“I just like to hurt people, it’s what I do” – Lucas LeBlanc during an interview

Name:
Lucas James LeBlanc

Nicknames:
Forty Four
The Enforcer

Age:
29

Place of Birth:
Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada

Occupation:
Hockey Player (NHL – Los Angeles Kings)

Personality/History:
Born in Moncton, Canada. Lucas LeBlanc had a somewhat a typical childhood. His father has never been in his life until he started making a name for himself but more on that later. He was the only child of a single mother, she struggled for money for a time but eventually got settled in her waitressing job. Lucas was an overweight and sensitive child, he was bullied relentlessly for his size and girth whilst also doing everything he could to take care of his stressed out mom. In order to try and curb the bullying, Luke joined the Pee Wee Hockey team as a goalie. He wasn’t all that talented but his size allowed him to block a lot of the shots taken and he became relatively popular.

When he began to mature, Lucas started to lose his size so as soon as he was able, he hit the gym and converted all of his fat into muscle. It was hard work but in the end, the young man saw it as both a way of staying in the game he had fallen in love with and also just generally becoming much more healthy. He played varsity hockey for his high school as a defenceman and forward before moving up to the junior leagues where he played for the Moncton Wildcats. The combination of his impressive strength and size as well as his temper, earned the big man the nickname “The Enforcer” a name which stuck with him when Luke made the jumped to the NHL. He was drafted 2nd in the 2003 NHL draft and joined up with the Minnesota Wild.

Not long after joining the Wild, Lucas’s father re-entered his life, however the young man saw this for exactly what it was, an old man looking to score some money. The ensuing confrontation resulted in Luke assaulting his father and being given a massive fine thusly giving the man the money he was craving anyway. Lucas spent much of his rookie season benched and was quickly released in the off season for his anger management issues. He was picked up by the Colorado Avalanche, who have proceeded to keep a hold of him for the past ten years until recently when yet another fight caused the enforcer to be cut to save face. Recently, Luke was signed by the Los Angeles Kings and has relocated to Hollywood Road.

Extra:
- Luke is one of a few players who rotates positions, he generally plays defenceman but occasionally plays forward as well due to his quick feet and accurate slapshot.
- He always wears a watch on his left hand
Sorry for the lack of progression guys, had zero internet these past few days. Expect a post from me tonight and then after the next round of posting, we'll wrap up the fundraiser :)
Wes was a little taken back by Jon’s quick and sharp pitch of a movie idea. He had remembered reading all about Bound by Blood. A crime drama centred around the massive Hutchinson clan. Having worked on A Town Called Justice for five years, Wesley was no stranger to the genre. That said he was looking for a change, Bound could very much turn into a similar project which in turn might lead to typecasting; something he was very lucky to avoid during his early years as a teen idol. Then again, the hype surrounding the movie was enormous and it hadn’t even been given the green light yet. Being considered for a role alongside the likes of Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr was an honour in itself. Could Wes afford to be away from home that long though? He had already missed a fair chunk of Tilly’s little life whilst filming for Justice but the opportunity to work with Jon on such a compelling project was hard to pass up.

“Alright, I’ll do the lines but I need some guarantee’s if I get the part Jon” Wes didn’t want to go all A-List and make a set of demands but in this case, he hoped the man sat next to him would understand. “I can’t be away from my daughter, not for long anyway. So if we’re filming anywhere but California, I need days off to see her. I’m only willing to stay away for two months” He pulled a pen from his jacket and scribbled down his number. “If you’re happy with that, here’s my number. Text me the lines and the place you want to meet” He slid the napkin over to Jon and smiled. “Sorry for being a bit of a diva but I love my daughter and I’ve already missed too much”

One of the other “celebrities” on the table had ranted after Wes’s comment about not wanting to be there and the young actor had simply tuned out. He had ordered the four men drinks and when they arrived, Wes simply pushed his back into the centre of the table. “I appreciate the gesture, Mr….” He narrowed his eyes to read the name placeholder as he had no idea who this man was. “…Tin but I’m not drinking tonight. Thank you though”

In the corner of his eye, he noticed the familiar shape of one Art Talamantez, an old friend from his days in Justice. He gave her a wave just as another old friend, Jackson Babineaux made his presence known. They had met a few years prior when Wes did a guest spot on Jackson’s show and they had been pretty close friends ever since. “Normally I’d agree and be walking out with you now, Jax but Jen’s supposed to be here tonight and I need to have a word with her about Tilly. How’s everything with you?”
Expect a post from me tonight too :)

I am not really sure how to continue here.So.. we are doing small talk. good. now what?

Six is right, continue with small talk for now. We're still in the process of introducing everyone so :D
Looking forward to it.
The taste of his orange and soda wasn’t all that satisfying but for Wes, it was suitable as he was driving that night. He scanned the room with is now almost universally known dark eyes, watching as more and more of the “elite” filed into the golf club. One gentleman took a seat next to him and Wesley immediately recognised him as Jon Templeton, one hell of a director. “Evening Mr Templeton, it’s good to meet you finally. I’ve followed your work” Two other men joined the table, neither of whom he recognised. One made a joke about a DP and the other addressed him as Wesley Creed rather than Reed. Wes just couldn’t be bothered to correct him. As he talked with the other men, Wes continued to scan the room. Where was Jen? She was supposed to be coming tonight. Was something the matter with Tilly? Surely she would’ve called him if something was the matter with their baby. The father in him was becoming worried. “I hear you’re nearly set for your Bound by Blood project, Jon. That’ll be one hell of a production. Grand scale all the way I imagine”

Wes turned his head slightly to order another drink. “Orange and soda please” He handed his empty to the waiter and as he left the actors line of site, he caught the gaze of a black and red haired woman. She would definitely stand out in the crowd that night. Returning his attention to the table, Wes moved his slightly crooked fork back into place. “Not to sound like a downer but I kind of just want these evening to end
It's not your fault the site went nuts, Silver. Don't worry yourself about it :)
So barring the crazy repeated posts, great work so far everyone.
It's up to you guys, free reign. If you want to sit at a table, sit at a table. If you want to sit at the bar, sit at the bar :)
