he had to find the burned man.
